Being right on the mountain is a huge plus for our family. Literally being able to wake up and start your day without having to get into a car and wasting precious time is worth it. The property was clean and had everything my family needed for our ski vacation. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

The location and size of the condo for the price is an exceptional value! I loved looking out at the lifts from the windows and balconies. The rooms are a good size. It is truly ski in/out and everything is close. The things that can be improved: wifi kept dropping or was slow. The beds are old and uneven, not super comfortable. The master bath faucet was broken. I was unable to use the tub for the kiddos. Despite these things, we will definitely be back because we loved the condo overall!

This is an older condo that was clean but due for some upgrades. There is a moldy smell when you open the door, one of the bathrooms has mold on the ceiling, and the carpet is due to be replaced. Other than that, it's a quiet location so you can get a good night's rest. I would stay with Vacasa again, just not sure I would stay in this condo.

Great location. True ski-in/ski-out. Great views of the mountain and ski area. Convenient to resort shops and restaurants. The resort got 36 inches of snow prior to our arrival. We had a 2WD SUV and it was challenging. 4WD is a definite plus.
The condo was clean and well stocked.
Couldn’t give 5tars because only the shower in the master bath worked. The drain lever was difficult to operate. The sink stopper did not work and the sink drained slowly. Problems were reported to the management without resolution. The central heat functioned as off or on and setting the temp didn’t seem to work.

I don’t normally review places I have stayed because often there are many made up thing in them, but this time I had to. My family I have visited Purgatory for 10 years and stayed in a lot of units at the resort and never had an issue, until this year. The location of this unit is great and has easy access without using the elevator to get your luggage in, and that’s where the good ends. This unit is not at all well maintained. The door lock is worn out and doesn’t always open correctly. The flooring is dirty and stained and if you walked around in socks or bare feet you got them dirty. Most of the living room furniture is old, uncomfortable, and dirty. Many of the blinds are broken and don’t work well or not at all. Several of the electrical outlets do not work or are loose and the lighting is dark at best. The bathrooms are ok but need a good deep clean as there is mold in the shower though it's not bad, and the sliding door to one bathroom falls off the track when you try to open or close it. Beds are comfortable, but THIS UNIT HAS BED BUGS! After 4 nights my wife had what looked like a rash on her, and the next day I started to get the same thing. We thought at first it may have been laundry detergent or something like that as we have never dealt with bed bugs, however on the way back home both of us started to itch and the rash started to turn into bumps and welts. My wife went to the Dr. following our visit to find some relief from the itch, and that’s when we learned it was BED BUGS! Stay away from this unit, it isn’t worth the money or the risk of bringing them home, we have now spent countless hours removing and cleaning clothes and bedding trying to make sure we didn’t bring them home. She has bites all over her face and neck and so do I. The resort is a great place and we had fun, but this experience has definitely left a very bad impression on us. This unit could be a great unit, but it's obvious the owners haven’t spent any money on it in a long time and are just renting it out. Purgatory is a great place but this unit is a dump!

This condo is the perfect location and generally very comfortable. To say this condo sleeps six is a misrepresentation because the sofa bed mattress is basically a bag of springs and even my children could not sleep on it because of how unbelievably uncomfortable it is. The master bath bed king bed is a comfortable mattress, the other room king bed is OK but a little bit on the hard side. We did have some plumbing issues in the back bedroom also because of water not draining properly from the sink and the bathtub but I have reported that and I am guessing that it is an easy fix to get the drains cleaned out . I would have given this a four star rating if it wasn’t for the unbelievably bad sofa bed mattress.

Condo 305
We enjoyed our condo it had everything we needed. The location and views are some of the best. I think kitchen could use some love. Cabinets are worn out and cookware is pretty worn. I would suggest something for dishwasher because the utensils appear dirty or foggy. Some vinegar or lemme shine. Overall would definitely rent again. Thanks

This place was nothing short of gross
I read the reviews and everything was explained away, saying they had made changes. Not the case. This condo, short of having an awesome location, was awful. The inside is rundown, cabinets are ajar and don’t shut, all dishes and silverware have hard water stains and a chalky coating, and were not replaced as previously mentioned. The master shower never had hot water (a running problem), the kitchen sink was clogged and unusable for the last day. The sheets and towels were itchy and over bleached and worst of all my husband has hundreds of bites all over his body which we are now concerned are bedbugs!!!. The furniture had a cloud of dust that would come up when you sat down and the carpet has stains everywhere. If we weren’t there for my son’s bday and a solid 8hrs from home we would have left after day one. We spent as little time there as possible and weren’t able to relax. There is also no Wi-Fi offered as the listing suggests, only public Wi-Fi which has no bandwidth from too many users. We were beyond disappointed and although I’ve never written a negative review before, this place was beyond tired. As a rental owner myself it was embarrassing how much help this place needs.

Wonderful
We loved the location! Perfect for ski in/ ski out. So happy the ski lockers are back! There is also a hot tub on the top floor and we had access to the main lodge amenities! We will be back!

Dated
The location was the BEST in the resort. The condo needs some renovations….updates would be nice. Carpet was dingy, bathrooms had mold, brand new washer was sent with shipping rod in it to which my husband and son removed, and wifi NEVER worked consistently.
Would I recommend the stay, yes…..but be clear on what one is getting into. We were not there enough for the wifi to be an issue, ran the washer as we left each day…..was a great trip with our family overall.

Purgatory Village #305
What we loved was the location. The main bathroom shower had trouble with hot water. The condo is dated and felt so. There is some deferred maintenance. The furniture wasn't as comfy but worked. Finally figured out how to work the main TV; it is turned on and off from the set. But who cares. The mountains are out your door. The kitchen dishes had a lot of chips and the inside of the cabinets were in need of help. The utensils and pots and pans were all used up but the silverware was new. Again, this is a really great location with large living spaces. We could load and unload from the main floor with designated parking.

Nice condo in a great location, with a few minor issues
This purgatory condo is in an excellent location for ski in and ski out. A few things we observed on our stay; there is noise in the condo from the residence above, and the snow cats grooming the mountain throughout the night are loud. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear them frequently. The heat kept kicking on even though we had it turned down, so our stay was uncomfortably warm. The condo is comfortable, yet outdated.

Family vacation
The price was good, so take the negatives with a grain of salt. Location was amazing (base of the mountain), views from the balconies were spectacular! Condo is dated, pull out is unusable. Beds need to be replaced. WiFi is spotty at best, so if you need to do work (like I did), you can’t. The pots and pans are so old that they peel off in your food. Even with all that, we had a great vacation and with the location and views, we’d do it again.

The wood burning fireplace was awesome for the cold nights- loved the double decks and if we had been here in the winter after the snow had arrived, it would have been magical. The gentleman at the front desk at check in was amazing, so helpful, had firewood sent to the unit in minutes of us asking. We will absolutely be back and would be thrilled to stay here again. Thank you!

Great Views, Terrible Condition
This property has amazing views and is in a great location. That's the extent of the good. Nothing worked well...the internet was non-existent, the TV channels were intermittent, the ice maker was broken, many of the lights didn't work, the and furniture is falling apart (the wicker chairs on the patio are ripping apart and we almost fell through). It didn't seem very clean either. The beds and pillowcases smelled. There were bugs in some of the bowls and cooking stuff. We found hair in the tub when we checked in. Ugh. You get what you pay for I guess.

Spacious and scenic unit
Beautiful location! Found information regarding check in provided by VRBO and Purgatory Resort differed so there was some confusion. No cold water in kitchen sink (found out it was turned off because it leaked) and guest bath toilet ran and had to be fixed after each flush.

Great location
This condo is on a corner overlooking the base. Perfect view of the lift and mountain. Nice size for 5-6 people. Everything we needed for eating all our meals at the condo. Easy to stop for lunch, dry wet clothes and get back to the slope after a break!

Family ski trip
We loved the location! Plenty of size for a family of 4. With the foldout couch we could have fit more comfortably. It is right at the base of the slopes. Convenient for lunch breaks and dinners out if too tired to cook. We had great weather and a great time! Would definitely come back again.
