It was okay for two adults and a dog for the night. Great location in Cannon Beach, but the property definitely needs some updating and a deep clean. Broken tiles in the shower, blind twist rod held together by electrical tape, torn screen, etc. The ventilation in the cabin was also horrible! Very little air flow, even with all the windows open, and it was so hot in there! Would have been more comfortable if a fan was available. Glad we only stayed one night.
5.0
A perfect little cabin, so quiet at night and right next to the beach
2.0
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is in disrepair. The floor of the shower had pieces of tile missing, the sink had no stopper, the ceiling fan was coated with dust like it hadn't been wiped for YEARS. The living room rug was spotted like it had been wet at some point and never shampooed. The heater in the living room was on and there was no way to shut it off despite it being warm out. The portable "fans" hardly blew air. The kitchen was clean and the kitchen ware was plentiful. I would not stay here again unless I knew all the cottages had been updated.

The cottage itself was quaint and quite adequate for the price point. It was enough space for my husband and I. We would have liked to have seen the courtyard in better shape. The BBQ gazebo was nice, but there were no flowers or seating to make you want to use the space. Overall, a good experience, but could use a little "touchup".

My husband and I stayed two nights. We had been in the Tolovana Inn for a week prior, so this was delightfully quiet….no running children over head or dogs barking when left in the room.

Great location, central to everything. Will be back

The cabin is nice and dog friendly. It is a bit small but well appointed.

The location and coziness of the cottage was great. I just didn’t appreciate the ants in the bathroom that maintenance didn’t feel was important enough to come out the same day to fix the problem

Kitchen, so cute. Table for 2. Porch with chair outside to see birds on fountain. Nice bed, great location. Perfect for one or two.

This house was great for a couple and two larger dogs. Having the kitchen was nice. Location is great as one can walk two blocks to the beach. A little further walk to restaurants, shops, and breweries.

We have a wonderful time in the hidden village. It is perfect for those who want to be in walking distance of Cannon Beach and all the local shops. We loved being able to cool meals during our stay and have a spot that was so peaceful even the frogs would sing outside at night.

This cute little place has potential and my daughter loved the idea and look of it, which is why I ignored some of the reviews and took a chance. It’s cute, but that’s about it. Couch is uncomfortable and run down. Bed isn’t too bad. More than once we struggled finding parking. Not sure if people had extra cars, but there weren’t enough spots. Wi-Fi didn’t work, cable didn’t work and ants are EVERYWHERE. We had to keep all food in the fridge and still had ants on everything, including us. I would not stay here again unless I was positive this was taken care of. Location is GREAT.

I know there have been grievances in the past with other customers who have experienced cleanliness issues; we should have heeded their warnings. We were met with a strong odor and ants in the kitchen, bathroom, and on/in the bed. I have been trying to contact with the customer service number provided to figure out how to get a refund for the appalling room conditions we were met with. So far they have given me the run around… “our manager has been alerted to this inquiry” and “we will get back to you…” Ultimately we felt that this situation would not be taken care of and drove three hours back home. I will not be using this vacation rental company again and will urge anyone I can to do the same.

I loved how central this location was, it was situated close to both the beach and the north side of Canon Beach, which made it extremely easy to walk everywhere. I also liked the fact that it wasn’t on the main road, which gave me a bit more privacy.

The cottage was a delight. Great location 2 blocks from beach and about a quarter mile (walking distance) to shops and amazing foods.

Overall the experience was lovely. Very nice quiey area, close to the beach , cozy little cottage with everything youd need during your stay.

Place needs some TLC. I was disappointed that the TV was terribly difficult to use and that I was given the wrong email password.
Having said that, it is a nice little cabin in a nice little neighborhood and not far from restaurants and the beach.

This was the perfect place for us and our dogs for a weekend in Cannon Beach. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Can’t wait to stay again!

It was so close to the beach!

The place was dirty. Sheets had a big stain and hair but we brought our own sheets to cover the bed. Dead bugs stuck on the walls and cobwebs all over the place. Mold growing in window seal. Musty smell but we brought air freshner to help. There is also a animal maybe a squirrel or worse a rat definitely lives in the attic that kept us up at night. Other than that it was a quite place even though there were others vacationing there in the other cottages. Close to beach and the state park for hiking. Town is lovely. I do believe since we had the experiences we had we will try a different vacation company to book here in future.

TV only had 1 channel and DVD did not work. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. Maintenance came over and could not fix the TV, did not even look at sink. Spend a little bit more and stay at a reputable place.

A small but well-appointed and charming cottage. Comfortable for 2 people. Perfect location close to everything yet very quiet.

TV displayed one channel only. Many attempts to use all remotes to find cable or other channels failed. Call Vacas number several times and placed on hold and no one answered my call. Check-in instructions suggest texting Vacasa number for help with rental unit. I texted many times and got no help, as it is clear that the texting chat is computer generated and not set up to solve any problems. One text did share that the unit I rented was advertised as having cable television. I found no cable TV. It would be fair if I were to receive a partial refund.

Nice little space for 2 people. Furniture wasn’t as much seating as in pictures in line. We had a few sugar ants in our bed at night but totally enjoyed the sound of frogs outside at night. It was a great location not far from haystack rock.

The cabin was very quaint and extremely clean, well set up and easy to locate. The check-in process was very easy and as an added bonus the outdoor Landscaping was beautiful and the serenade of frogs in the evening was very delightful. Just a few comments (not at all complaints) it would have been nice if there would have been some sort of written instruction upon entering the cabin discussing how to utilize the heating systems and possibly a sign mentioning that the gas fireplace was broken. Also, it was very mildly displeasing that exactly 10:00 a.m. sharp at checkout time there was a maintenance person knocking on the door making sure we had left. I understand that 10:00 a.m. is the checkout time but I didn't necessarily feel like having somebody standing right on the porch at exactly 10:00 a.m. was a good feeling. overall it was a great experience and i would.live to stay there again.

This place was just ok. It was a little more than a block away from the beach so that was nice. The outside is nicely decorated. The kitchen had most everything you need.
On to the bad - The place is dog friendly, which is code for smells like dog and to be honest the place could use a deep cleaning. Lots of dog hair throughout, a small vacuum was luckily in the corner. When we turned on the bathroom fan we got smells of a combination of fish+poop, once we figured out it was the fan we didn't turn it back on. The loveseat and chair you can feel every coil, not very comfortable. You also can't see the tv from the bed, which normally wouldn't be an issue but since the couch wasn't comfortable it was kinda annoying. My wife and I came down for a long weekend but we left a day early because her asthma was acting up from the smells. I honestly don't like to leave negative reviews but I think I would pass on staying at this place again if I had the choice.

I wouldn’t really recommend this place unless you are traveling with multiple dogs.
The location was great, very walkable and convenient to the beach, food and coffee.
The place was very small, The carpets were stained and dirty, and the smell of dogs was unmistakable. The furniture was all mismatched thrift finds. Shower temperature and pressure were good, bathroom was tiny. I’ll pay a little more to stay somewhere nicer next time I’m in Cannon Beach.

This stay is quaint and enjoyable. It was the perfect size for me and my pup. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 people/ 1 person and a dog. The walk to the beach was super short and easy and made the stay even that much better. In warmer weather, a walk downtown would be easy as well. Lots to do in town and surrounding areas!

Smelled horribly of wet dog.
Anything on the kitchen counter had ants on it.
Couch and chair were in very rough condition.
Microwave didn’t work.

Opened melted soap in shower. With plastic wrapper right next to it. Clean? Not so sure. You be the judge. Great location for sure.

Had a great time for a quick couple of days at Cannon Beach. Great location with east access to beach and restaurants.
The only issue that caused a lesser rating for cleanliness was due to an odor of pet urine. Understanding it is a pet friendly place I might suggest hardy plank or tile flooring for ease of mopping and keeping odor down from pet accidents. Also having a portable fan option to move around with no air conditioning.
Otherwise bed was comfy and place was very cute. Iwe enjoyed our stay. .

I loved my little cottage. It was just right for me. The kitchen had tons of cookware and I could have done a gourmet meal!! Next time I’ll plan ahead and book longer!!

Great Location
These cottages are in a great location. 2 blocks from the beach and just a few blocks to the start of town, easy walking distance. Great for our two dogs. Easy getting the dogs outside, a great grassy place behind the cottage.
These cottages are small, but had plenty of room for us to entertain two friends. Kitchen has everything you would need. If the weather is nice, they have a nice seating area outside, which we were lucky enough to enjoy while there.

Good little spots, in walking distance from beach
Great house! No roku, so no Netflix or any other form of streaming so we watched TV on our phones. Bring games if the weather isn’t supposed to be nice but great location and very clean!

Super cute cabin within walking distance to the beach
This was the perfect little cabin for our little getaway. Super cozy for a couple just looking to escape. Loved the fireplace feature and the cabin was extremely well stocked with towels and supplies. I would recommend it to anyone.

Rustic but clean and very close to the beach and Haystack Rock with tide pools and birds!

Quiet getaway
My husband and I so loved that the property was just off the beaten path so we could still walk to eateries and shops. It was very clean and cozy for a night away. We couldn’t connect to the wifey, but it was honestly a pleasant surprise that we enjoyed for the night.

Great for couple with pup
This was a great little cottage for us and our pup. The location is perfect as it's a quick walk to the beach and close to the market, shops, and restaurants. We walk a lot and Cannon Beach is very dog friendly which is why we love it there.
I would recommend bringing your zip locks, etc. for food storage if you have groceries and plan on cooking. Also, there isn't a lot of space for luggage, no dresser, and no closet so keep the packing light. We travel in backpacks so it wasn't a problem for us. The bathroom only has a shower, no tub so if you have a sandy pup after the beach it's best to have puppy bath wipes to clean them up outside.
If there was anything I would've liked to have had in addition to what was already there I would say a sheet pan, an extra roll of paper towels, and a bath mat. Overall though it's a very affordable and great little place. We'll be back!
