Moonglade Cottage 2 Bed/1BTH - charming waterfront 2 miles from the village
Le charme du Moonglade Cottage séduit les familles et les invités d'été depuis 40 ans. L'emplacement, les commodités et la beauté naturelle des environs sont ce qui fait que ces clients reviennent année après année.
Situé sur la rive est de la baie de Suttons, Moonglade possède des couchers de soleil spectaculaires encadrés par les bouleaux jumeaux du pont de la chambre principale. Le porche grillagé avec des meubles en osier antique vous attend à la fin des jours pour vous détendre ou simplement entendre les eaux bleues immaculées de Suttons Bay sur la plage. Le porche est un endroit idéal pour faire une sieste ou tout simplement lire un grand livre pendant que le soleil de midi plane devant. Le chalet est équipé de tous les planchers de bois ou de carreaux (sans tapis), d'une salle de bain en granit / carrelage, d'une cuisine compacte mais efficace avec tous les appareils électroménagers et d'un lave-vaisselle Fisher / Paykel, de 2 chambres (lit queen et double / superposés), 2 téléviseurs à écran plat et toutes les commodités de la maison.
L'ambiance du village de Suttons Bay se trouve à seulement 3 km. Hôte de restaurants primés, de galeries d'art et de boutiques, Suttons Bay est un autre rappel constant des raisons pour lesquelles les clients se rendent dans le comté de Leelanau.
Le cœur du nord-ouest du Michigan est Traverse City, situé à seulement 15 minutes avec des restaurants, des boutiques et des divertissements de classe mondiale au Interlochen Center for the Arts ou au Dennos Center à proximité. Assurez-vous de profiter de tout cela!
Il n'y a PAS DE QUAI en raison des faibles niveaux d'eau. La natation est toujours géniale mais vous devez marcher assez loin pour atteindre la taille en profondeur.

We loved our second stay at Moonglade Cottage. It is a beautiful, clean little cottage. The view of the sunset is amazing and love the screened in porch to read on for those rainy days. My husband and I always have a wonderful time here and the owner is quick to communicate if anything is needed.

My husband and I stayed here for a week—such a relaxing and special place. The views of Suttons Bay are absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the screened porch and sunsets and surrounding towns. The cottage is compact but very comfortable! Furnishings are perfect and everything was pleasant. Thanks for an amazing time!

The cottage is cute and right on the bay. Take stairs down to the retaining wall patio and dock. We loved that there was no sand to get off our feet!! Very peaceful this time of year (before school is out). Perfect place for us to enjoy some R&R between family wedding activities. Enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Sutton Bay's Moonglade Cottage provided an idyllic waterfront sanctuary for a three-night birthday celebration. This tranquil haven is as close to the water as one can hope for, offering the ultimate calm experience. The cottage is equipped with a fire pit, generously stocked with wood, and a charming three-season room that invites you to curl up with a book. The private dock reaches invitingly into the crystal-clear waters, complete with steps that ease you into the lake for a refreshing dip. Inside, the two-bedroom abode features a well-appointed kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker—a significant hit with my partner.
The quaint size of the cottage strikes a harmonious balance between comfort and encouragement to explore the picturesque surroundings. It's snug enough to provide a warm retreat after venturing into the bustling Traverse City or exploring the quaint downtown of Sutton Bay, yet it naturally nudges guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors. Our four-legged companion, Ghost, relished in the local walking trails and was notably reluctant to return to his usual city apartment life after such an invigorating escape. Our adventures even included a trek from the cottage to downtown and back, a testament to the cottage's invitation to enjoy the surrounding nature.
Taking advantage of the owner-provided kayaks, I enjoyed a tranquil paddle on the lake, further enhancing our serene weekend getaway.

This is our second visit, and we couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time! The beautiful cottage, views of Sutton’s Bay, and our wonderful host made this another memorable trip to Sutton’s Bay! North Country Kitchen and Bar in Sutton’s Bay, the beach in Leland, 45 North Winery, Blackstar Farms, Grand Traverse Lighthouse, and Sutton’s Bay Ciders were just a few of our favorite places to visit while we were here. Thank you again, Tom, for being such a good host. We look forward to visiting again!

Stayed for two nights. The property was clean and updated. On the smaller size but didn't feel that way because it was nice and bright. The views were amazing of the water. We enjoyed sitting down by the dock at night & enjoyed a fire. Would book again in the summer months

This place is a real gem! My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. The place was decorated beautifully, the view was spectacular, communication with the host was easy and informative. The host even left us a lovely surprise in the refrigerator - a chilled bottle of wine! My husband and I look forward to renting with him again. Thank you for a lovely time.

This was our first stay at the Moonglade Cottage, we will definitely be back! The property has all of the modern amenities you could ever need, while maintaining it's quaint, cottage feel. Communication with the host was second to none. Overall, we would definitely recommend Moonglade to anyone that is interested.

The house is very clean and recently remodeled. The kitchen had everything we needed— including both a Keurig and a traditional coffee pot. The shower looks new and is spotless. There are two bedrooms; one offers an amazing view of Suttons Bay, while the other overlooks the street. However, instead of facing other homes, it offers a tranquil view of an orchard.
The water is clear, warm, and shallow enough to stay in all day. It resembles Caribbean waters and features a soft, sandy bottom. This is, by far, the nicest water and sand off a dock I have ever experienced.
Tom is also an excellent host. He ensured our smooth check-in and check-out and even gifted us a complimentary bottle of wine! I would highly recommend this cottage over any other in the area!

My partner, son, dog and I stayed here for 4 days and my only wish is that we could’ve stayed longer. House is awesome, clean, and has high end features in the kitchen if you want to cook. Thomas was a great host and very helpful! The water is as clear as can be and my dog enjoyed jumping off the dock over and over and over again.

We had a great visit at the Moonglade. So close to Suttons Bay. A wintertime view of the Bay and would love to see it in the Summertime. Wonderful kitchen and bathroom finishes and comfortable beds! Tom was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.

Tom was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with beautiful views . Our boys loved fishing and kayaking off the dock. The cottage was very clean and nicely updated. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Our stay was fantastic! Tom was a wonderful host and left us a bottle of wine in the refrigerator for celebrating our 30th Anniversary,which was a very thoughtful touch. The cottage was very well appointed, it was so helpful to have things like cooking spray and sale and pepper for making a quick meal. the bathroom also had anything you would need and we felt like everything was thought of to make our stay a great one. The neighborhood was so quiet and close to everything, including the cute town with charming shops. We will definitely keep this cottage in mind if we return to Sutton's Bay, which was also breathtaking!

Moonglade Cottage was charming and cozy, clean and uncluttered. I thought the sq ft sounded small, but the space is well thought out and well appointed, perfect for my husband and I and our dog. The old charm of the place manages to come through the neat newer improvements. Nice spaces for enjoying the outside. Exceeded our expectations.

Our stay at this cottage was 100% positive. Everything is so clean and tidy. The kitchen & bathroom have been renovated and are quite pleasant. The many windows in the front room create a wonderful ambience and great view of Lake Michigan. We loved sitting on the back porch and watching the waves. The bedroom we slept in has glass sliding doors that lead to a private porch - sweet. The neighborhood is quite lovely and the location is close to town. The owner of the property is very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a second.

Cute cottage just a short distance from downtown Suttons Bay. Beautiful view of the bay. Very clean and good communication from the host. You can tell that this cottage is well taken care of. No maintenance issues and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
