This was a great place and the listing and photos are accurate. There were four of us in our group and the house was a perfect size. Most restaurants and attractions are within a 15-20 minute drive in downtown traverse city.

House was very clean and had all the amenities needed for our family to enjoy a relaxing stay!

Location had everything we needed!

The property was spacious for 8 of us. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Had lots of amenities for home and water. Beautiful location in the woods yet only 20 minutes from Traverse city with food, activities and stores. Great family destination.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The house is very well equipped with everything! Pots and pans, plates, utensils, coffee maker and keurig, iron, binoculars, big selection of books, dvd and games! Take the time to go through the books that are on the coffee table, very informational! There's many magazines and brochures on the desk, even if you can Google all the information, it's fun to look at them! Loved the decorations, loved the little accents everywhere that make you feel like you're home. The open floor plan is perfect, couch super comfy to watch tv. Spectacular views of the lake and the trees, just like a postcard! Beautiful nature all around! Very very peaceful and private but still short drive to Travers city, Olesons food market is 8 min away for anything you need. We loved the kayaks, paddle board and pedal boat! Loved the fish at the dock and turtles! The fire pit by the lake was awesome! We did our polish sausage, that we brought from Chicago, on the bonfire, and potatoes and smores. It was truly a fantastic stay for us! Strongly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back!

Perfect lake for a warm weekend, and a beautiful property overlooking it from above

We booked this property for the week of the Iceman mountain bike race, as the one we stayed at last year was unavailable. This place completely exceeded our expectations in just about every way. The kitchen/dining/living area was extra spacious. The bedrooms were great, beds were very comfortable. There were 6 of us staying and there was more than enough room for everyone. The location was ideal as it was just a short drive to the bike race finish area at Timber Ridge. We liked being close enough to shopping & dining without being in the center of town. Plus the views over the lake are spectacular, lots of fall colors as the leaves still haven't all fallen. The local contact Bob & his wife were both extremely friendly and helpful. They live next door and he stopped by shortly after we arrived to introduce himself and check to see if there was anything we needed. Later that evening when a sudden snowfall came through the area, he stopped by to offer to store our bikes overnight in his garage to protect them from the elements. That's over and above :) That also brings up the only regret we had about the place; that it didn't have a secure storage area that we could keep the bikes out of the weather. But overall that was a minor concern as conditions were fine for the remainder of the week. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay and would certainly love to return. We would also like to come back in the warmer months some time to enjoy more of the lake life.
