Inviting Lake Cottage with Sandy Beach and Private Marina
L'un des six chalets privés appartenant à une communauté unique ressemblant à un parc, appelée Waters Edge, sur le lac Crooked. Ce chalet récemment rénové a des tonnes de charme et est très bien entretenu. Les plafonds en poutres de pin créent une atmosphère chaleureuse et ouverte. Chalet impeccable est 4 chambres et 2 salles de bain, cuisine entièrement approvisionnée fait de ce chalet se sentir comme à la maison. Maximum de 8 personnes autorisées.
450 pieds de façade sur le lac et la moitié est une plage de sable fin. Une eau de fond peu profonde et sablonneuse constitue la meilleure et la plus sûre des baignades sur un lac tordu. Détendez-vous et détendez-vous le soir en grillant des guimauves dans l’un des nombreux puits de feu de joie.
En outre, une nouveauté en 2013 - la piste cyclable étendue Little Traverse Wheelway est accessible juste en face de notre chalet. Profitez d'une belle balade à vélo vers Petoskey ou la jolie ville d'Alanson, à seulement 3 miles au nord.

We had a great stay! The owners gave us a heads up on construction along the way, which was awesome! The cottage is beautiful and was everything and more the pictures show. We really enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed for a week with our 2 boys (ages 8 and 10) and had a great time! Very clean and well-equipped cottage that was perfect for our family. Absolutely love the beach area and how shallow the lake is for kids to play safely, and our boys enjoyed the basketball court right off the beach.
Sarah was super responsive, accommodating and helpful with recommendations in the area and fun tips! We look forward to coming back next year!

My family spent a wonderful week at this great cottage filled with sunshine, watersports, kayaking/paddleboarding, bike riding, sunsets, bonfires, beautiful sunsets, and fantastic family memories. This cottage is in a great location, had plenty of room, was clean and nicely decorated. Sarah is a fabulous host: responsive and accommodating! We would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a great get away.

This was a wonderful family cottage with a lake view in a small group of homes that included a basketball court, volleyball net, sandy well-kept beach with tables and umbrellas and a large walk-in shallow swim area. No weeds! There are 2 fire pits available on the beach and another out by the marina area. Easy to rent boats nearby for tubing. Owner supplies and delivers lily pad, kayaks, and an SUP board for a fee. Great communication and help from Sarah, the owner. There is also a marina area to park a boat. There is much to do for families in the area and some good restaurants also. The lake is clear. The sky was beautiful at night! Thanks for a fun week! We recommend for a casual and relaxing vacation.

You won't be disappointed!
My family stayed for a week in late June and had a fantastic time. The location is perfect for accessing the many local sites/activities, and the fishing was great. The host was very helpful and responsive. I definitely would recommend this to others, and hope to return there next summer!

Disappointed in lack of lake view. 6 women in their 70’s and 80’s…we were out and about during the day…hit petosky, harbor springs and Charlevoix …all very close…lazy mornings and rather boisterous card games at night…cottage had everything we needed….had a GREAT time!

We had a great week. Our family rented 4 cottages on the property. This house was set up perfectly. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the porch complete with gas grill gave us an additional room. The beach, the grounds, and the boat docks were perfect.

There's also an awesome bike trail directly across the street and excellent restaurants all near by. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We'll definitely stay again. Ty and Sarah are lovely and provided answers to all of our questions and were above and beyond gracious.

Perfect ski getaway
We stayed here for a ski weekend to Nub’s Nob with another family. We had 4 adults and 4 kids, and had plenty of space. The home is beautiful and nicely furnished, the beds are nice, the kitchen is stocked. The location is perfect, being on crooked lake, very close to Harbor Springs and Petoskey. The owner is very responsive and attentive. I’d stay here again!

Thought the beds were very comfortable! We haven’t explored northern Michigan much, and this was a great base to check out Petoskey and Harbor Springs and beyond. Did a day trip up to the UP. Highly recommend all of the nature preserves and state parks. We were here to get away and enjoy nature, and the house’s location made that easy. Only negative is that it’s close to a road, so there is some road noise. Beach was great, water nice and clear. Even though it was chilly, my kids enjoyed finding shells and dipping their toes in the water. Overall the resort property was lovely with multiple swings and a very nice view (especially in autumn) across the lake!

Prime location, peaceful beach setting
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this cozy beach cottage with quaint beach house decor. Sarah, the owner, was very helpful in sharing advice about the area. Plenty of space in the house and the resort property was perfect for our kids to keep busy with activities. The location is perfect, just a short trip to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, or Burt Lake.

This was a lovely place for our getaway. Comfy enough to stay in when it rained for 2 days, but close to bike trail to Petoskey and 12 minute drive to Harbor Springs.
Very clean and owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely rent again !

Fantastic location and beach
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The property owner has thought everything through to make it a seamless and stress free rental experience. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The location is a short drive into Petoskey and also close to Mackinaw City and the bridge. We absolutely loved the beach at the cottage. The water is shallow for a long way out into the lake with a nice sandy bottom (and was warm at the end of August!) - perfect for kids. The property owner was extremely responsive and helpful, by far the best I've experienced in my history of renting vacation properties.

Lakefront cottage getaway in N. Michigan
My family has vacationed on this property for over 40 years and still is our favorite place to visit. The updated cottage is comfortable And clean although you’ll spend most of your time outdoors enjoying the on site amenities along with the local trails, waterways, golf courses, etc. Sarah and Ty are wonderful renters and attentive to any questions or needs. Looking forward to coming back in 2021

Trail Riders
We are a group of bicycle riders and have stayed in this house twice now. It's a perfect location for us with the trail across the road. We also take a trip to Mackinac Island and take our bikes. This is a great location with lots to do in the area.

Excellent property!
We loved this rental! We had 2 families staying here with children and there was plenty of space. The bedrooms upstairs were enormous! The house was very clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable and we had all of the appliances and tools that we needed. As soon as we checked in, we felt comfortable and right at home. The proximity to a private sandy, perfect-swimming-for-kids beach area couldn’t have been better. The location was perfect- we loved being close to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac Island, and we were able to enjoy trips to all of the local areas. We absolutely had a fabulous and relaxing vacation here and can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!

We had a great time at this cottage! It's clean, super cute and stocked with almost anything you will need. The hosts are great and provide tons of recommendations for area.
The location is nice as well. It's located close to Petoskey and Harbor Springs and the state park.
The cottage area has an awesome, shallow sandy beach (great for kids), a volleyball net, basketball hoop, several bonfire pits and swings for relaxing.
We highly recommend this property and are looking forward to our stay next summer!

A+ Cottage
We have been coming to this property for years. There is plenty of room for 8 people and the cottage is always clean and homey. And, don't forget the water, sand, and even A/C! One of the best features is that it also has a private marina where you can put your boat in at the beginning of the week and take it out at the end - no moorings to deal with. It is also just minutes away from lots to do but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to truly relax! The property owner is extremely nice and easy to communicate with. In fact, she even mailed back my pillow that I forgot. Thank you for another pleasant vacation!

Amazing Property
We had a great time at the cottage. Amazing view from the balcony. The property is close to many attractions and yet not too busy. We loved the local restaurants nearby.The property was exactly as described in the listing. Our host Sarah was very prompt at answering questions and concerns. Overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend visiting this place.
