L'emplacement de cette cabine est certainement l'appel, mais il y a tellement de confort matériel à la propriété que vous ne voudrez plus quitter. La cuisine entièrement équipée avec appareils inoxydable est beaucoup plus que vous trouverez dans la plupart des chalets de location, afin d'apporter votre nourriture, grill sur le Weber (réservoir de rechange inclus), et de régler avec une bouteille de vin en face de la cheminée à bois de gaz. Il y a Dish Network et le WIFI gratuit, et même une chaîne stéréo avec haut-parleurs Bose pour votre plaisir, mais il y a beaucoup d'appel à l'extérieur, aussi. Le foyer en pierre personnalisé (petit bois et le bois de feu est fourni) et de chaises Adirondack qui vous occuperons faire griller des guimauves pour S'mores ou raconter des histoires des activités de la journée. Our initial cabin rental didn't have any running water due to a strong storm with heavy lightning, that caused some damage to the well water line. The next morning, we were upgraded to a nicer cabin that had all of the essentials. A big shout out to the team that helped accommodate us in a prompt manner. We enjoyed nearby activities and loved our stay.

Nothing short of spectacular. Location was great given we had scheduled zip lining at the near by Nantahala Outdoor Center. Quiet property. Firewood provided but not used. Lights on at arrival to make entering easy. Would definitely stay again!

My partner and I had amazing weekend in the cabin. We couldn’t ask for a better cabin view. When we was looking for cabin we wanted a cabin out in the wood without phone service so we could spend time without distractions from our phones! We had amazing time playing pool upstairs in the loft and soaking in the hot tub ! The only thing we regret is not booking the cabin for a whole week!

Paid in full but Never checked in. NOT MOTORCYCLE OR TRAILER ACCESSIBLE..but this was never listed this way. The management company was a joke when trying to get help or at least some of our money back. Even before checking in it had hot tub problems and the wifi was going to be out all week. Property ,host , and watershed management were a complete scam. We were blessed to find a local place that could take us for the week and our vacation was saved. Lesson learned.

Relaxing weekend
Excellent property, steep drive. We enjoyed our stay and will return. Everything was in working order and had excellent communication with property management and owner.

Place is awsome...just not very motorcycle friendly getting to it...
My friend laid his bike down twice trying to get in the driveway....would of been nice to know that wasn't so motorcycle friendly...other than that place is awsome if your in a 4x4

Great location, could not play pool realistically
We got there 10 minutes early & had to wait til the exact time to unlock the door. Upon entering, there were dead bugs everywhere, on the countertops & floors in every room so I had to clean first thing. I rented the place based on the pool table & hot tub but the room was to small to play pool which was very frustrating. The hot tub only had 1 working jet. The freezer was dirty & if you slept in the Murphy bed, you were in a closet. There was no way to play darts because the pool table was in the way. I feel like the shouldn't draw you in to features that you really can't use, false advertisement. I was told that the bugs are invasive which was a ridiculous excuse because I live in the country with "invasive bugs" too but they are not dead all over my house. No one had been there to clean before we arrived and I'm not sure the last time someone cleaned the ceiling fans. There were rules posted on everything which after signing an agreement that took 45 minutes to read, I expected better & I would not stay here again.

Okay....but......
House is a bit out of date. The electric breakers were all blown upon arrival so there was no water or nternet or wifi calling. Breaker for water pump would not reset. Barely had cell signal to call & waited 2 hrs before unpacking before maintenance arrived to fix breaker box. It was not just a thrown breaker. Hot tub was green & slimy so was only able to use it the 3rd/last night after maintenance serviced it while we were gone the 3rd afternoon. Firewood was too wet to burn for campfire from a rain 2 days before arrival. There's not enough room to actually use the pool table properly. There was 1 dart for the dartboard. Blower for the gas fireplace didn't work. Ceiling fan in main room squeaked too loudly to use. There's no toaster. Microwave is very weak. Front desk was responsive. Good location. Very clean

Great Time!
The cabin was easy to get to, very clean and was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Wood provided was great for a fire and the hot tub was great. We ran into no issues while staying but felt sure that management would have taken care of any issues promptly. Thanks again for the great weekend!

Relaxing Anniversary Weekend
It was very nice overall. The only disappointing thing was not being able to use the hot tub as the water was green even with us placing the shock packets both nights we were there. We were really looking forward to that. It was clean and the pool table kept us occupied.

Fantastic Views
The cabin was perfect for what my husband and I wanted. The hot tub was clean and fantastic. The fire pit with provided wood was great. The wood was wet, but we made it work. The county the cabin is located in is a dry county. So FYI bring your own. We had a great time using the pool table. The views were gorgeous, just closer to other cabins then expected.

Wonderful clean dog friendly getaway - good location
We absolutely loved the location, privacy and amenities of this cabin . Super clean and dog friendly which was a plus for us . The location is perfect for a quiet, private and restful getaway. My husband and I enjoyed the newer and super clean hot tub, a few camp fires and a few games of pool. Communication with property manger is prompt , the only thing we needed to communicate about was if there was a kurig or coffee maker !

Perfect Cabin Get-away
The cabin was a great get-away. The fire pit, hot tub, and porch were nice to enjoy the outdoors. We loved the pool table and dart board. It was great for a rainy evening. Overall, the cabin was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay there again.

Awesome Cabin
This cabin was perfect for our trip up to the Tail of the Dragon. The quiet setting was so nice for a peaceful evening by the fire or coffee on the deck in the morning. We enjoyed the pool table upstairs every night and appreciated the hot tub. We have recommended the property to friends and definitely hope to return!

Perfect
This was the perfect little cabin for our family. It’s distance from other cabins was great. The hot tub and pool table was perfect combination of activities to enjoy. It is a steep climb to get to the cabin so keep that in mind with what vehicle you will be driving. Great Thanksgiving spent in this cabin.

Great Amenities but cleanliness is lacking
we enjoyed the nice clean bed, bathrooms, and hot tube but there was a great deal of pet hair on the carpet, cob webs and spiders in places, the kitchen utilizes need an update, cicada all over the cabin at night to the point of not being able to go out. There is a barrier spray that can be purchased online that could be sprayed around the house. We loved the decor and amenities but it is run down some and if you have a car getting up the driveway could be extremely difficult due to the hill.

A great cabin experience
This is a beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains. Close to tons of hiking trails and Fontana Lake.
We were notified while in route to the cabin that during a storm the night before, a lightning strike damaged the well pump. Tim (the property manager) was great! He went out of his way to take care of the issue and made sure that everything was taken care of.
We had so much fun, we ended up extending our stay another day.
Thanks Tim for going the extra mile to make our vacation so memorable!

Lovely but..
First and foremost - this place is so cozy and relaxing. If you're seeking seclusion to unwind - you won't be disappointed. Hot tub was good, enjoyed playing darts and pool, despite it being a little tight for moving around upstairs. We had a great weekend here. That being said, I gave a lower rating on cleanliness because there were quite a few cobwebs left behind, two wasps inside upon entry and we had to get rid of some large spiders in the bedroom area. It wasn't a shock that there were insects inside being that this place is enveloped by trees, but getting those cobwebs tended to would surely help tackle concern. The dishwasher wasn't cleaned/unloaded when we got there, either. Agree that there should be a deadbolt on the entry door since it's so close to the bedroom. Overall - lovely stay but the property management side of this place could be improved.

Perfect Getaway Cabin!
We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The location was perfect to all the motorcycle routes we wanted to take and we were so thankful the property had extra parking at the bottom of the mountain to leave our touring bike at night and truck during the day. The cabin was perfect for us and so peaceful after long days of riding. We loved the firepit and I enjoyed sitting on the deck and reading while watching the sunset. Thank you so much for offering your cabin for rent we hope to be back soon!

Great property and clean!
My dad, brother, sister and I booked this location to be close to in and out hikes of the Appalachian trail. What a great location and property. Hot tub, house and fire pit were perfect. Only constructive feedback would be that the upstairs shower was broken and the handle to turn on the tub water fell off. Be prepared for a steep drive up the road and use a 4wheel vehicle to be safe!

As advertised. Great Place!
My wife and I decided to have a getaway and Buckhorn was the prefect place to do so. It is secluded (there are other houses around but that was not a problem for us) and it was nice to have a quiet weekend to ourselves. The house was clean and we didn't have any problems. We were able to enjoy the hot tub in the snow! It began to snow on Friday night and continued to flurry throughout the entire weekend. The driveway is steep but we were able to get in and out even with about half an inch of snow on the ground. We did have a four wheel drive truck though. I would highly recommend this cabin to couples who are looking to get away. Bryson City is about 30 minutes away and we went there everyday. It has fantastic restaurants and my wife enjoyed the shops. All in all it was a great experience!

Nice place with all the amenities!
If I had one complaint it would be friendliness for motorcycles. The lane in and up the driveway is steep and could be challenging for some motorcyclists skills. With that being said the rest of the experience was great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and convenience to the Trail of the Dragon and other great motorcycle roads in the area.

Nice area. Great house!
The area is very nice, very wooded, quiet and secluded, but with several areas of interest within 30 minutes drive. The steep driveway up to the house was a beast but we managed (if wet/leaves or icy it would be near impossible, but you can always walk up if needed), 4WD highly recommended. The house itself was great, really everything you could ask for, except for black lady bugs everywhere (only outside) that looked very much like ticks, which creeped us out at first but as a sign inside explained, they are in the midst of taking care of the problem. Otherwise it was fantastic! Hot tub was actually hot and furniture was homey and comfortable. Dogs allowed a huge plus (he loved it!). Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with some interesting options around for fun.

Great Weekend Get Away
My husband and I were looking for a place to have a quiet, mountain get away. This property was definitely what we were looking for. There is a hot tub, fire place, pool table, dart board and board games. It is located on a drive with several other similar cabins but the area definitely feels private. The second bedroom is not a private room. It is a pull down bed in the loft with the pool table. It would probably work nice for kids but may not work well for 2 couples. The drive way is steep and was difficult to get up because it was muddy. If it were to be icy or had there been more rain, we would have probably not been able to drive up it. If you are looking for hiking, there isn't too much within the close vicinity. We were able to find Yellow Creek Falls which was about 30 minutes away and a pretty easy hike to a nice waterfall. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and it was a great to stay for a weekend trip.

The cabin was cozy and charming. It had everything you could have wanted and needed. It was romantic and fun and functional. We will definitely be back!!!

Very nice property, close to the best driving roads you can experience.
Very nice, new, well equipped property. Some views, quiet and clean. Could have easily stayed in the cabin the whole visit. Wifi and movie channels a plus, if staying put. If not, very close to all the best roads to drive. Only one downside. If you have a sports car you will have to be creative with your parking choices. Steep grade and very loose gravelsand driveway. Suggest driving past the driveway, then rolling backward into it. Chock your wheels at the bottom of drive, as you will bury it otherwise.
Great cabin, worth the extra effort.(lowered, performance tires, high rpm car) Most won't have the same problem. Would do it again! If you are a drinker, remember it's a dry county except for Fontana, which has beer. Otherwise bring your own.
