We had a fantastic stay. We had fun exploring the local area, and it was so nice to have a cozy house and we'll equipped kitchen to prepare meals together!

We had the perfect stay! Everything we could have wanted was thought of and it was almost like being at home. We were very comfortable and enjoyed relaxing together in the evening, cooking our meals, and being able to go out and see the sights during the day without a terribly long drive. Communication with the host was perfect and they were so kind and thoughtful. Thank you for making our birthday vacation trip so great!

Location to the fantastic driftwood beach was great and the town was easy to get around and find other parks and beach that was in the bay, very calm rock and driftwood free beach. I would highly recommend a walk through the nearby redwood forest and the tour of the 1856 Battery Point lighthouse, Lighthouse Jetty and tidepools and the Rumiano cheese store. The house was well furnished and certainly roomy for 4 people. If I had any comment about what I'd do different is that I would make sure to use all cotton sheets. Communication with the host was fantastic.

Have stayed here before. I probably get the best sleep. Rain, ocean and close to Forrest trails this location can be very relaxing. Property owner takes great care to make sure you have what you need. You can tell they care.

Perfect for us and our small pet! Host went above and beyond for our pet-friendly stay and the house was very clean and hospitable- even leaving us a local gift in the fridge! Great place and will stay here again when visiting.

The house was clean and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with gear, and a few cooking staples. There were plenty of blankets and covers for the furniture so our 2 little dogs were comfortable too. Location was close to beach walking or taking in sights around the light house. Shopping and dining out were also conveniently close. Maybe we'll get to stay again in the future... fingers crossed!

Wonderful location. Very Comfortable, twins a little hard but doable. Lots of space. Crescent City if wonderful, Redwoods about 6 miles a way, ocean two blocks from home. Would love to come back for a full week and have family come from Portland/Colorado to join us. Seaquake Brewery is a must, love Wicked Aunt Tammy!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was close to dining options, tourist attractions, and various redwood parks. The home and yard are well maintained. The host provides cooking and dish ware, a dog kennel, dog bowl and blankets, lots of fresh linens and towels, and even a pack and play was in one of the closets! If you find yourself looking for a place to stay in this area, this is a good one!

We always visit during a storm. It's just the way it works out with my vacation days. We always feel safe and the hosts are very nice. Its a very short walk to the beach so if you get to cold to fast its a fast walk back to the house! We will be back again hopefully.

Having a comfortable place to stay while spending time visiting family in the area is fabulous. There are a lot of accommodations in the area, but not many homes. Nice place to stay and visit the ocean and Redwoods.

It was a wonderful little house that was in a great loaction. It was well stocked with eveything you might need for a day at the beach. Very dog friendly. It was a great place to stay for the weekend.

Macy was a very communicative host. Some wildfires nearby closed a highway the day before, which we didn't know about, and she called us and offered to refund our stay if we needed to cancel. We ended up coming anyway, but really appreciated the heads up on travel. The location is excellent proximity to Jedediah Smith State Park. 15 minutes and you're in some beautiful trees and have access to amazing hikes. The house was perfectly clean, cozy and had everything you might need for a short or long stay.

We've stayed at this home numerous times and always find it to be absolutely perfect. It's an older home, but very lovingly maintained. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and there is no lack of towels in the bathroom!! I love all of the upgrades and redecorating, and especially the throws provided so your furbaby doesn't get the wonderful new furniture soiled. The home is several blocks from S. Pebble Beach Drive and the lighthouse, all a very easy walk. Being away from the main roads provides you with a very quiet and peaceful home to relax and enjoy your vacation in! We simply love this place!!

The house was incredibly inviting. Beautifully decorated, without knickknacks, ocean decor. Beautiful curtains that look new, recently painted walls with great colors, numerous bathroom towels & washcloths artfully rolled and displayed in baskets and wooden shelves, well stocked kitchen, coffee Krueger, wide assortment of teas, flavored teas, welcome card, cold beer and cold glasses. Very clean, tile floors, plenty of hot water, excellent location close to beach, could hear sea lions, smell the sea air, beach portable barbecue grill, coolers, lovely bedspreads, attractive patio furniture, basket of dog toys, poop bags, & dog , big sheets, big side & front lawn , plenty of parking, new tub and shower, dog crate , child’s play & pack in closet, new windows with screens, porch, outside lights. Couch, rocking chair futon that serves as an additional couch. Hosts were communicative & even called us to tell us that the highway was closed due to fires. These hosts obviously want to provide a cozy warm house for their guests. We are grateful that we could stay there and recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. The Redwoods were close to go explore via car. We also enjoyed the sunset at the beach. It’s windy but beautiful.

The house was everything we needed! Close to all the activities we had planned! Loved that I could walk to the beach and see the sunset every night! The house had all the amenities necessary including beach towels and a cooler! We especially loved the welcome gift of the local IPA! Things we would have liked would be ceiling fans and more plugs in the bedrooms and throughout. But overall, we were pleased!!! Thank you.

We really enjoyed the home as a place to rest when needed but mainly as a central location to see the many great things in the area. Great hosts.

We spent time in the Redwood Forest and the pacific ocean. Great location to do both easily. The neighborhood celebrates the 4th of July with lots of passion, fireworks and block parties.

We stayed at this cute little beach house for two nights while driving the 101 from Tillamook down into California wine country. It was a peaceful spot with close access to a small, lovely beach. Thanks so much!

This darling home was only 2 blocks from the beautiful Crescent City ocean beach! From the family games on hand to the awesome DVD collection, comfy furniture and well-appointed kitchen..this gem has it all!

Came here for an epic bike ride that got canceled due to “bomb cyclone”. Hunkered down in this awesome property that was a few blocks from the ocean view of turbulent stormy sea! Never lost power and the house was amazing despite the gail force wind. Communication with the host was above and beyond what I expected. Had no issues with the neighborhood. Would come again and probably will!

We stayed at the beach house for Christmas. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. There was even a small Christmas tree and a local beer for us to enjoy when we arrived. You can hear and see the ocean from the house. We had everything we needed to have a nice visit with our daughter and grandson who live close by and enjoy coming to the coast. A Very quick one block walk to the beach and the view of the lighthouse is gorgeous. The whole area is very nice. We enjoyed going to the House of Jambalaya for “the night before the night before Christmas” event, there was live music, good food, and storytelling. We wished we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning to the beach house in the future.

Wonderful home, exceptional experience with this property, and it's owners. We will definitely consider this lovely home for our next family visit! You get 5 star rating here for sure!
