John went above and beyond to accommodate us when our other booking cancelled just 3 days before our trip. We could not have been happier in this beautiful home. The pool and pickleball court were so fun that we didn't want to go sightseeing. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the house was super clean. Can't say enough good things about this place. We would 100 % book this place again.

The property itself is incredible - the best of both worlds! Plenty of space for our family of 5, including 3 young adults. The outdoor space was perfect. The pool and outdoor dining spaces were a daily must. The location is 30-45 minutes from anything we wanted to do. We loved having a short drive to all things San Diego but then being able to come back to a more serene space with amazing views to relax and enjoy being together as a family. The owners are incredibly responsive and kind - proactively checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for an amazing vacation, including offering a later check out when our flight home got delayed.

Our family of seven adults thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this beautiful home. The location is very nice, the home very clean and the yard/amenities made for a perfect place for us to enjoy time with each other while visiting extended family in the area. John was always very responsive and great to work with throughout the process. We would love to book another stay in the future!

The house is set up nicely for a large group. The kitchen is well equipped and the owner is very responsive, from our initial inquiry to a few interactions during our stay. For us, the real highlight is the outdoor living space, including the pool, spa, sitting areas, and the tennis/pickleball/basketball court. Our family of 4 adults had more room than we needed and really enjoyed our stay.

We do not regularly stay at VRBO’s, and this experience exceeded our expectations. The basketball court was a winner for our four boys and the spacious living areas along with the kitchen were amazing for all. We explored during the day and enjoyed lots of family time together. Thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Awesome place for our family of 8 to stay and also entertain. Great outdoor spaces for hanging out. The court was so fun for games of pickle ball and basket ball. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure our check in was seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Thanksgiving Vacation
So perfect for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, spa, and pickle ball court. The house is lovely and well appointed. Conveniently located to airport, Torrey Pines golf course, and the San Diego zoo. Our host was extremely gracious, helpful, and available to answer questions. I highly recommend this property!

A perfect family get away!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It was spacious, beautifully appointed, perfectly clean and felt more like a true home than a vacation rental. It was worth paying the extra money to heat the pool. We swam, played tennis, hung out in the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fire place. No complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be back!

Property is exactly as shown in the photos, John was a great communicator and we had a blast celebrating my dad's 60th birthday with immediate family enjoying the pool and nature.

Wonderful Escape
The property exceeded our expectations. The home was exceptionally clean and the property grounds were amazing. Between the pool, pickleball/basketball court and playhouse the kids had everything they needed to stay entertained thru out the day. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Fantastic Property
We highly recommend this property. Large, quiet, private yard. Can’t see neighbor houses from backyard. Very peaceful. Kids loved playing tennis, swimming, hot tub and playing basketball. Inside has 4 bedroom areas in basement with large master on main floor. Great family retreat. The owner, John, was very attentive to a couple of our questions during the stay. Just a wonderful property.

I cannot say enough nice things about this property! Everything was A Plus from start to finish. Communication was swift & helpful from the hosts. As incredible as the photos are...the property is even better in person. The house was comfortable and functional for our family. We were a party of six adults and we had room to spare. The kitchens (indoor & outdoor) were fully stocked with everything we needed and more!
John was extremely helpful. He was very attentive and responded quickly.
The sport court was a ton of fun. We had many hours of friendly family competitions! The hot tub was so relaxing each evening. All of the beds were super comfortable.
All in all, it is an exceptional property...beautiful inside and out. Spectacular beauty at every turn.

This property and beautiful home were simply amazing. No detail was overlooked and our experience was the best! Many thanks to the owners who responded to every inquiry on a moments notice and provided detailed information for us. The house was not only luxurious but also comfortable and inviting; nothing stuffy about this gorgeous place! Our family loved the grounds, the pool, the spa, the doll house for our grandchildren and the adults greatly appreciated the outdoor grill and kitchen. We also loved gathering around the outdoor fireplace watching the children swim. Many thanks to John and Cindy for this lovely opportunity. We are VERY hopeful for a return visit!

This house was one of the most amazing places that I have ever stayed at. The house was exactly as described in the house description and was even more amazing than the pictures. The owner was very nice and was one text away from any questions or concerns that come up during your stay. The backyard is something out of a movie and there is something for everybody out there. There were all types of Games and fun supplies provided on the property. The kitchen was amazing and was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a full meal. There were two working grills that allowed us to grill by the pool which was nice . The house was very well kept and clean upon arrival. The house was located right by the freeway which gave access to many stores and activities in San Diego . Uber was available for San Diego night life as well. Overall the house was the highlight of the trip !

Awesome family vacation rental
Our vacation in March marked the 3rd year in a row that we have returned to this special property. When i ask the family where they would like to vacation , "San Diego house with the pool and the sport court" is always first choice. Beautiful and well equipped home combined with a truly amazing yard always makes for an enjoyable stay. The toughest decision to make each day is whether to visit one of the many nearby attractions or to simply hang at house and enjoy the pool and the sport court. The owners are super responsive to any questions or requests which makes the stay worry free.

Perfect family getaway
My family rented this lovely property for my 40th birthday and it was an absolute dream. There are so many spaces to gather, relax, play, eat, and enjoy time together. My boys loved the playhouse and we brought their bikes for the tennis court. We used the outdoor grill/kitchen area for a big dinner one night and it had everything we needed to make a complete meal. I am trying to think of something that was lacking or a suggestion for improvement and am at a loss - the owners were gracious and helpful, the property was clean and comfortable, and my family had a wonderful time.

Luxurious, Clean, Perfect Location, So Much to Do!
The friendly and helpful owners are just an added bonus to this well-appointed, cozy, clean, and gorgeous property! My Getaway group has been staying in executive and vacation homes through Southern California for 12 years now---and this home sits at the top of the list, no question! We fully enjoyed the pool and spa, beautifully-landscaped grounds, mini-tennis/basketball court, gourmet kitchen, multi-level patio seating, comfortable beds in roomy bedrooms, impeccable bathrooms, and couches with enough seating for all 8 of us to watch movies and play card games. The house even smelled delicious! We had a couple of small issues (which is to be expected in any rental) and there were handled promptly and resolved without any burden. We'll look forward to coming back again next year!

What a great experience!
We recently spent a week in this home. It is truly beautiful. There is ample space for the entire family. We especially enjoyed the remarkable backyard. The pool is excellent. We spent many hours in the hot tub, pool deck and by the fireplace (pool side). My boys (16&14) were captivated by the basketball/tennis court. Shopping and great restaurants are nearby in Escondido. The neighbourhood is very safe.
Owner is responsible and trust worthy. I would highly recommend this rental.
