The property is as you see it online. Very Clean and well kept. Patio was amazing for our stay and very inviting to use. Tons of amenities and kitchen stocked well with numerous kitchen items. Will stay here again when we visit family in Michigan.

Well laid out floor plan for a group! Enabled some to work in areas separate and still private sections. Loved this house!

What more do we need to say then this is our third time staying at the Cozy Cottage and we look forward to staying there again. Sue is always very helpful and does a great job decorating, especially for our Christmas stays. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable.

This is the second time we stayed at the Cozy Cottage. The first time was to spend Christmas 2021with family in the area. It was perfect for us; a great space and Sue was a great host. We liked it so much we decided to stay there again when we were visiting family in September for a few weeks. This time we got to enjoy the outdoor spaces -- the fire pit, a table for eating outdoors and outdoor games for our grandnieces and nephews. We will be back again! Thanks Sue and Ed.

We were so happy to find this house for our family to stay at while we were in town for our kids’ mountain bike races at the college. We all slept so well because of the comfy beds and ceiling fans in every room!!! We cooked a lot of meals at the house and the beautiful, stocked kitchen made that more enjoyable! The grocery store was so close and there’s a really good coffee shop/bakery/boutique a couple of minutes from the house in Harrison called Up North Coffee. If our kids race at Mid Michigan College in the future we would definitely try to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cozy cottage! The outdoor space exceeded all expectations - very private, spacious and comfortable. The cottage is so welcoming and comfortable, with everything in it you could need, including beach towels! We will look forward to visiting again.

We had a fabulous time staying at the Cozy Cottage. The place was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the back yard for every meal and played with the two friendly cats that greeted us. Because the back door was off the den with the pull-out sofa (4th bedroom), it was a little invasive going through to the backyard. We simply used the front door. The den space may be best for kids rather than full size adults. Nearby Wilson State Park was great for swimming & kayaking. Thank you, Sue & Ed for having us.

Sue has thought of every detail! This cabin is adorable, tastefully decorated, and has all the comforts of home. Great back patio for sitting by a fire in the evening. It is a very short walk down to the community beach. Beach is sandy and were the only ones there. Would highly recommend!

Great little rental on Budd lake. The house was perfect, and the back patio was great. The house was a bit dusty however everything else was neat and tidy. The master bath shower knob was broken, as well as the head in the spare bathroom. The beach was very close by, however it was quite small but useable. We had a mini family reunion and everyone enjoyed the time at the house.

The property was clean and updated. We had a very good time and will definitely consider staying at one of the properties should we vacation in this area again. We walked the surrounding area, rented a pontoon boat, went golfing, and used the full kitchen to prepare meals. 5 star experience.

This was our first time using a VRBO. It was a great experience, the place was very clean, and instructions were nicely presented for all the amenities.

The cozy cottage was a great place for us to stay while celebrating Christmas with family who live in Harrison. It has a great layout and is attractive and comfortably furnished. The family room in the basement was a great room to gather in and there were plenty of toys and games for both adults and children. We were so pleasantly surprised when we saw how nicely Sue had decorated the cottage for the holidays – thanks for the extra effort Sue. We hope to return again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Harrison for a recent family wedding. The home was very clean and worked out perfectly for our family. The home was close to town and was easy to locate. We would love to stay here again!

This Cozy Cottage was exactly as described. Beautifully decorated, and layout was so easy to maneuver. All three bedrooms were different in decor but so cute...and so comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with some basic needs to get us started..though we left coffee for next renters because that was the only thing that was needed right off. The owners had left water in fridge which we appreciated and did the same. Spices and condiments were also available. We brought the card table up from the basement so we could play cards and games at night, after we came in from sitting around the fire pit in the back yard. We especially enjoyed the outdoor set up with furniture and fire pit. Wonderful memories... We couldn't get the television to let us in to use our Netflix, but, in all actuality, we do not miss tv...and the internet was spotty because of stormy weather we thought..and again we didn't miss it. We love the Cozy Cottage and would love to stay with you again sometime!

Our stay was amazing. The house was exactly as pictured on the VRBO website. The property owners communicated effectively and were very pleasant. The house was immaculate and was located in a nice neighborhood. We wish we had more time to enjoy the property, but our son was getting married and we were back and forth from the venue.

This property was a complete gem! The interior of the Lake House was completely updated and clean and the decor was beautiful! The Lake House is five minutes away from the Wilson State Park, which has beach access on Budd Lake. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved this house. Very clean, beautifully decorated and exactly as pictured. Sue was great to deal with. Had a very relaxing weekend here. Plan on returning in the future. Would like to come back in the summer! Would highly recommend this cozy cabin by the lake!

Very nice cottage with nice owners

We rented this property to avoid hotels and campgrounds during COVID pandemic. It is super comfortable! The bedding was so soft and clean! The decor is very pretty and new. Kids enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the beach. They rode bikes and we felt they were safe. The nights were cool and the gas fire pit was a nice touch. We would rent again and recommend to friends!

Wonderful location. Quiet, beautiful place. Modern and well maintained home was comfortable and clean. Sue was great with communications, even sending alternative directions due to road closures. Thank you.

Unfortunately our trip to Harrison was due to my husband's father passing away unexpectedly...amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The bright spot in our otherwise sad trip was staying at the Cozy Cottage and the kindness that Sue showed us. She offered to get groceries before our arrival, checked to make sure there were toys available for our kids and allowed us to make several last minute extensions. The cottage was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed -- a very comfortable stay!

Third time I’ve stayed here. I rent this whenever I visit my mother now. Great accommodations. Perfect for visiting with all of my local relatives. Wonderful view of pond and woods in the back.

What a wonderful long weekend! I booked this property as a place for a writing retreat for myself and three other faculty members. The four of us were very productive as the cottage had so much usable space. Excellent decor, clean, and well-stocked. Spent much of our time outside on the patio during the day and we were thankful for reliable Wi-Fi. When we needed a break, we walked around the lake which was also beautiful. Will definitely try to book for next year.

Such a lovely place. Decorated very nice, all the convenience of home. Wish the weather was a bit warmer so we could enjoy the patio but we will use that come September when we return. We will be renting this every year.
