Nous avons complètement rénové cette maison de 2 étages. Nous avons essayé de penser à tout pour accueillir quelques adultes jusqu’à une famille élargie ou à un grand groupe d’amis. Que vous soyez suspendu au bord de la piscine, en vous promenant le long des rives d’Emerson Point, au golf, en direction de la plage ou en pêchant, votre maison Snead Island Getaway est bien située.

La truite de mer, le snook, le sébaste, le tambour, la coccinelle, la tête de mouton, le poisson-chat d'eau salée sont abondants. Nous avons des cannes à pêche et du matériel de base que vous pourrez utiliser si vous n’apportez pas le vôtre. Le magasin d'appâts est à 5 pâtés de maisons!
Vous cherchez la plage? Si vous apportez votre bateau, vous pourrez l'emmener plus vite à l'île Anna Maria que vous pourrez conduire une voiture ... à environ 5 miles de la baie de Terra Ceia. Sinon, prenez la voiture ... c'est seulement 6-7 miles, mais prend environ 20-25 minutes. OU ... juste sur la pointe de l'île Snead (Emerson Point Preserve) ... à 15 minutes à pied ou à 2 minutes en voiture, se trouve une petite plage située à la jonction de la rivière Manatee, de la baie de Terra Ceia et de la baie de Tampa. Il n'y a pas de vagues déferlantes comme les plages voisines, mais l'eau est claire, le sable blanc, et c'est un endroit idéal pour emmener les petits enfants où vous pourrez les surveiller pendant qu'ils jouent dans l'eau. Les salles de bain sont là et des endroits pour un pique-nique.

Nous avons des frais de 150 $ par séjour si vous souhaitez chauffer le foyer et la piscine / spa (ils utilisent tous du propane coûteux). Frais d'invité supplémentaire de 25 $ / nuit pour le nombre d'invités de plus de 8. Il y a plus d'usure, plus de nettoyage, des factures d'électricité plus élevées, et la vue du nettoyage ne peut souvent pas terminer le nettoyage des serviettes et du linge de maison avant l'arrivée du prochain client le même jour, ce qui l'oblige à le retirer des lieux. Pour ceux qui restent plus d'une semaine, veuillez noter que le site n'autorise pas un réglage "par semaine" pour les frais de spa / foyer. C'est seulement "par séjour". Snead Island Getaway was a perfect home to spend our vacation to Florida in with the family. The home offered all possible needed amenities and more! There was something for everyone to do from the pool and fishing off the pier to indoor activities like the pool table and games. I would highly recommend this property for you next visit to the coast!

This house has absolutely everything you could possibly want, Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand, toys, kayaks, bicycles, Ping-pong table, pool table, dart board, Cornhole! The pool and hot tub was amazing! We rented the boat and had a blast! Great communication with host, easy check-in and checkout!

Absolutely everything you could ever hope for in a rental! Of all the amenities listed the only thing that did not work during our stay was the outdoor fire pit. They have every cooking up rice that you could ever hope for. The double kitchen and the double sets of washer and dryer certainly came in helpful with our large group and family. We only asked our post for one thing the entire time, but she replied very quick and prompt back to us.

Had a great, relaxing stay. We enjoyed the pool, spa, and boat! The location is safe, private, and quiet. Manatees swam right up to the dock!
The host is very easy to communicate with, very quick to reply, and more than willing to help with questions.
There were 3 adults and 3 teen girls, and we had more than enough space.
Can’t wait to come back and visit again.

The house was great! It was just as advertised. We loved that it had everything we needed for cooking including spices. There were plenty of extra supplies such as garbage bags and toilet paper. The showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap even! We enjoyed the outdoor area a lot. We caught a couple small fish and quite a few lures. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions and very friendly. The house is a short easy drive to lots. Thanks for a great vacation.

Everything was just perfect. The home is beautifully updated and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved that it was fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, from shower essentials to beach necessities to kitchen and laundry needs. We greatly enjoyed the bikes available and the short ride to Emerson Point. The trails were flat, gorgeous and easy to ride on. Our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) had lots of room and had a wonderful vacation.

The grandkids, our adult children, and my wife and I really enjoyed staying at this property. There is so many things to do at this home that we really didn’t leave to go anywhere but a nearby nature preserve and beach. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property for families with children

This is a nicely renovated home with plenty of room for our whole family. It’s a peaceful yard and we even saw a dolphin in the canal. It’s centrally located to the more touristy island like Ana Maria and Treasure Island. You can visit for the day and then return to Snead Island quieter pace. Jamie was incredibly quick to respond to questions and easy to communicate with. A thumbs up for our whole crew!

Our family of 11 adults and 1 1y/o enjoyed our getaway week on Snead Island. The VRBO met our needs. We had a couple of issues that the host was responsive to. Overall the house was clean with adequate beds, baths, and kitchen supplies. We are a nature loving family and enjoyed Emerson Pointe Preserve on the island as well as Robinson Preserve and the Manatee Viewing Center (40 mins drive). We took advantage of the property's 2 kayaks, some of the games and as the weather was a bit chilly, only the brave ventured into the pool. The Hot tub was a big hit and very warm/hot and had a great view of the winter stars!

This is a great space for all ages. Simplifies the work for you with fridge upstairs and down stairs as well as two sets of laundry W/D. Most of all stunning views and so many games to play, activities nearby. Very pleasant and helpful homeowner/ host. We caught 3 or 4 kinds of fish. Now my guys are hooked. Enjoy!

We had a great time and had everything we needed. Location was perfect. We found end of November had perfect weather. We rented the boat for a few days and that was a great experience. Fishing was good and they had everything you needed to throw a line in right off the deck. We definitely want to stay again. Jamie was great to work with!

Our overall experience was incredible! Jamie has such an attention to detail at his home. He creates a full service experience and has everything that you could ever want… Games, kayaks, bikes, pool, hot tub, darts, corn hole, and the rental boat. We hired a driver to take us out on the boat that he recommended and he did a fabulous job of entertaining our group. My girlfriends and I loved everything about our trip and I highly recommend this VRBO! We are already planning our next trip to the Snead Island Getaway.

Our family truly enjoyed the property. The owners thought of everything and ensured that you had everything needed to have a great time.
If you are looking for a great home with fantastic, comfortable bedding this is the place! We have rented at least a dozen homes and this place absolutely is the highest rated for bedding!
There were ample rooms, a great kitchen with plenty of everything you need to host a large group.
The wife and girls loved the toiletries! The soaps, conditioners and shampoo were a luxury! Thanks for the abundance of towels and well stocked kitchen.
The only issue (and it is a small one) we recommend that the air ducts be cleaned. Outside of that, we loved the pool, dock and next time we will take advantage of the boat rental and all the amenities.
For those that are staying there, be sure to hit 10th street Coffee and the Italian restaurant about a mile away off 10th. The pizza was a big hit!
We made use of the outdoor bar and the upper sun room! Great place for a family gathering.
Overall one of the best rentals we have stayed at and when we return to the area we will look to stay there again.

Plenty of room and the game room the kids loved. The kitchen was great but could use a food pantry. No real place to put groceries. Also the overhead kitchen lights did not work so we made do with the over sink light. There was no manual available as to how to operate the TVs. My hi tech son in law even said it was a pain in the ass. Very convenient having a downstairs kitchen and the pool and hot tub were great. The dock was not real convenient for getting on and off the boat but we made do and a longer regular hose would have really helped to rinse the boat after fishing. Need to fix the lock on the downstairs left side sliding glass door. It needs spacers so it locks. If you didn't play with it you would think it's locked but it wasn't. Another recommendation would be to get rid of the sea shells around the pool and use pavers or grass. A non slip runner on the inside stairs would really help the dogs. We all really like the house and stay and just wanted to make some recommendations that would really enhance the house. Oh yes ,the beds were GREAT and rooms cool. Slept like a baby. This was a new area for our yearly stay (14 years now) and liked it a lot.

This home was amazing for our family of 9! The outdoors with a beautiful pool and dock on the canal were the highlight. We just about lived out there. The fire pit was such an added treat! The home was well stocked with everything you could imagine and more. The beds were very comfortable - a big deal for us! If you go, you'll want to return! What a paradise!

The location is ideal in that it is very quiet and away from the busyness of other locales off of the island. Jamie was great to work with throughout the whole process. Great place for a family to gather. The house was clean and kitchen well equipped. Plenty of space for our group of 12. The pool was good size for all of us to enjoy. Watched manatees and caught fish off the dock. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay there again.

This was the perfect spot for our family getaway. My husband, myself, our 10 yr old son, 7 year old daughter, 29 year old daughter and her husband had plenty of space and privacy. The pool is even bigger than the pictures make it look. The hot tub was nice and hot. We also got to see dolphins on 2 separate days right off of the dock while my son was fishing. My favorite room is the dining room that has huge windows looking out over the canal. The view was amazing. The pool table was a huge hit with everyone. Jaime was so quick to respond to any requests and is so nice and accommodating. We will 100% rent here again!! Love love love this place!

This place was even better than I thought. We had so much fun. All furniture was so comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. Great location as well. My husband celebrated his 70th birthday with family and friends and it was such a great time. Can’t recommend it enough! Don’t hesitate to book here you will love it. We often rent for holiday family reunions and bring our fur babies. This property was one of the best we have stayed at. There are so many amenities just as described. Jamie even had a Christmas tree with lights set up so we brought our family ornaments and decorated the tree.
It was unusually cold and windy during our stay (coldest in 30 years the news reported) so we did not spend as much time outside as we normally would. We did use the hot tub and fire pit area. We had fun watching holiday movies on the huge tv and playing pool downstairs in the game room. We also walked the trails at the nearby preserve, which were dog friendly. The view of the waterway from the house was great. We could see the pelicans, blue herons and egrets fishing. The neighborhood was very nice with many holiday decorated golf carts out and about.
The house is very well stocked with generous quantities of the basic kitchen and bathroom essentials. We took advantage of the pizza oven and created homemade pizzas - what fun and tasty too.
We are happy to recommend this property and plan to return ourselves. 🎄

We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday with family and the kids and where we blown away with this awesome property. Not only what is the area on the house beautiful but there were so many extras within the house that just made the time super special. Our families enjoyed all of the selection of the board games that were available and also all of the spices and oil and things you would except to be in you kitchen at home was at this house. It made cooking for everyone a breeze. We had so much fun and definitely will be rebooking in the future for sure.

We rented this awesome property for family and friends to stay to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. The house and grounds are spacious, comfortable and perfect for a group! Lots of activities from the amazing pool and spa to a wonderfully outfitted game room kept everyone active and together throughout the week. We loved watching the kingfishers, osprey and pelicans fishing in the waterway….and were delighted to have a manatee visit one morning as well!
Jamie is a wonderful host, making sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay. We would definately rent this property again!!

This property is absolutely amazing. I did not have to pack anything special for my daughter as this home had everything we needed. It was so nice getting into a clean house after a long day of travel. The location was perfect for everything we wanted, close shopping, beaches no more than an hour away, dining out, it has everything. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit for all of us. It was used everyday and all day!!! We will go back very soon!!!
