Location was amazing, just off the highway yet in a quite neighborhood. Perfect for anyone travelling around the island. Property was amazing and spacious. Appliances were all easy to use. Very clean and welcoming inside.

This was everything and more you could have wanted for accommodation for a most enjoyable holiday. Very comfortable, clean and quiet.

Big suite with lots of light. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable walking distance to the grocery store. It had everything we needed for our stay in Nanaimo. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in town.

The accommodations were second to none. Everything you'd want for comfort and convenience. Being in a residential area it was quiet and allows one to decompress. It is also convenient to any basic needs for groceries or take out food or other items one might need if forgotten in the packing process when travelling. Angelo was very friendly and helpful. The directions provided were accurate and of help. If ever I am visiting the area again I intend to be a repeat customer. Thank you Angelo for making my stay in the middle island a pleasant and memorable one! Bravo Zulu!

We have stayed at this location several times and are always happy with it. We hope to stay again on our next visit to the Nanaimo area.

Really enjoyed our VRBO. Clean, spacious, bright. Keurig coffee machine, toaster oven microwave, full stove/oven, USB charging station. Shower, tub. Washer/dryer (stacked). Didn’t use stove, but all other appliances worked well. It’s a “carriage house” so there are several steps to door. Easy to get in and lock up. Would have preferred unscented products (e.g. bed linens “perfumed”) I didn’t care for this, but it could affect other people more if they have allergies. No garlic press or vegetable scrubber that I could find, but kitchen pretty well fitted out. Wi-fi good, entertainment system (TV) worked well. Heat pump/electric baseboard heaters worked well.

Angelo does it all right. His place is set up with everything you need for a long or short stay. So thoughtful! And Angelo himself is one of the nicest, most hospitable people I've ever met. My sister recommended Angelo's place in the same terms and even with these high expectations, Angelo managed to outdo them. Thank you from my son and I!!!

This was my second time staying here. Great location, easy check-in, host is very friendly and available if needed. Its a full suite with all the amentias. I will stay here again!.

My husband and I stayed for the week and had a great experience. The property was clean, comfortable, and just as pictured. It was conveniently located near our medical appointments. We had a great stay there and would book again!

This Carriage House is a very well-equipped suite with lots of sunlight which is situated approx.15 steps above the garage in a nice residential area and quiet neighborhood in N. Nanaimo approx. 10 minutes from the Departure Bay Ferry & Downtown Nanaimo. The suite is new and is very tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. The suite is very clean and immaculate and the kitchen is well-equipped with all modern amenities and cupboards are stocked with many extras. Modern bathroom/ shower with lots of towels and a stacking washer and dryer which was really nice to have on our week long stay. The home is close to many shops and restaurants in the area. The hosts live next door and are very friendly and easy to talk to and if there was anything you needed, Angelo was a text or phone-call away! We stayed here for a week we really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House! Nanaimo has lots to offer - beautiful beaches & parks. We explored the towns, beaches & parks north to Qualicum Beach & Coombs (Old Country Market - Goats on the Roof!), and south to Duncan and Maple Bay. Our favorite places to eat was the Longhorn Brew Pub & the Crow & Gate English Pub in Nanaimo. Best Parks, Beaches & Trails: Piper’s Lagoon Park & Neck Point Park. Thank-you so much to our hosts Angelo & Michele for their kindness and warming hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable! We had previously stayed here so knew the benefits of the location and the layout of the unit. Impressed that the feedback previously provided was addressed with much improved kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, etc. Loved the laundry in-unit too. Will definitely stay again!

very comfortable space for our stay in Nanaimo - but wish we had known that there were so many stairs... our family members could not visit us at the suite as they could not climb the stairs. A ramp would have been much appreciated.

I have been to many hotels, Vrbo homes etc. Angelo and his amazing coach house is one of the best experiences I’ve had, if not the best. He has all of your need anticipated and provided. I cannot be happier. Money well spent :)

This property was above what we expected! Clean, close to the ferries and stores. Come and go as we please. We had a little issue with the door code when we first arrived, but this was resolved immediately.

Very clean and with a central location, this rental was perfect. Very helpful and pleasant host. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

The only misleading thing about the ad is the pictures were taken in the evening, the unit is SO bright and beautiful, tons of natural light, very modern. We loved it. Comfy bed and bedding. The host had SO many brochures and magazines giving ideas of things to do. Super great location, very quiet and safe. Will absolutely stay here again. I recommend 10/10

What a great spot. Even though the pictures were accurate it hits you when you walk in. I don’t think I will stay in a hotel again if this place is available. Everything was great!
