We had such a good weekend at this VRBO. The location was perfect, 7 minutes from Friday Harbor and right on the water. We loved having the studio apartment also since we had multiple couples staying. The downstairs room that is a studio would have been nice if it had a door for privacy. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to base your San Juan visit.

Perfect layout for our 3 couple/3 generation family visit, with the guest house just on the other side of the deck. The views are amazing! You might see 2 deer peek in your window or a sea bird float past on a log, drying its wings. Management company was quick and helpful. Property address was well-marked so we found it easily after dark. Nice to have the beach access, we brought an inflatable stand-up paddle-board and explored along the coast.

4 generations met here for a week of tide pooling, bar-b-queing and wonderful relaxing. Alba Vista was close to everything we needed, but far enough away to enjoy nature. The stars were amazing!!

Thank you so much for making your beautiful waterfront home available through VRBO. I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay on the island for a large group. Everything was immaculate and the view was incredible from every room. Awesome artwork! We enjoyed our visit to San Juan Island and much of it was being able to stay at the Alba Vista.

Perfect set up for our friends with kids. We love how close to town we are, but not right IN town. The only thing we aren’t a huge fan of is the downstairs smells like a cat box. If you live with cats, maybe it wouldn’t bother you. But overall we still love this house and hope to visit each year with our friends.

Comfortable home for a friends getaway. Enjoyed a lovely 3 day trip on San Juan Island. Friday harbor is a short drive away. Home was clean. Beds comfortable. Only concerns were the lack of a window covering in the water closet and musty odors in the guest house and basement.

We did not want to leave this beautiful picturesque escape on San Juan Island. Plenty of room for my group of friends who came with me to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I wish I had another week here just to stay at the property. Great communication and very clear directions on how to access the property, great location to Friday Harbor, and stunning views of the Salish Sea. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. Perfect place for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation.

great location, house needs updating
The location and views from this house were second to none. We also appreciated how spacious the house is- my one year old was able to sleep soundly in the master suite while the rest of us hung out in the living space. Unfortunately the house is clearly just used as a fast turnaround rental, the furniture is so old lumpy outdated and much of it falling apart at the seams. The interior does not at all match the luxurious location.

Working Get Away
Over all really nice. Beautiful location, great layout for multiple couples to have their own space while having the main floor to gather. WIFI was strong, no cable tv as advertised. We had to use casting useing a third device. The house was very clean. The beds were great! The
views are wonderful, but partially obscured by high bushes. The beach was nice, but it is a steep trail and stairs. The second to last step to the beach was not attached and resulted in a hard fall for our first person going to the beach. Luckily it was a 20 something and not one of the 60 somethings. Management responded right away to our call about our tv and step issues, but the tv soution was that they needed to remove "cable available" from the property discription", He was going to come right back with his tools to fix the step, but the step was still free floating when we left four days later.

The view and proximity to Friday Harbor are excellent. While the unit was very clean, the property is not well maintained. Furnishings were mix-and-match, worn-out, and felt less than clean. Mattresses are worn-out. Two bathrooms and the downstairs bedroom have windows with no covering. While this is a remote area, it's uncomfortable feeling that others might see in. Landscaping is not maintained either. Removing a couple of key branches would significantly improve the views. We enjoyed our stay but did think much of the property.

Awesome place for kicking back and viewing.
Our stay with our family of 4 young men and 2 couples was great. We borrowed an Aerobed from our son and everyone had enough sleep space. Just as advertised and clean.

Perfect spot for our weekend visit
We booked this property to attend a wedding at Saltwater Farm. The location was perfect, and the house was so comfortable with beautiful views from every room. We explored the rocky coast in our backyard at low tide and sat out on the patio enjoying the weather and the scenery.
