We had so much fun staying here. Tom and his wife thought of things that people would forget and had them available. Like plastic wrap, wine opener, salad dressing...ect. I was so grateful for that. There was a beautiful grill and firepit (although we didn't use the firepit) the view was worth it alone, but the cottage was adorable....and VERY clean. Yes, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Infact we just might do the same trip next year. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the property. We enjoyed being able to rent the pontoon boat and spend the afternoons on the lake. We cooked our own breakfasts and then drove into Traverse City for dinner. The drive was easy.

We loved our stay here on Spider Lake. Loved that the dock as just feet away from the waters edge. We enjoyed having lunches and dinners on the deck. The guys liked the fishing and have a story or two about the pike that got away and broke their fishing poles. Next time they will be prepared for the BIG one that got away. The Bower Family

This is our second time staying with Tom, and we absolutely love the location and all the amenities. Communication with Tom is great and we always make many memories with our little ones (ages 7 and 15 months). We also love that our dog is welcome. We are already counting down the days until we return next year. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Overall enjoyed the property, beautiful lake, beautiful house. We were closer to traverse city than i thought, and made trips into town almost daily. Tom was a great host and communicated with me whenever was needed. Everything went smoothly and we were blessed with nice weather also! Only complaint is the beds are a little small(im used to a king), but not a deal breaker. I think we will back again and maybe with a few friends next time!

This quiet little cabin is on one of the small sections off the large body of Spider Lake in Traverse City, MI. It has been recently updated and is clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The main living area has a large TV and great views of the lake. The beds have good mattresses and combined with the peacefulness of the location, you'll be drifting off to a great nights sleep. Would readily return for another stay.

Very nice quiet spot on the water. House was full of necessary amenities and more. Garage was spacious and full of lake toys. We will try and stay here again. Highly recommended!

Nice property

We were looking for an affordable two bedroom, two full bath cottage on a lake and close to Traverse City. It was comfortable, very clean and we had a great view of the lake. There were plenty of towels and linens. The beds were very comfortable, although the bedrooms were tiny and the bathrooms are separate from the bedrooms. The only shortcomings were the lack of a floor lamp in the living area, out-dated can opener, no paring knife, no sharp knives, and there were only three cereal bowls. There could have been more drinking glasses and less stemware. We enjoyed our stay very much and will likely return. Tom was a terrific host and extremely responsive. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Girls fall color tour and this home was all we could ask for and more. The owners took the time to think of everything for a perfect stay. Neat and clean, stocked kitchen, bathrooms with nice towels, first aid kits, iron and ironing board, washer/dryer and so much more. The deck is great and the view is amazing. Beds are very comfortable as is the furniture. We plan to go back next summer and get use out of those kayaks. Overall perfect stay, could not ask for more. We use VRBO for all our vacations and this was our be of the best stays.

This place was exactly as advertised and was a perfect place to stay. We grilled food out by the lake, enjoyed a fire in the fire pit well into the night, and just got to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Would definitely stay again the next time in the area.

This was our first stay and definitely not our last! Tom was very helpful during the check-in process as well as during our stay. The house is very well-equipped with all of the fun toys for the family - kayaks, paddleboard, fishing rods, pontoon - all got plenty of use! I would suggest some additional drinking glasses and bowls. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay for our family vacation!

We had so much fun! Even though the weather was chilly and rainy we enjoyed the kayaks and amenities of the house! Everything was clean, lots of pots and pans to use for cooking. Great view !

My fiancé and I stayed with our two dogs for the weekend. Very clean and comfortable with an easy check in/out process. Tom was very accommodating and had great communication. He also plowed the driveway before we arrived. I would highly recommend this property.

The property is about fifteen minutes from DowtownTraverse City - it is remote enough to be relaxing but close enough to town if you want to go shopping or to activities.

Perfect home for a small weekend getaway for my husband amd I with our dog. It was nice and beautiful location. Beautiful view from the house on the lake and neighbors know the owner which is reassuring as to the environment and surrounding. Loved how easy it was to check in and out. Will be booking again

My family of 4 spent Christmas at this property. Secluded from the hustle and bustle, nestled in the woods on the lake. Still just a short drive to Traverse City for endless shopping and food options. Very clean house with great views of the beautiful Spider Lake. Easy booking, check in and check out process. Looking forward to booking our stay at this house again next summer!

Nice, clean property close to Traverse City

Nicely remodeled home, kept very clean. Check in was super easy with great communication from the owner. Nice and quiet area this time of year, made for a relaxing getaway. Close to everything Traverse has to offer, without being in the busier downtown area. The only suggestion would be to add a floor lamp or 2 to the living area and some bedside lighting. The can lights don't dim, and were super bright. We just went and grabbed a cheap floor lamp from Target to use while we were there. Not a deal breaker, but it sure made a difference. We're already talking about when we'll book again!
