Premier étage: Une porte-fenêtre s'ouvre du salon / cuisine sur un jardin privé sur le toit avec barbecue, où vous pourrez dîner et vous détendre en été toute la journée. Il y a une kitchenette entièrement équipée avec une gamme complète d'ustensiles de cuisine, vous pouvez acheter au marché local et préparer vos propres repas gastronomiques. A côté du salon se trouve une table à manger pour cinq personnes. Le salon confortable dispose d'un canapé-lit double extrêmement confortable (Ligne Roset) et d'une vue sur la rue, avec sa sélection de livres, de CD et de DVD, c'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre après une journée de visites.
Deuxième étage: La chambre principale luxueusement meublée en faveur d'un lit king-size avec sa propre télévision couleur, une salle de bain avec lave-linge, douche, meuble vasque et WC (WC). À côté, il y a une deuxième petite chambre simple et une salle de toilette.

We had a lovely week at this property! It was beautiful and very well located in the centre of Bruges, walking distance from all the attractions. We loved the outside terrace and barbeque. We particularly appreciated the private car-parking space, as parking is very expensive in the city centre! Marc was very helpful and gave us lots of information. We had a great time cycling around the city on his bicycles! Bruges itself is a very beautiful place, with loads to do and many great restaurants and bars. We would love to come back again one day!!

Beautiful, authentic apartment. Takes you back in time with stained glass windows, wooden beams and beautiful terrace. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace hearing all of the church bells ring. Kids LOVED the apartment. Proximity to city center and belfort is incredible. I would recommend this apartment!!!

From arrival day we had great communication with Marc the owner who met us and helped us park the car in their underground complimentary garage.
Apartment was amazing , very central to the square and all attractions.
Nothing was too much trouble. Fruit , wine , local beer and chocolate provided by the owners.

We came for my wife's birthday as a surprise and we were not disappointed. Marc was super helpful and very accommodating as we had a late arrival. My 2 year old daughter loved the toys that Marc had stored. The location is perfect, and the outdoor terrace was a nice addition for the evenings. Would definitely come back.

Marc, the owner, is amazing: friendly, attentive (not intrusive). He offered to pick us up from the train station and return us to the train station. He shared critical info and mailed a packet of Brugge travel info.
This apartment is beautifully furnished with antiques, stained glass, comfy furniture, lovely books, and an assortment of beer glasses to accommodate the local beers. Lots of Brugge/day destination guide books in many languages. The decor and apartment character reflect the medieval city two floors below. As lovely as the online photos.
APARTMENT LAYOUT: On the first floor is the terrace, kitchen/dining, entry, living area (sofa, chairs,TV). Lots of natural light.Between the entry and living area is a sleeping area with comfortable futon/queen bed.There are heavy curtains to provide privacy and light block.On the 2nd floor is a bedroom.Next to the bedroom is a bathroom which opens to the hallway (toilet, sink, mirror, shower-water hot, pressure good). Within this bathroom is the combination washer/dryer.
On this 2nd floor is the powder room: 2 sinks and a large mirror. This well-lighted room is perfect for brushing teeth, drying hair, applying make-up, etc. There is no toilet or shower in this room.
Overall plenty of towels, blankets, toilet paper, etc. Also iron/board, good hair dryer, vaccum cleaner, nespresso, kettle.
EXCELLENT LOCATION. At least 3 cathedrals, restaurants, market square, groc, chocolate, all nearby. We will stay again.

Excellent penthouse apartment with lovely terrace in a great location. Love the use of the private garage for your car and so easy to get back to apartment via the walkway. We have stayed here a few times and will return again. Thank you Marc for being a lovely host, hope to see u soon.

Our stay in Bruges was amazing. The apartment was safe, clean and nicely appointed. This is one of the most beautiful VRBO rentals in which we have stayed. Marc was amazing and graciously picked us up from the train station. If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. There are several flights of steep stairs to navigate. 10/10 would recommend and we hope to return to this apartment in the future.

My husband and I stayed at Marc's lovely apartment for five nights. We were extremely satisfied with our stay there. He was a gracious host and gave us recommendations for local places to eat and visit. He was also kind enough to offer us a ride back to the train station on our last day. Our husband and I as well as my 9 yr, 11 yr and 75 yr old mother absolutely fell in love with this place. The location is perfectly walkable to groceries, the square and to everything you need. The rooftop is amazing, but the real charm is inside and with the wonderful host, Marc. He is an absolute gem and has so much great information to share about Bruge. We will absolutely stay here again for our next trip to Bruge!

The apartment is spacious and full of character. It is brilliantly situated, being extremely central but on a street that is not busy at all. The terrace was surprisingly big and we really appreciated it when the sun came out.
The owner, Marc, was very helpful and friendly, and was always easy to reach. All in all, a great spot from which to enjoy this lovely city.

An incredible apartment in a wonderful city.
We knew we were going to have a pleasant stay in Bruges even before we left our home, first from the reviews we read of the apartment, but mostly from the correspondence with Marc when we booked.
Every question you could have and every thing you need to know about your booking and getting the most of your stay in Bruges is sent to you so you can start your planning.
Upon arrival Marc greets you and helps you with your bags and gets you settled. As he takes you through everything you need to know about the apartment - you can feel the pride he has in the apartment and how beautifully considered and crafted every aspect of it is - clearly this is more than a place to rest after a day of sightseeing - you feel the apartment has as much character as the city itself and you get to be a part of it. Marc’s meticulous explanation of the apartment answers any query you might have leaving only one things left to do - get out and enjoy the city. Marc took an interest in our likes, and our kids, and made suggestions on what to see and helped curate our time in Bruges - what to see, where to eat & what beers to drink.
The apartment is packed full of character, textures, layers of craft and beautifully appointed features. The sun drenched deck is a lovely feature which affords you views of 4 cathedrals and the Bruges skyline whilst being serenaded by the soundtrack of Marc’s soulful songbirds in the aviary below. Apartment is ideally situated.

We come to Bruges very often and have rented many nice apartments, but the Romantisches Penthouse is the best of all. Ideal location, couldn't be better! The apartment is very clean and comfortable with a great design. Everything here is made with excellent taste and love. The kitchen has everything for cooking. Very nice bathroom. Wonderful bedroom and living and dining area.
The apartment is just perfect. Registration was very easy and quick.
The owner of the penthouse, Marc, is very responsive and kind, we were glad to meet him.
We had the best experience staying at the apartment and look forward to staying here again on our next trips to Bruges.

Marc is a wonderful host and very attentive to detail. The apartment was very comfortable and quite spacious and in an excellent location - within minutes of the main square. He even hung the US flag outside of the building for his American visitors. Lots of restaurants and a supermarket within a few minutes walk. Highly recommend this property for a visit to this beautiful city.

Marc the host met us ( family from UK 2 adults a d 2 children 9 & 11) personally on check-in and he gave us a warm welcome despite it being late in the evening.
The penthouse was lovely, very charming in it's traditional decor and extremely clean ... it had everything we could have needed for the stay plus much more such as some lovely chocolates, bowl of fresh fruit, beers, water a d juice for the children.
The terrace was large and lovely to eat breakfast and lunch on and a lovely view of 4 church spires including the Belfry, being amongst the roofs of Bruges felt special and authentic. Popping back to the apartment was no problem as it was so central but also quiet even on a busy weekend.
The underground parking was easy and a great addition for which we were very grateful for and Marc also helped with our car problem.
We used Marc's bikes, our 9 year old loved the tandem bike and we had a great day exploring the city to get a different perspective on Bruges.
We would would happily stay here again.

Marc was a lovely host, offering to pick us up from the station and drop us back again, providing welcome beers, fruit and chocolate and generally being very helpful. We had a 4 month old baby with us and he provided a changing mat, cot, baby seat, and even a car seat for the car. It’s very easy to see why he’s received so many good reviews! The location of the property is perfect too - everything is within walking distance as it’s so central.

What a tremendous place and host! You will not find a better location or rental anywhere and Marc was the most friendly and helpful host we have ever had. This lodging is a 2-3 minute walk from the Markt and Belfort but in a very quiet area. The unit itself is beautiful. Also has a terrace with views of several landmarks - the weather didn't really allow us to take full advantage. We give this place the highest possible recommendation.

We had a brilliant trip and the penthouse is everything that you could want - perfect location (with parking!) and so well equipped, comfortable and cosy. This was the VERY Best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Stunningly beautiful historic restoration with decorated and furnished beautifully. Marc the host was incredible… he spent a full half hour checking us in and showing us on the map all the places we wanted to see. He had fresh fruit , Belgian beer and chocolate for us. We stayed in January so we didn’t use the roof terrace but it too was amazing.

The apartment is well equipped, cosy and in a fantastic location right in the heart of Bruges. The parking is so convenient and Marc, the host, could not have been more helpful. A lovely welcome package of beers, chocolate and fruit......very thoughtful. The bicycles were appreciated by the younger members of our party who used them. We had a fantastic stay at Marc's apartment, the set up was perfect for visiting Bruges with friends and our 2 year old. Marc was amazing throughout, with recommendations before we arrived and providing toys for our son when he arrived. The space felt just like home and was in a brilliantly central spot to explore the city from on foot.
Having access to a parking spot made the journey easy. We love the city and couldn't imagine a better place to stay, we look forward to coming back again in future!

First - the host - Mr. Marc - I cannot say enough about his hospitality and kindness. A true gentleman. Marc met us at the train station, transported us to the property, and gave us a thorough tour. There was fresh fruit and some lovely beer waiting for us. Further, when we had a small need, Marc and his wife responded in the most generous way.
Next - the property. It is even better than the pictures! It is warm and lovely, and very spacious. The patio is magic.
Last - the location. In my view, the location is ideal. It is a very short walk to the city center, and to many of the more interesting sights, Belgian beer bars, and nice restaurants.

We loved the penthouse! It has so much character, lots of space, and was very relaxing after a day of exploring Bruges. Marc, our host, is kind and gracious, and gave us a lot of information about Bruges, not to mention a bowl of fruit and some beer. He even picked us up from the train station and brought us back at the end of our stay. Truly a top host! I would love to stay here again.

We lucked out with this accommodation. Marc, the host was above and beyond phenomenal. He picked us up from the train station, and helped carry our baggage on foot through the city to another hotel when we checked out. Whatever we could’ve thought to need was provided, guide books, maps, bicycles. We appreciated having the ability to do laundry on site, which saved us room packing. Also utilized the kitchen and cooked a few meals in to save money. The unique layout, stained glass windows, antique furniture, and modern lofted hallway were absolutely gorgeous. The views in any direction from the patio were stunning. You can see the Belfry from the patio. Speaking of the Belfry, you’re conveniently located about a block-and-a-half off The Markt, the main square and central hub of the city. 100% would recommend, and would stay again!

Property was so central of everything in Bruges, was very spacious and full of character. Hosts were incredibly helpful. We loved this stay and hope to be back in future!

This property is excellent and Marc is a fantastic host who I cannot recommend highly enough. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possible need, including the spacious garage and the location in the centre of Bruges was perfect. It was hotter than expected for the time of year but there were plenty of high quality fans to help keep us cool. We like to visit Bruges regularly and this will definitely be our preferred destination.

We had a wonderful time staying at Marc’s penthouse apartment in Bruges! There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids aged 13, 14 & 17) and we couldn’t had asked for a better place to stay, it was perfect! I was skeptical about whether the reviews were too good to be true, but am happy to report that the apartment (and Marc as well!) definitely deserves its 5 star status. We couldn’t have asked for a better location, it was just a short stroll to the main square which meant we spent a lot more time in the middle of the city (especially when it was quieter in the evenings) because it was so close.
The parking spot was invaluable! It meant that we could do several side trips and not have to worry about finding parking for the car.
Marc was so friendly and went out of his way to give us information about the city (even sending brochures all the way to Australia). Nothing went wrong while we were there, but I knew that he wasn’t far in the event we needed some help.
We will always have wonderful memories of our time in Bruges, especially playing cards on the deck overlooking all the beautiful buildings until the sun set at 10:30pm. I hope to one day come back to Bruges and stay in Marc’s amazing apartment

Marc has done a beautiful job on this apartment! It is a cozy spot in the center for Bruges. The decorating was absolutely beautiful and comfortably fit three adults and two kids! Marc even left us with some local beer and chocolate that was delicious. He offered many insights into where to visit and what to see. We would rate this beyond five stars! We look forward to returning!

My wife, daughter, and I stayed in three VRBOs in three cities during our Europe trip, and this one was by far our favorite. The penthouse is beautiful inside and well furnished. It has modern conveniences while feeling very classic. It's spacious and has a really nice back deck to lounge, have a beer, look at the skyline, and listen to the sounds of the village.
Marc was a wonderful host. He insisted on hauling our very heavy bags up three flights of stairs by himself. He spent a lot of time going over the features of the apartment, talking about things to do in town, and reviewing Belgian beers. He had a selection of three different Belgian beers in the fridge with the appropriate glass set out for each.
Europe is in another summer heatwave and like most residences in Bruges this apartment does not have AC. But Marc provided multiple fans as well as plug-in mosquito repellent devices to help us be comfortable. With these we were able to cool down the house quite a bit at bed time and sleep comfortably.
The apartment is steps away from the main square and you can walk from it to anything you want to see in town. I highly recommend Marc's penthouse.

Great location well setup and most of all - a great host. Marc met us at the Rail Station, explained the main attractions of Bruges.

Marc is a wonderful host. He offered to pick us up and drop us off at the train station and once we experienced some of the Bruge bus system we understood his gracious offer. He has obviously been doing this for some time as the place was fully equipped and his welcome was a big relief after a long travel day. The accommodation is centrally located to the main square, it is oozing with character and atmosphere and is a unique home away from home with a large bedroom upstairs, king size bed and bathroom. The downstairs is one large living dining and kitchen with a rooftop deck to enjoy. We can't say enough about how wonderful the home is, and how Marc seemed to know exactly what we would need. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unusual, but comfortable place in Bruges.

The accommodation is a beautiful rooftop apartment with a terrace. It is well situated in the heart of Bruges.
Everything we required was in the apartment and Marc was very accommodating.

The apartment is in a wonderful location very near to the Market but also very quiet. Bruges is very beautiful, this our 4th visit. We enjoyed a tour of the De Halve Maan brewery and a trip to Ypres. There are many places to enjoy a drink and food. I can recommend Jerrys Cigar Bar for a coffee and beer. Its a quiet oasis in the centre.
