Our stay was brief, we were here for a sporting event in a nearby town, but wanted a good view while we were here! Wish we would have been able to spend more time enjoying the lake view, but we unfortunately weren’t at the property much.
King size bed in the master was very comfortable if you prefer a firm mattress! We would stay again.

Sweet Spot on Smith Mountain Lake
Exceeded my expectations! A lovely spot, in my opinion the best on the lake. Our abode was perfect-ground level overlooking the lake which was easy for my elderly Mom to navigate and we had a courtesy spot to dock our boat at night. We fell in love with Bernard’s Landing and our place. Hosts prepared us well and provided us with a great experience. We will return!

Weekend getaway
My husband and I went for a long weekend. House was very clean and nicely decorated. The view of the water was very nice and enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the boats go by. Excellent restaurant right in the resort. Owner very responsive .

Great location in Bernard's Landing. Enjoyed our short stay. Only wish the resort had cleaned walkway and put some salt or sand down. Condo was very comfy

Relaxing Visit
Condo is in a nice location with a good view of the lake. Inside condition was fine with only one exception; the twin mattresses. Getting into or out of the beds was extremely noisy, making it impossible to take a nighttime bathroom run without waking others. They definitely need to be replaced.

This condo was very clean! Nicely furnished and comfortable. Everything you would need is there! It has a nice view and is near the smaller pool at Bernards.

Best stay ever at SML!
This is our 4th visit to Smith Mountain Lake and this was the best experience we’ve had! Being able to go straight to the condo and use the keyless lock was fantastic! It saved us the trouble of finding the place to get a key, etc. The condo itself was in the best location! The pool (that was never crowded) was steps from the patio. The view was amazing and it was an easy, short walk to the marina where we rented a boat for 2 days. A week or so before the trip we received an email from the owners which gave clear directions and recommendations. Very helpful! We plan on renting this condo every year! Our boys (3 and 5) had the greatest time at their new favorite place!

Dirty
The bathrooms and kitchen were filthy. We had to wash dishes, pots/pans, silverware, glasses and cooking utensils. The rugs and floors were stained and the tile was sticky. The outside furniture, kayak, and fan had cobwebs, dirty leaves, and ashes were left on the table. The gas was out in the grill......the beauty of the lake was wonderful, but would never stay there again.

Our family of four rented this beautiful condo for a long birthday weekend for my son, and it could not have been more perfect for us! From the amazing communication with the owners on accessing amenities and checking in, to the location on the lake, resort amenities, and the indoor/outdoor space, it was all so great! Very family-friendly community!

Relaxing and Feature-Filled Getaway
Went here for the weekend to get away from university for a few days. The location is amazing, being right on the lake and 15 minutes from most stores and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the full kitchen was an additional bonus for home made meals. Overall great experience and a great price! Would stay there again!

We were here for 2 days to check out the area and compare it to Lake Anna. Hands down you are a winner Smith Mountain Lake. Condo was clean, everything we needed was there including a Keurig ❤️❤️. This needs to advertised. The lake is beautiful but we need to come back in the summer.

Perfect for a weekend getaway on the lake. Good size for a group to relax. Small kitchen and bedrooms but large area to eat and socialize. Nice porch with great view.

Perfect Fall Getaway for Honeymoon
Stayed for a few days as part of our honeymoon. Great upgraded and spacious condo with beautiful view of the Lake. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy and contactless. Owners communicated all we needed to know about internet, cable, and community amenities, etc prior to arriving. Definitely would rent with them again!

Great condo on the ground floor which made it easy to walk out to the lake. The unit was nicely updated. It was also very close to the restaurant which is in the community so we could walk to get dinner. Great weekend get away

Beautiful view of the lake, great access to the pool.
We had problems with mice, also the twin beds mattress were not comfortable. But it is a nice place, with a beautiful view. Thank you for putting the ramps out, to help get our friend in and out of the condo.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay.
We were elderly people who were in great need of a few days to get away. It was more than we expected. The view was fantastic. Everything was so comfortable. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. We wanted to stay longer but had to get home. We look forward to staying again.

Great location off lake
The condo was fine & the owner responded quickly when we had a minor issue. However, the amount of towels/soap was not sufficient for 5 adults. Luckily, I brought beach towels & extra soap. The amt of toilet paper was also meager. The restaurant, The Landing, was advertised as open, but wasnt due to virus. The back door is difficult to manipulate, the numbers & letters are hard to read & it appears to need some repair, we needed to spend alot of time getting it to work. If anyone is coming with elderly folks (as we did) or anyone with any kind of disability, be aware there are 2 sets of steps. Its not ideal for really older folks. Other than that, its an ideally located off the water & very close to the pool. Also, the outdoor fan wasnt operating.

Girls Weekend
Can't beat Bernard's Landing! This unit is conveniently located and cozy. We walked to dinner, enjoyed the lake view, sunrise, and glow of electric fireplace. The furnishings are comfortable and space is tidy and tastefully decorated. Sad to find out after booking that indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub were all closed due to renovations. We were looking forward to the amenities offered at Bernards. However, weather was cooperative and weekend was thoroughly enjoyed. I would book this unit again. Three of us shared this unit and the size was just right.

Perfect Getaway
Very clean and spacious condo! This was our second visit and we are already planning for another trip back. Great views of Smith Mountain Lake and the mountains with plenty of activities at the resort! Love this place and highly recommend it to others!

We chose this rental based on the photos and description, it was exactly as depicted and more, so we couldn't have been more pleased! Very clean, spacious, well stocked and comfortable with plenty of privacy and a nice view of the water. Would absolutely choose it again!
