Great location in quiet neighborhood, near trails, beaches, and restaurants. House is well equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and couches, nice TVs, grill and hot tub. Bonus if you like wildlife, we loved all the bear sightings. Local Vacasa support was great if we needed anything.

the property is comfortable for 4 adults and has a wonderful location. The property manager was very responsive to the minor issues we had.. we would like to book this property again

Location! Quiet neighborhood and thank you John. Could not find dishwasher soap so washed dishes in sink but could not keep water in the sink so used more water then we wanted. Very comfortable and beds were wonderful. Cooked every night in the cabin and Bbq'd - so easy. Nice, large new ? upstairs walk in shower. Thank you for being "dog" friendly - she appreciated it and so did we.

We really like this place; its wonderful!
Upon arrival, we found it nice and clean. Our lockbox checkin was smooth. It’s a really nice place; everything is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hot tub was ready to go. We would definitely come back.
The photos are accurate. The couches and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with many pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, and silverware, and plent of other dodads. We did make use of the pyrex food storage containers we brought, so we could use them to warm up leftovers, as we did all of our own cooking for every meal. The hot tub is fairly new, sparkling clean, and ready to use upon arrival. The shower water pressure is excellent. It seems like an older home, and yet everything was in perfect working order and nice and clean. The lights don’t brighten up the living room as much as some might like, so I would only suggest maybe they add some brighter ceiling lights. There were many soft towels: 4 per person… can’t beat that! Wall decorations added to the very cozy feeling. Whoever decorated did a very nice job.
The location is really nice. We biked the path to Pope and Jameson beaches. We took kayaks from Jameson beach to Baldwin Beach (marsh is closed to kayaks this year). We biked to Valhalla and Tallac (parts of Tallac are closed). We made a reservation at the horse corral and had a lovely ride! We went to Fallen Leaf Lake for deep shade on the hot days. We always find our way to the Camp Richardson Icecream Shop, about 10 feet from the bike path. One thing to be aware of is that while Lukins Way is a nice quiet street, the backyard is on a much busier and noisier street with regular loud traffic and some loud street maintenance sometimes. This makes the backyard a little less relaxing, but it all quieted down by the time we wanted the hot tub each evening.
In the meadow just a short walk west of the home, we saw a bear! That meadow also has a tire swing. So many bunnies, squirrels and chipmonks! We also saw many woodpeckers, stellar jays, robins, Canadian geese, blackbirds, crows, gulls, magpies, chickadees, margansers, a tanager, and 2 osprey!
So many wildflowers: fields of lupine and mule’s ear. Tons of columbine, pussypaws, sierran woodbeauty, yarrow, snow plant, warrior’s plume, stickseed, penstemon, wild rose, and allium; a photographer’s dream.
We would definitely come back; we had a wonderful stay here.

This cabin is charming, with all the necessities needed to stay away from home! The beach is maybe a 5 minute drive. Loved spending the weekend at the beach and coming home to this cabin nestled in the woods. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve EVER slept in. We will definitely be returning to this charming cabin!

Just what we needed!
We had an excellent time staying at this property- It was exceptionally clean (important in post COVID world) and stocked with fresh towels and linens by the properties housekeeper, Marta. Huge props to her.
Can confirm that the hot tub is excellent, was definitely great to come “home” to after exploring the Tahoe area during the day.
My only advisement would be- If you’re planning on cooking, make sure you buy everything you’ll need, as the fridge comes empty and the in-house seasonings are pretty light. The appliances and cookware work just fine otherwise! We really enjoyed grilling in the backyard.

Cute place! But the owners can do better.
The cabin itself was adorable. Plenty of space for me and my two friends, loved the backyard deck, hot tub, barbecue and the rooms! Centrally located so there's easy access to grocery stores, freeway, the casinos and heavenly shopping center and lots of good places to eat and drink.
While the property manager employees were nice enough on the phone the customer service was still an issue. One of our first nights there, a technician shows up unannounced following up on service call to check on the satellite connection made by either the owners or the property manager but we had just walked through the door from a long day and didn't want someone tinkering around when we wanted to sleep. We found this odd that no one informed us of this in advance, so we just asked that he contact the property manager and arrange to come back another time.
The next irritating issue was that the owners arranged for a new refrigerator be delivered during our stay, which made for a SECOND disturbance. The property manager at least called to let us know about that one but we're private people that really didn't want to be bothered but apparently the owners can't plan ahead to have maintenance and deliveries scheduled without occupants being there. Just wasn't the experience that we wanted.

Happy family
We had a great week staying at Foxglove. The house is a true cabin with the look and feel. Squeaky floors and all, which we didn't mind. It was probably one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in. We had plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a great size. The shower and water pressure were a big plus. The hot tub was great! (The lock was broken when we got there though). The kitchen had everything we needed and the dishwasher was a real help since we ended up cooking more than planned.
I gave it 4 stars because of little things that could be done, like better kitchen towels. We had to wash and dry the only two offered so we could have clean towels. Also, the cable offered was pretty limited. We ended up staying inside more than planned because of the weather and were a little disappointed in how few channels there were. Finally, one of the beds squeaked, a lot. I'm a restless sleeper and kept my husband up with all the tossing and turning and squeaking. I ended up sleeping in the other bed with our daughter so we could all sleep.
We would definitely stay here again and had a great time.

Had a nice weekend at the Foxglove rental. The house worked well for us and our dogs. Great location. We never really expect 5 star accomidations when renting pet friendly houses and this place was about a 3.5 and felt like a work in progress. We would rent this cute place again if they replace the beds, they are really hard. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings!

Nice area, small but sufficient
Loved staying at the house I only wish we could have used the hot tub. Maybe a later check out. Most properties are 11:00

Cabin
This cabin is probably better for a winter ski rental than summer. Very little natural light in the downstairs, the yard is just dust, and the back porch is pushed up very close to the neighbors who have two big dogs. The carpet needs replacing and the overall feel of the house is tired. I could see the value though in terms of the hot tub and fireplace in winter and when you don’t want to be outside in the yard because it’s covered in snow. Probably better places though in terms of value.

Nice cabin!
We had almost everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Close to everything! The one thing that needed improvement was the cleaning. We found feminine hygiene items on the floor by the bed, wrappers and twist ties under the TV and no cleaning supplies what so ever. I like to keep the places clean I stay in and we had to purchase countertop cleaner and disinfecting wipes. We enjoyed the hot tub and the TV’s all worked well. We will rent from vacasa again but maybe a one story as the stairs were very steep.

Nice Deal for the price!
We scored a great deal on this rental near the bike path entrance near Camp Richardson. The hot tub was definitely the highlight. The bed in the master was a bit squeaky, but very comfortable and I really liked the linens. Hot tub towels and the little gift bag was a great addition. Also, a little cottontail bunny stays in the front yard. She is cute, please make her feel as comfy as possible.
There are a couple things I think could improve the property:
Using more of the backyard to create more of an oasis
Nice lounge chairs, or an update table/chairs perhaps.
This house backs to a heavy used road, so please expect some road noise when you are outside.
Overall we really enjoyed the property for the 2 of us. We were able to walk to places for eating and take nice walks, bikerides from the property. We would definitely come back.

Relaxing retreat
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, especially if you bring your pet. Our dog Lily found some fun toys in the house as well plenty of dog bowls and doggie bags.
The property manager was very responsive and helpful any time we needed help with something.
Would recommend this place for families or a friends getaway.

Perfect fit
We booked the Floxglove Terrace for a weekend get away. It was a perfect fit for two couples and a pup. Location was great, not too far removed from activity locations but far enough to enjoy some piece and quiet. The house had everything we needed, including extra space if we had needed it.

Cozy and comfortable
The beds in this place are amazing! And the big living room with plenty of couches is great for board games and hanging out with friends. The hot tub is an extra bonus. I highly recommend for 2 couples.

Checks all the boxes
Vacasa was very informative and easy to get in touch with at all times. Keypad entry was convenient. Home was spotless. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beds and couches were very comfy. Hot tub was higher-end, seemingly new, and plenty spacious for 4. We thought heat may be a concern with just the gas fireplace in the living room but it was actually perfect and didn't even use the multiple space heaters provided. Would absolutely recommend staying in this home!

Loved it!
This place was so charming and perfect for that quiet getaway. The hot tub was relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. Clean and tidy. Also very close to the lake and had nearby trails and state parks to bring the dogs to. We loved the fenced in backyard for the dogs. We would book this again for sure!

Great location. Very cozy and awesome jacuzzi. Only wish was the beds were a little more comfortable and there was a wood fireplace. Other than that was a perfect stay.

More Rustic Than Expected
This house is probably 50+ years old and it shows. Worn paint, very squeaky floors (especially upstairs), limited electrical outlets. It was adequately updated in all crucial areas. Bathroom and kitchen had reasonably current fixtures and appliances although even those were far from new. Excellent, roomy shower. Living room furniture is modern and comfortable with a huge TV. Beds were comfortable with a nice TV in each room. The hot tub was the highlight for us...modern, clean and a pleasure to use. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Love this little cabin. Very close to everything. Plenty of towels and fresh Sheets if needed. Jacuzzi was awesome. Dog friendly is always a plus. The only issue I had was there should be instructions for the TV for us old folks that don't know new gadgets hahaha
