Truly amazing, steps from the beach. Everything one could ask for a restful wonderful vacation. House fully equipped! Perfect beach house. We will be back, highly recommend.

This Manasota Key property was perfect. It is very close to the Englewood beach area restaurants, and literally a 2 minute walk down the lane to a gorgeous and very private beach. The house itself was lovely, and had everything we needed.. It was very quiet and peaceful, but close to everything. We would love to come back!!

This property is absolutely amazing. We had a nice quiet Christmas getaway and this was the perfect location. The house was spaceous and very clean. Just steps from a beautiful private beach. The landscaping was very nice. Local restaurants we great. It was the perfect family trip. Rob is a gracious owner and responds quickly to emails. Very well kept property, well stocked and clean. Not beachfront technically but had a private driveway steps from the beach, it literally takes one minute of walking to get to the beach access point. Beach was empty every time. They have some beach chairs and beach toys available if you have kids. Nice hose outside to wash off your sand before coming in. Overall very happy with our local weekend getaway.

We had a very nice time at this property. Everything was clean and neat. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. We loved having the beach to ourselves!

Amazing property with all the necessary amenities. The pictures do not do it justice. Lots of space, recently updated kitchen and flooring make this the perfect house for a family of four. To top it off the private beach which is about 100 steps away and through a small path between two houses (shared with the approx 10 houses on the small road) is amazing. We may have seen 20 different people the entire week so if privacy is your thing, look no further. Rob was excellent to communicate with and was happy to quickly answer all questions. The only thing that we felt was missing were maybe some table games (we love to play games in the evening as a family) and a second beach umbrella but honestly not a neg just a nice to have. There were however plenty of beach chairs, floats and shelling/shark tooth finding tools. Overall was amazing and would absolutely go back. Our kids 13 and 17 even said they would prefer over Long boat and Siesta key after visiting those places for a day. Recommend using Allure boat rentals for any jet skiing/kayaking needs and take the time to go out in the evenings to watch for nesting turtles/recent turtle hatchlings but take bug spray. Can’t say enough good things. Thank you Rob!

This home was impeccably clean when we arrived. The location is VERY private and the beach is exactly as the description says, a few steps away. Each time we walked to the beach, there was nobody for what seemed like 1 mile in each direction. I highly recommend this home for your family of 4 and Rob was a pleasure to communicate with.

Amazing property with a wonderful host. Rob was so helpful and responded very quickly to any questions. Property was beautiful and extremely clean! The home was equipped with everything we needed from linen and beach towels, to beach chairs, cooking utensils, and an up to date kitchen. A very short walk to a beautiful, secluded beach. Definition of relaxation... Shopping about 15 minutes away. All around lovely place, and we hope to go back again soon!

We really enjoyed our relaxing family vacation in this home. The island was perfect and it was a short trip to the restaurants and bars on the island. The private beach is clean and beautiful. Lots of wildlife in the yard and the mango tree was great for fresh fruit.

Great communication with Rob the owner. The house let you feel how good life could be if you lived on the island. We loved it!’

Relaxed and lovely

What an amazing time for my husband’s 40th birthday. The owner was in communication with us perfectly and the house was spotless and ready for us to enjoy. You can hear the ocean from inside the house. It was the most relaxing, enjoyable weekend, just the two of us. The ocean is pretty much in your backyard and the restaurants around the area are superb! We definitely plan on staying again!

The live oak trees were beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the yard and taking pictures. The beach was a short walk away and completely ours except for a few other people hundreds of feet away. Was very peaceful and quite and safe place. We really enjoyed our quick get away and wish it could have been longer.

I spent a couple nights at this beautiful home with my family for a beach staycation and we were not disappointed. The house was comfortable, clean and very well equipped and the location was just a super short walk to a lovely private beach on the gulf. Robert is helpful and a pleasure to deal with! We will most definitely consider coming back if we get the opportunity!! Thanks Robert!!!!

Thanks to the owners for sharing their home. This was by far the cleanest beach house I have ever rented and we sincerely appreciated that. The beach was absolutely beautiful and we found thousands of sharks teeth. During the week we shared the beach with shore birds....no other people! Every morning we were fortunate to see many, many turtle tracks from when they came on shore overnight to lay their eggs. It was unbelievable how many turtle nests there were. The Turtle Patrol volunteers said this was a very busy year and that they could hardly keep up because of the number of nests.

This home was so cute. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. Rob even gave recommendations for spots to eat and places to see in Englewood. The home was absolutely spotless which is important to me. Just a short walk to a secluded beach with the prettiest blue/green water. The yard was lush with gnarled oaks with hanging moss, and tropical landscaping. Even though the home was not directly on the beach, the grounds were still peaceful and a nice setting. The town of Englewood was great - a true old Florida feel.

We stayed 7 wonderful nights in this comfortable house that is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood. The interior is beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings and brand new kitchen appliances. It is just a short walk down a private drive to a relaxing and quiet beach setting. Our kids, ages 8 and 12, had a great time boogie boarding in the surf, collecting shark's teeth (for making jewelry) and building sand castles. Fishing from the shore with my surf rod yielded flounder, whiting and pompano. Ideally located on a quieter portion of Manasota Key without any "commercial hustle & bustle" nearby while still being within easy driving distance (<2 mi.) to many restaurants and shops. There are plenty of beach chairs/toys provided by Rob, the owner. Rob also is great at communicating before, during (if need be) and after your trip. You will leave with some great memories!

We had a great time in this home. Beautiful kitchen, updated styling. Lovely screened in porch. The location was perfection. Private, gorgeous beach just a VERY SHORT walk to the beach via an easement open only to the street the house sits on. While area public beaches were packed along with parking shortages, our beach was secluded and perfect for long, lazy days to watch dolphins and look for shark's teeth. The neighbors we met were very friendly. There is even a gopher tortoise (Little Doris) burrowing onsite that was fun to watch for and feed hibiscus flowers to. The house is super clean and has a gas grill, beach chairs, bicycles and beach toys. There is no reason to leave when you stock up on groceries on the way to the property and at the same time, it is close to bars and restaurants if you get restless (we did not get restless, however). Thanks Rob for making your home available to rent. We will be back!!

This was a very nice house. Very clean. Just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed it very much.

This is our second straight year visiting Manasota Key. The mere fact we came back to this lovely house in the loveliest of locations tells you a lot. It is truly a paradise. Steps from the warm Gulf waters in a private enclave of homes sits a bright and airy house that takes any vacation to a whole new level. The owners are fantastic and love the house so much that they have recently renovated the kitchen to new heights. Stainless steel appliances make cooking and clean up a breeze and the new floor and furnishings are a perfect fit. Trust us, there is room for everybody. Ready for a day at the beach? All the amenities are provided for from beach chairs to towels. And, don't forget the bikes and the beautiful BBQ grill for those cozy family dinners. It is all here at Manasota Key. We were looking for a place to rest and relax for the winter, boy did we find it. The beach is quiet and has some of the best sunsets around. We are coming back next year and will stay longer. Its the neatest house on the neatest beach in Florida. The owners were just great to work with. There was all sorts of stuff to do from fishing, swimming, golfing, shopping, and of course looking for sharks teeth, but most of all I just liked walking the beach. Ed Rexroad

We stayed 5 days in Rob's house after a road-trip from Montreal with our 2 young kids. It was perfect to rest... quiet and clean place with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and nice garden. The must is the proximity to the beach... no road to cross... just 1 minute to walk and a long beach with mostly only Pelicans. The plus is that Manasota Key have good places to have coffee, drinks or diner and the stump pass beach state park is wonderful for walking, beaching and kayaking and observing birds/dolphins...
