The property was clean and very, very comfortable. Rooms were adequate for three of the four couples staying. The one room that was a minor challenge was a room that appeared to be child friendly. Great kitchen, adequate eating area and social common areas. Surrounding property grounds afforded able space for outdoor activities. Location to Sturbridge and western Massachusetts and surrounding states was a definite advantage.

We enjoyed our stay and will be returning in 2023! We arrived to find a welcoming arrangement of food and beverages, an example of how thoughtful our hosts were. They had anticipated our needs and made us feel at home. They were responsive to all the minor issues that can arise during a month's occupancy. Decoration included carefully selected and interesting artworks. Lighting throughout the house was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped with gas stove and large refrigerator. The dining room opens on a patio with gas grill. The first floor also included a large master suite and spacious walk-in closet. The 2nd floor is set up with both private and common areas so multiple families can use it. We had both our children's families with us for part of the time and the house accommodated all. There are toys for children. The garage opens to the kitchen and provided protected entry during rain. Central heat and a/c was excellent. The location, just south of Stockbridge, is excellent but renters should be aware that while the house is on a side road and visually isolated from nearby route 7, traffic noise is audible on the grounds around the house. This was clearly not a deal breaker for us; as we said, we will be returning and anticipate another great vacation in 2023.

Great house for a large group and central location for exploring the Berkshires.

This was in a great location within a short walk to downtown Stockbridge. The owner was very helpful, everything worked, and it was a house with plenty of space for our group of 5. Thanks Teva!

House was in prime location for our event. Two master suites were perfect for older adults and other bedrooms were great for younger crowd. Grounds were nice though we did not have time to use them. Kitchen had all we needed. Decks were nice in mornings when not too hot.

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing home and property. The house is big with lots of sitting areas. The kitchen is well stocked and ready for family meals. The property is immense with great outdoor spaces. Will definitely book again when we find ourselves in the area for family events.

The house was extremely accommodating. We were a family group of 8 - 5 adults, 3 children - and we had more than enough living space. There are plenty of places for privacy as well as space to all interact together. Numerous windows are one of the best features of the house along with the open layout. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. Lovely grounds for outside enjoyment. Easy drive to Great Barrington.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean, the bedrooms were all large, and the house was fully stocked. Stockbridge is walkable, and the other towns are 5 to 10 minutes away. We enjoyed using the fire pit and exploring the property. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful long weekend. The location was amazing, blocks from downtown Stockbridge. The property and grounds were so lovely. We had plenty of room and the house was well stocked. The property was amazing. We had lots of long walks and s’mores at the fire pit. The owner was EXTREMELY accommodating and accessible. Can’t wait to go back to the house again!

This was the perfect property for our group - spacious, well-kept, beautiful surroundings, easy access to everything, and the most well stocked kitchen that we have seen in all of our stays! There were even a bunch of goodies that were left for us - such a nice touch. All of the communication with Teva was flawless. We would definitely stay here again!

Extremely helpful and responsive owners-checked in ever day to see if we needed anything. Left snacks and beverages to get us started. Layout was perfect for group- ample sitting and common areas. Bright with wood floors throughout. Very private from neighbors.

Great getaway for a family reunion. 1/2 mile from town. Private, expansive backyard. Very well furnished. We were greeted with kitchen provisions - fruit, snacks, coffee, etc. felt very welcomed.

The house and grounds are really beautiful. There is a ton to do just on the property itself - with exploring the woods, the river, and yard. The house was spacious and well-equipped. The house is centrally located - with many major Berkshires towns just a short drive away. My family truly enjoyed our time here.

This home exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and convenient to everything! Easy walk to town for a coffee or quick 10 minute drive to the ski mountain. The property is a hidden gem, with hours worth of outdoor exploration for our children. They think of everything, so just pack your clothes. The owners were an absolute pleasure, we were so sad to leave but I can assure you we will return!

Indoors, we could not hear it at all.The grounds on the property are expansive and the kids had a blast exploring all around (yet, the parents felt safe because they were contained and never 'too far'). We particularly enjoyed the fire pit, the hammock and the side deck seating. The inside of the home is beautiful - architecturally interesting and provides plenty of room for everyone. As others have noted, the welcome goodies were top-notch! The extra touches like that, the speakers, plentiful supplies of bedding/towels/household items made the stay super easy for us and meant less to pack.This was our first time to the Berkshires and it did not disappoint. I'm so happy we picked a home that was in such close proximity to all the local destinations (truly in the middle of everything). We highly recommend saying hi to the happy cows and enjoying the fresh ice cream at High Lawn Farm (in Lee). We spent a gorgeous fall weekend at this wonderful property. The owners were beyond hospitable and attentive. The house was easy to relax in. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!

We took a long weekend up to the Berkshires to do fall activities with my family, 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 3 years old) as well as my brother’s family (wife and 2 kids ages 3 and 1). The house was very spacious and cozy. Checking in was a breeze, as Teva had everything laid out well. The property was a really nice size. Plenty of space to go for a walk and explore yet not so big that you can get lost. The whole experience was a fun relaxing weekend for adults and children alike. I would just advise anyone that the house is just off of a busy roadway. The house And yard are tucked away So it’ wasn’t a concern for us. However if you plan on spending periods of the day there, you will hear cars going by. With that being said, we would definitely consider renting again!

My kids loved exploring the property which felt much large than 11 acres. It is obvious that the owners spend a-lot of time maintain the grounds.My wife said the bathtub in the master bathroom was the coolest tub she has used.Why only 4 stars instead of 5? One of the main roads into town goes right past the house and the road noise is pretty impressive in the yard and even in the master bedroom. We stayed in 7 VRBO's on this trip and my wife thought this house was her favorite and my kids also rated it higher but the road was a major discredit for me.

We were so pleased with the property and hosts. From the generous gift basket to the welcoming details put into every nook in the house and little pockets to explore all around the property, we could not have stayed in a cozier place for friends weekend. We even saw the first fall leaf of the season drop! It happened here! Highly recommend.

My family of 5 and another of 3 had a terrific time over Presidents Day weekend staying in this home and taking advantage of great skiing at Butternut and the beautiful surrounding towns. Owner was super responsive and easy to work with and the house was exactly as advertised (maybe even nicer) with fun little perks that we discovered over our stay.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Easy check-in process, fresh tomatoes waiting for us on the kitchen counter, and the beautiful garden in the back. The house gave us plenty of options for sleeping and lounging during the day. Perfect location to Stockbridge. Highly recommend!

Great property, half a mile from Stockbridge, commodious and well-stocked with dishes, utensils and appliances. Peter was a terrific "care-taker" (admittedly driving a beautiful racing green Jag). We were invited to pick whatever was ripe from the garden. We are definitely taking it for next year (hence my hesitancy at recommending it!)

This house was excellent. We are from the Berkshires (living now in the Boston area) and came out for school vacation week to ski and see family. The house is close to Butternut Ski Area and the location is very accessible to both Great Barrington and downtown Stockbridge (you could walk to Stockbridge during the warmer months). The owner was extremely responsive and professional. Everything was seamless and managed through HomeAway. Highly recommend! We would definitely rent here again!

This house was amazing! We stayed there with four couples and three babies and it was perfect and more than spacious enough for us all. Peter met us at the house and put out a spread it with cheese, Proseco, and farm fresh eggs! Both Peter and Teva were incredibly helpful and while we had no issues to speak of, I felt confident they would have been incredibly responsive if anything arose.

The house was beautifully furnished, extremely well equipped, and very comfortable. It is really convenient to downtown, within an easy walk on a sidewalk. It is close to the road but very private and the white noise machines made for perfect sleeping. For the summer, the central air is fantastic. We were just a group of 2 adults and a baby, but the house would be great for a family or 2 families. We were there on a cold spring weekend, but would love to go back and enjoy the yard and sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows. The owners were very responsive and easy to reach.

We came to the Berkshires from San Diego for a reunion with my extended family. Our family of 6 stayed at this cottage. With its 4 large bedrooms, 3 large bathrooms, well-stocked -eat-in kitchen, and 3 separate seating areas, there was plenty of room to be together but also places to snuggle under a blanket and read a book. The owner was available but we did not need him because the house was in such good shape. Within walking distance to village of Stockbridge, and a short drive to the Norman Rockwell museum, this home was a great place to stay for a long weekend.

What a great house! Peter welcomed us with a nice cheese plate and goodies as well as a full basket of eggs. Since we were a family of 3 generations, we let the young stay up stairs to have their privacy and we stayed downstairs. All the rooms were a comfortable size with bathrooms attached. The best compliment to the house made our 7-year-old grandchild. What a “super cool house”. We all enjoyed skiing at Butternut Mountains. The free time was spent with games and watching a movie on the large screen TV. If you prefer not to eat in, “Main Street Coffee” near by serves a hearty breakfast, elegant dinners at “Alta” and “Chez Nous Bistro” Thank you Teva and Peter The Wolfensberger Family
