We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The room was very clean and big. The bed was a little too stiff, but other than that everything was perfect.

I booked a room I didn’t get and ended up with a tiny room that was completely misleading. I received no compensation. Learned my lesson. I travel a lot and never used vrbo. I won’t again.

Rooms are great for couples, close to waterfront, close to restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Rishi, front desk manager was very helpful and friendly, he assisted me and made sure all my requests were fulfilled. Check in was extremely easy, location is in a very quiet and nice place. I would recommend this place to a friend and will be returning in the future ! Thank you for everything !

I upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi bathtub and it was absolutely worth it. Very comfy king bed, very spacious room. Large mini refrigerator was very helpful for leftovers. Front desk manager was very friendly and helpful. Great location not far from downtown restaurants and the beach.

Unique & comfy! Staff was amazing! Only negative, room smelled like used to be smoking allowed.

The property was overpriced and the space was small and more a motel appearance with cheap furniture, amenities, $2 chuck for wine, very little light.

We can’t wait to get back. We celebrated our anniversary there and they went above and beyond to make it a perfect night

We had a great stay, the only real complaint I have is that the pictures online didn't match the room I thought I had reserved based on the photos. I was told they gave to someone else. So I got a room, nice room, but not the room I wanted.

The location in Pacific Grove is perfect if you want to wall to the beach near the 17 mile drive or walk to the golf course to grab brunch. We would highly recommend the Sunset Inn as my favorite place to stay in Pacific Grove. There’s extremely kind staff as well.

The property is very clean and adorable. Just a couple block walk from the beach made it easy to enjoy the sunset every evening. The staff was amazing and very helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful time together celebrating our anniversary here. The manager was so welcoming and helpful and kind. He had roses, a cheese platter and a bottle of wine in our room when we arrived. He gave us a lot of suggestions for restaurants and activities throughout the time. The room itself was clean and cared for. The beds were a bit hard and the pillows were not great but other then that, it was great. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed our time so much.

Close to everything we wanted We had fun

We stayed at the Sunset Inn from Sunday to Wednesday. The visit was fantastic with only one flaw, that being the bathroom needed some repair and the repair was performed after we checked in. We left for the day so it did not effect our visit but when we returned there were towels on the bed and the bathroom was a mess. That being said, Rishi made sure the room was completely made up and cleaned for us. Rishi was a great host and aside from the bathroom issue it was an perfect visit. We will return.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Inn. I messaged the owner the day before to ask for an early check in, was told 2PM if all went well. The day of our check-in, I messaged them at 3PM for the check in info, which I had not received yet. Owner called me at 3:50pm to tell me I could check in- I didn't realize there was a front office (not communicated). I had to give my ID and credit card upon check -in, nothing was charged. The room was spotless and we enjoyed the fireplace! Location is right near the ocean, we walked on the Asilomar grounds nearby.
