We visited during our annual spring break holiday (which was 1 week later than everyone else's) with a family of 4 and our black lab. We were pleasantly surprised by the updated furniture and cleanliness in the bungalow, as well as the convenient location. Having 3 full bathrooms was a huge plus and we loved the quiet balcony off of the 2nd floor guest room. If you want convenience to the beach, Rosemary/Seacrest/Aly's Beach restaurants and shops, this is the location to stay! The Burkes were great to work with and made our stay stress-free!

Property was in a great location to explore Rosemary Beach and Alys beach. Beach access area was very crowded for spring break. 80% of access area was occupied by beach chair rental company. Plan to book beach chairs from rental company to get reasonable amount of space on the beach. Our family also enjoyed visiting Seaside and Grayton beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Burke's Beach Bungalow. The location was great. The house was as advertised. It was great that we could bring along our two dogs. Highly recommend.

Very lovely home in gated community. Although, the pedestrian gate was not locked and lots of teenagers were in and out in the evening and very loud. I assume this was because of Fall Break. The location is excellent for walking to everything you need and the restaurants are very good!! Loved Lola!! Very nice stay!! The owners were very easy to work with, everything went very smooth!!

Dev and Jill were outstanding host! The accommodations were phenomenal, the location outstanding , short walk to multiple restaurants and shopping areas. We are already planning our next trip and hope to grab the same location. I would recommend working with Dave and Jill any day of the week! Best vacation ever!

We love staying at the Burkes Beach Bungalow every year. A couple of years ago, we were looking for a place that would allow us to bring our dog and be close to the beach. Great location, comfortable place to stay and great owners who make sure their guests enjoy their stay. We will always look to book this place again year over year.

Great Location easy access to beach and shopping. Would stay there again however could use a good spring cleaning, Which I’m sure is hard to do in a five hour turnaround.

Thank you for hosting be my family in your fabulous beach house! The location is absolutely amazing! I have a large family and we are huge Alys beach fans. Leaving the community, we literally took a left and entered Alys Beach for our daily bike rides, shopping at the Alys Shoppe and excellent dining. If you decide to explore Rosemary Beach, a quick turn to the right, you are immediately shopping and having fun dining experiences. Dave always answered my phone calls or texts and was very courteous!

My wife and I, along with our two dogs, had a wonderful time here. The location was great, south of 30-A, only a very short walk to the heated pool and ocean. Our two dogs had a great time playing fetch in the ocean and they looked forward to having some of their dog friends join them. Sunsets were wonderful with a nice group of neighbors joining us for the event. Our location also provided easy walks to great restaurants and stores. We rented bikes at the rental across 30-A from us for our entire stay which provided more options of travel. Our rental unit was very clean. We enjoyed 3 options for outdoor relaxation; two patios and a wonderful deck off of one of the upstairs bedrooms with a table and comfortable chairs along with a swing for two. We definitely plan on returning next year. Even though we were there for six weeks, there were still many things we did not get to explore on our visit this year.

Fabulous location, short walk to the beautiful beaches of the Florida Panhandle, walking distance to Rosemary Beach restaurants and shops. Pet friendly area and unit. Well equipped kitchen and great outdoor BBQ. All the tools you need. Very responsive owner to needs and minor issues as they arose. Ideally suited for 4 people, 4 seats around the patio, dining room table etc. Different in the Summer when the kids are at the beach or outside somewhere.

First time for us in Rosemary Beach. Short walk to the beach, short walk to town, etc. Beach can get crowded here as it’s shared with a fairly large community. House is nice with good use of space.

We very much enjoyed our experience at the Burke Bungalow. The house is in great condition and has everything that you need for a great week at the beach. The best part of the house is probably the location being on the beach side of 30-A as well as walking distance to Rosemary and Alys towns. There are great places to eat and have drinks within a 10 minutes walk. Would definitely rent here again!

Great house, wonderful location, highly convenient to everything the best part of what the NW beaches offer. Walk to restaurants, walk to the beach, relax at a comfortable clean superb beach home. The Burke's were great hosts and we'll be back! Highly recommend this home to anyone interested and the price was very fair! My family and I have been going to Florida beaches for years. I can honestly say that the Burke’s bungalow was by far the best place we ever stayed. The house is amazing, the property is absolutely gorgeous and the convenience is like no other! Within walking distance of beautiful beach and swimming pool. Right in the center of everything around Rosemary and Alys Beach. Only had one small issue during our stay and the Burkes took care of it immediately! 5 stars for sure!!

Dave's place on 30A is awesome, the home is spacious enough (a ton better than a hotel room) and the location couldn't be better. We were a short easy walk to the beach and then we walked to supper every night to Rosemary Beach - excellent food and wine. We also rode bikes a short 3.5 miles to Watersound and ate at the Hub. The most notable point of this vacation was Dave's interaction and responsiveness. From prepping us on our pre-arrival to immediate response to a couple questions we had upon arrival and ultimately working with us on a deposit return, Dave provided confidence in our stay by staying in touch. I definitely would rent from Dave again - thanks for a great vacation experience.

The Burke’s Bungalow was a perfect location, quick walk to the pool or beach and very close to Alys, Seaside and Rosemary. We brought our bikes and were able to get around so quickly! The house was well equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting outside on both patios. This was the perfect family vacation and we cannot wait to come again!

Burke’s Beach Bungalow is located on beach side of 30A only steps from the beach and a 10 min walk to either Rosemary or Alys beach. Home is adequately equipped.

Burke's Bungalow is located between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. It is a 3 min walk to the shops at Seacrest and a 5 min walk to the shops at Rosemary. The house is well appointed with everything you would need to cook at home if you wanted to. It was very updated, clean and comfortable. The house is deceiving from the map.... it is much closer to the beach. Takes a max of 3 min to get to the beach making it a perfect location! Be sure to secure you beach chairs and umbrella early if you plan to go the first week in April. Overall a great house and a great location!

We enjoyed the Burkes bungalow, we have stayed at the Villas at Sunset before and we've absolutely loved it. We love the location, steps to the beach and very easy with kids. Thanks for your place, we had a great time.

Short walk to the beach. The location is perfect as it's just between Rosemary and Alys Beach. Both are within walking distance. Once you park your car, there is no need to move it. Restaurants, shops, bike rentals are short walks away. Owners are more than accommodating and the place is comfortable and cute! Pets are welcome and easily accommodated here as well!

Close to beach and a trolly ride to the pool! Who could ask for more?

We loved staying at the Burke's! The house is very nice and steps from everything. We could easily walk to the beach, pool, dinner, lunch, bike rental and more. We loved the patio and porch swing upstairs. Very nice unexpected touches. Some of our favorites local spots were crabby steves, sugar shack, and the hub. Lovely beach house!

I rented Burkes Beach Bungalow for a siblings vacation with my brother, sister, myself, and our spouses and it was perfect! We couldn't have asked for more. House was clean and comfortable and the decor was beautiful. We had everything we needed to just stay at the house and never leave except to go to the beach or the pool but were close enough that we could walk or bike to shopping or restaurants when we wanted to.

Our family thoroughly loved the Burkes Beach Bungalow. This was one of the cleanest and well kept beach houses we have stayed in along 30a. All the amenities of home and the beds were super comfortable and the house was very well decorated. Location was perfect. just a short stroll to the beach steps and the beachfront pool which you really dont find anywhere along 30a. We felt super safe letting the kiddos run to the pool or beach by themselves. This sits in a gated community with a security guard at the gate so we knew we didnt have to worry about the kids. We walked to Acme Ice House for dinner several times and we highly recommend Paradis Restaurant in Rosemary for a evening of finer dining, which we also walked to. The Burkes were great to work with and we had no issues at all with the internet or the oven. Everything was great and we will definitely return next year to this same house!! Upon arriving at Burke's Beach Bungalow after a 13 hour drive from Dallas, we just decided to stay in and cook the first night. We attempted to use the electric range, did not work. For some reason the oven was locked, and nothing would work until we figured out how to unlock it. In the mean time my wife was washing lettuce for a salad and a waterfall began happening from the cabinet under the sink. All of this was after going to the store for a few snacks, dinner, and light bulbs. About half the light bulbs in the house were out and needed to be replaced. The next day we left two messages with the property manager regarding the sink, I thought at some point the oven would get figured out, so the sink was a priority. Never got a call back. Finally the next morning I emailed the owner, he promptly returned my email, with the name of a handy man, and a phone number for me to call. However, I never received this due to the spotty service for AT&T. But I did get the text that said he would be there by 3:00. So around 3:00 the handy man and a somewhat rude and irritated property manager show up, sink fixed. My son finally figured out the oven, but we already decided to just eat out the rest of the time. So on the third night, when my wife was tucking in my girls, she noticed the beds had no sheets, only a mattress pad. None of the beds up stairs were made. Now let's talk about the internet. I know, you are on vacation, but my wife and I own a business and need to check email. Due to the fact AT&T does not work in this area, finding a house with wireless is important. The wireless in this house simply does not work. It turns on and off constantly. We tried resetting, unplugging, etc. Finally called the number on the box, and they can not help since I am not the owner of the house. At this point I just asked myself, do I want to spend my vacation calling and fixing things, or enjoying the beach. For those of you that are not familiar with this area, there is a huge difference between Sea Crest and Rosemary Beach. We usually come with another family and stay in Rosemary Beach, but this time it was just us and we thought we could stay in Sea Crest and it would be fine. Never again.
