We stayed here from August 8 to August 13 2021 with my 2 children and husband. When I booked the pictures looked good. Upon arriving in the area the owners informed me that the previous renters "destroyed the place and would take longer to get it ready". So we had to find food for my children. We got there and I was informed that the clothes line is broken from previous guest and not repaired. Anyone who has children would know that staying more than 2 days needs to dry clothes. On the site it does say tv and one would assume cable but not the case.As time went on we notified the owners that DVD player and DVDs (not the blueray) were not working properly or intermittently ,we needed this for the rainy day. Everytime we took a shower the toilet would backup and the plunger was also broken ( never informed us). The washroom dosnt have a lock rather a folding door. The back deck horribly maintained looks like 40 to 50 years old. When someone writes beach you think sand but the "beach" that is 3 minutes away was full of rocks and boulders not safe for children had to go to Grand Bend spend gas and parking and buying food when I could have cooked at the cottage. Air-condition had a thumping noise kept us awake majority of the night. We tried the ceiling fan but it shook so much we were afraid it would have fallen. By the end of it all I understand that we stayed there and they deserve something just like how I deserve a partial refund under the circumstances that had occurred by previous guests. They should really hire a property manager that can rectify these types of situations and have it 100% ready for next guest who have paid there full costs to stay here. We gave her 2 days to rectify these issues I am still waiting for a reply.

Nice little place that had a bit of everything. The beach there was clean and by no means crowded. The bedrooms were fine but my only gripe was that the futon couches were a little bit uncomfortable to sleep on. If you are going as a group of more than 4, I would suggest utilizing the outside bunkie or bring an air mattress. However, for a family of four, it is all that you need.

Wonderful time making memories at this cottage. Adorable Bunkie cabin and wonderful deck area. Great location, quick drive into Bayfield and Grand bend. We stayed Monday to Friday and it was perfect.

This is a great little spot, all the things you need and some you didn’t know you needed are available in the cottage. Close to the beach, however also has a fully furnished deck if you choose to stay at the cottage. Quick drive into Bayfield and only 20 minutes to Grand Bend.

The cottage is slightly small, but very cozy and perfect for upto 4 people. It has a lovely gated deck, where we spent most of your time during the day along with our 2 dogs. The cottage has access to a nice private beach which we found empty for most part. The neighbours are friendly. Nuria and Sandra always got back to us right away if we had any question. Summary: a great 3 day stay and we plan to be back in summer for a week :)

My daughters and I stayed at this property for the weekend (Thurs-Sun) and really enjoyed the peaceful space and comfort of the cottage. Everything was clean and welcoming - we instantly felt right at home. We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the waves in the evening and going for walks during the day - lots of monarch butterflies in the area. Thanks for making our stay so easy and enjoyable!

The cottage was just as nice in person as in the photos. Nice roomy yard for the family of 6 and 2 dogs. Fire pit was perfect and we were able to enjoy our hammock with the mature trees on the lot. Would visit again.

My recent stay was nothing short of incredible. Beautifully kept property equipped with everything you need. The property owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend! The perfect getaway location with the beauty of Lake Huron. Couldn't ask for more

Had a relaxing time at the cottage. Everything we needed was there. Lovely large deck to relax and have morning coffee. 3 minutes to the beach. Beautiful sunsets.

A very cute little cottage with a large deck and a generous sized property with beautiful trees. The view to the field was very pretty, especially during the sunrise. The walk to the stairs and beach was less than 5 minutes. The beach is quite long and deep so it’s not lost during a storm. Sunsets were gorgeous! The people in the community were friendly and quiet. The owners are very nice and communicated well. We really enjoyed our fun and relaxing week!

Had a wonderful week here. Cottage was exactly as shown in pics and was equipped with everything that you might need. The location is excellent with beautiful sunrises and a short walk to the beach where we saw the most incredible sunsets. Village of Bayfield is quaint and lovely. Would definitely come and stay here again.

The cabin is lovely, very well appointed and supplied. The weather was a problem, due to the heat, but all of Southwestern Ontario was the same, and one can't control the weather. Certainly the air conditioning unit and the many fans helped immensely. The umbrellas in the back patio also helped, and we hung some towels from their edges, to cut the late afternoon sun, which worked very well. Some days it was hot even under dense shade from the many trees. The beach was outstanding, with the lake edge being just shallow enough not to worry about sudden drops, and deep enough to swim without going too far. Wonderful! There was a fire ban for outdoor fire-pits, but when that was lifted we enjoyed some quality time under the trees at the back. All the neighbours (many live there year round) were wonderful, and their kids very friendly. Good food shops close by, on the way to Bayfield, and Bayfield itself was charming, with many very good restaurants.

the cottage offered well thought out room and a surprisingly spacious interior. The beach access was a work out but well worth it. The sunsets lived up to the area claim of some of the most beautiful sunsets in Canada. The property offered a true cottage experience including campfires. We all enjoyed ourselves.

My family and I had a great stay at this cottage! Was a little small for us but we made due! The cottage is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach! The stairs were a pain to get to and from the beach but there was another set just down the street we found easier. Dont forget water shoes ! Overall the property was beautiful and the hosts were great and responded quickly to any of our needs!
