Wow cette cabine a vraiment tout! Votre hôte Connie .. NOUVEAU TAPIS cette année. Nouvelle peinture l'année dernière.
Cette cabine est sur une propriété privée. Nous partageons la forêt avec toutes les créatures divines.
La cabine a 100 ans. Nous avons effectué des mises à niveau majeures. La Solitude n'est pas pour tout le monde, elle devient vraiment sombre. Mais mon oh mon les étoiles sortent la nuit. Les animaux grands et petits pourraient rendre visite. Vous apprécierez les ponts. La balançoire couverte dans la cour.
BBQ sur le pont. Cuisine entièrement équipée. Foyer au gaz dans la cour. Nous ne sommes pas le Marriot ou Hyatt, alors ne vous attendez pas à cela. Nous sommes cependant dans Gods Country et vous ne pouvez pas mettre un prix là-dessus.

We absolutely loved our stay here. What we appreciated most was the candid and accurate description of what to expect from the cabin. The owner’s honesty about the property's condition was refreshing, and we found it to be one of the most fun, creative, relaxing, and beautiful places we've stayed. This cabin is a rare gem and should be appreciated as such. The views of the reservoir and mountains are stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway.

In spite of my last minute reservation and VRBO process shortcomings, the host was more than accommodating from beginning to end. Much appreciated. The outside of the cabin and the location are a bit in contrast to the older and somewhat cramped interior, especially for the price at this time of season. But the only real criticism I have is the size of the restrooms and shower. Otherwise, the property is as candidly advertised by the landlord.

This rustic cabin was just what we needed for the perfect long weekend getaway! Breathtaking views from every window. Connie was the perfect Host and provided everything needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The cabin is well appointed and the grounds are impeccably manicured. We will be back!

A rustic and eclectic cabin with a magical outdoor space that we spent nearly all our time. Such close access to the reservoir and within 20 minutes of some really great hiking. We, and especially our two dogs, loved our stay. Thank you!

The location, the fenced yard, the hot tub, the kayaks, the fire pit…it’s just such a relaxing week when we come here. This is our 2nd year coming to the cabin, and we have plans to be back next year! We love that we can bring our pups and have them be a part of our end-of-summer vacation. Our girls love the upstairs bed with the twinkling lights. The host is very responsive and answered all the questions we had within minutes of texting her. Unlike some other vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, there is nothing in the kitchen besides what you need to cook with (pots, pans, utensils) and a few spices. Not an issue for us at all, but know that if you plan on cooking, you will need to bring all oils, condiments, etc. we did a grocery pickup in Pagosa on our way, but there are two little markets on the other side of the lake with some basics should you need it (most businesses around the lake are closed on Tuesdays, just FYI) Our kids also loved that there were some board games they could play with. Overall, this place has everything you need and we can’t wait to return!

This property is gorgeous, quiet and private with direct access to the water. Everything is as described. Constance was extremely helpful and communicative and we had no issues throughout the stay. Cannot beat the location! My husband and I and our two dogs had a fun, relaxing stay.

The property is ideal, with no neighbors except for a campground! It was easy to navigate to the lake to do early morning fishing and I spent my days capturing amazing photographs of hummingbirds, chipmunks and nature outside the property. We enjoyed the stars from the hot tub and boating at the lake. If you love nature but want the convenience of home away from home, it has the amenities needed!

This was our third year in a row that we have stayed in Connie and Brad's 100 year old cabin in Bayfield, Colorado at Vallecito Lake. This cabin is lake front and has an amazing sunset view. This cabin is at the head of a easy trail for biking, walking, running or just taking a stroll. The yard is beautiful, grass so soft and cool on you feet and our Chocolate lab loved it too. The cabin has every thing for cooking and grilling. New Blackstone type grill- best breakfast I ever made. Also, washer and dryer so you don't have to bring a rolling suitcase to the lake. The lake right now is full, beautiful and ready for fishing, boating or just sitting, watching and listening to the rhythm of the incoming waves. We stayed 6 nights and let me assure you that it will go by to fast, so book some time at the Cabin and reset your mind and soul.

My husband and I stayed at the property for 4 nights! We communicated with the owner before arrival. She was extremely responsive and we were actually able to check in a little early! Right when we arrived we started exploring the exterior/yard of the property which is phenomenal! Within a few hours of check in the owner texted to make sure we didn’t have any questions about the property!
There was a quaint babbling fountain, yard swing overlooking the lake, a hot tub on the deck and plenty of tables and seating options around the entire property! Decorative lights wrapped the patio and were strung from the trees for lovely outdoor evenings! We cooked on the grill and ate dinner outside every single night! It was peaceful, quiet, and secluded with a beautiful view of the lake that was just outside the back yard gate!
It cabin itself had everything we needed! The master bed is a sleep number which was very comfortable! The cabin is a great place to rest your head after a days activities of fishing and boating at the lake or golfing and shopping in Durango (about a 40 minute drive) and after spending the evening outside enjoying the yard! We will definitely be back!

Very beautiful property and well cared for! We loved being so close to the lake where the fishing was great. It was nice to be on the quiet side of the lake without very many people or traffic. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay. The area is very beautiful. We went to a restaurant/bar in the other side of the lake on a Saturday evening for good food and a live band. Great atmosphere. The only negative was the lake being very low. Let’s all work on climate change. Connie was the perfect host.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time at this little slice of paradise in the woods! You can tell they’ve put a lot of work into the outside of the property and the yard and hot tub were our favorite part! We were outside most of the time. The beds were very comfortable, and our kids loved the twinkly lights in the upstairs bedroom! Our girls also loved the kid-sized kayaks. We had so much fun kayaking alongside them in the lake. There was a small issue when we checked in, but Connie is very responsive and fixed the problem within minutes. We also loved the outdoor shower and the flashing light shower head inside - such a fun surprise!
My only recommendations for improvement would be to provide beach towels for the property that people can use down at the lake or when getting out of the hot tub - otherwise, the only option is to use your shower towel. Also, a mat by the sliding door in the kitchen is really needed. We all slipped multiple times coming in from the hot tub on the tile floor, and this would be such an easy fix to prevent anyone from getting hurt.
You can’t beat this private location with easy lake access and a trail right out the back door of the property. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

We had a blast using the canoe and going fishing, and walking the trail right off the property. There is a campground right off the property but it was very quiet and we only saw a handful of people the whole weekend. This is definitely a smaller, more rustic lake cabin and the owners are very accurate in their description. Beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed everything this property had to offer and would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful lakeside property
The most beautiful outdoor area along the lakeside! The patios, hot tub and beautiful lawn were the perfect addition to the beautiful view of the lake. The area was quiet with the prettiest walking path that runs alongside the lake. The cabin was old and rustic just as the listing states, but it was also in dire need of a deep clean indoors. The heavy use of air freshener to cover up the cabin odor was off putting. We didn’t spend much time indoors, so this wasn’t a deal breaker.

There are a lot of hikes nearby including one that’s just right out the door - beautiful. Everywhere you go is beautiful. Mountains in the distance, fairly close to Durango.. we’ll definitely come back.

Not sure where to start? Fantastic Cabin all the way around. Super Clean, Gorgeous Landscape and Awesome Views of the Lake! Loved the Spa and Gas Fire Pit. Loved all the Chipmunks and Dear! Even had a BEAR come and visit. Brad and Connie are Super Helpful! Can't wait to come back!!
