We enjoyed our stay even in the cold , cold weather!

This property was quiet, cozy, clean, and comfortable. This was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle and just spend time with family and nature. We definitely will be back!

It was a great weekend! Cabin was nice and cozy. Well stocked! Hot tub was amazing.

While this was our first trip to Blue Ridge, it will definitely not be our last and we will stay here again. The location is very quiet and you actually feel like you are on acreage and alone but this cabin is centrally located in the middle of Blairsville and Blue Ridge and you are conveniently able to go to either town and eat, shop or just visit. The owners are phenomenal and easy to work with.

Enjoyed Bear Cove with family of 8. Nice and quiet and easy to get to without having to use a 4W drive! Would definitely recommend to others.

The place was perfect!! My family and I enjoyed our stay so much. Seth is so easy to work with. The cabin has everything you need.

We traveled to the area to attend family weekend at YHC with my son. I have been visiting this area since I attended YHC in the early 90s. The direction and travel to the cabin were excellent. The cabin had plenty of space for the family to spread out (4 teens and 2 adults ). We had no problem with wifi or the TVs (this made the teens very happy). We would definitely rent the cabin again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Lots of privacy and quiet! We loved listening to the little creek that runs through the property. Very neat and clean, perfect location, close to lots of falls and hiking areas as well as, popular in town attractions. Make sure you go by Mercier farms and grab some treats to enjoy at your cabin. The drive way might be a little difficult for some smaller cars, we were in a truck so it was fine for us. Communication with property manager was easy. Will definitely stay again!

The property, home and facilities were wonderful. Communications with the property manager were outstanding. We had a wonderful time exploring this part of Georgia and the chalet was a great place to lay our heads. The only negative comment I would make is if you are tall getting in and out of bed could be difficult as the bed and the bathroom are in the peak of the roof. The chalet is located approx 30 minutes from blue ridge or Blairsville so do you shopping before you head up the mountain. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a full meal. Smoker and grill was a great addition, and the hot tub was clean and well maintained we would highly recommend the place Thanks

My girlfriend and I stayed 5 wonderful nights here. It is a great place to unplug and unwind! If you go in the Fall, beware of the falling acorns! Lol. The cabin is clean, the furniture, especially the bed, is comfortable, and just about everything you need in the kitchen. Seth has pretty much covered everything with an easy up canopy, plenty of towels, air mattresses, bug zapper, and much more. We are sorely missing it already!

My only complaint would be that the check out time online says 11 am but the time on the rental agreement says 10 am.... not a big deal at all and did not mention to the property manager because it did not affect our stay. Would highly recommend and would live to come back!. Lots of activities to enjoy very close by!

The cabin was great and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was the perfect size for a small family. Sitting on the deck with my morning coffee was peaceful. We felt very at home here. Seth was easy to get ahold of and answered my emails quickly. Great place!

This cabin is the perfect combination of being beautifully secluded in the woods, with no views of neighbors and georgeous trees and a natural spring/creek on property, but within walking distance of Lake Nottelly and the Nottelly Boat Club, allowing the kids to rent kayaks, SUPs and pontoon boats. If you walk up the mountain there are miles of boyscout trails, aa the Woodruff Boyscout camp is adjacent to the mountain. Well appointed cabin and the host, Seth was great!

We enjoyed the hot tub and cabin. We weren't ever able to log onto wifi though. It took the password but wouldn't let us sign on. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at Bear View Cove. The cabin was perfect and the area was so welcoming! There are many great wineries close by to visit and we look forward to visiting the Lake Nottely Marina next spring, which is located at the bottom of the mountain. Seth was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. I would highly recommend Bear View Cove for your next mountain getaway!!

I had a very enjoyable 3 week stay at Bear View Cove. It was secluded, but close to Lake Nottely and to a nice walking path. We were able to rent a pontoon boat, swim at the lake beach, and get exercise within 3 miles of the cabin. The king size bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The deck and outdoor table were so nice also. The owner and property manager were very helpful, though there were no major problems. I would stay there again.

Bear view cove is a great place to stay. The home itself is quaint and we'll taken care of and has all the amenities of home. Perfect location for seclusion, but close enough to activities, (Orchards, winerys, Antique hunting, water activities ,Blue Ridge train and much more.). We wished we could have stayed forever.

We were looking for a secluded getaway for some much needed downtime. Bear View Cove was very clean and inviting. The hot tub was heavenly. We were disappointed that there was no mountain view from the deck as the photo on the ad showed. The trees have grown since the photo was taken. In the fall I'm sure the view is wonderful. We did enjoy exploring the quaint town of Blairsville and the surrounding areas. Overall it was a great stay.

Bear View Cove was the perfect location for our long weekend getaway! It's private and secluded. No worrying about the neighbors peeping in. The decor makes the house feel comfortable and cozy. Perfect for reading a good book or snuggling on the couch. And it's only a short drive to blue ridge for dinner or brewery tours, a few local wineries and some tubing. Was exactly what we needed!

My husband and I spent a week at Bear View Cove for our anniversary. The cabin was immaculately clean and well-stocked with everything we needed (linens, dishes, Wi-fi, Direct TV, cold A/C, etc..). Lots of nice shaded areas to relax, especially the 2 rocking chairs on the front deck. The hot tub was great and very relaxing in the evenings. Only a short commute to downtown Blairsville (You must have breakfast at The Hole in the Wall Café....it's southern home cooked food in a friendly atmosphere). Seth was phenomenal in meeting all of our needs and accommodating us during our stay! He strives to exuberate premier customer service and assures that his guests are comfortable throughout their entire stay. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 6 nights at the Bear View Cove and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The cabin is easily accessible yet once there, you feel completely secluded in your private mountain retreat. The kitchen is well stocked and allowed us to cook all of our meals during the week. The hot tub and fireplace were the perfect end to each evening. While it was nice to feel unplugged and secluded, you still had access to very fast wifi if needed. There was a wide selection of channels available via Dish Network. The cabin is literally minutes from Nottely Boat Club Marina where we rented a pontoon for 4 hours to relax in spectacular lake views while trying our hand at fishing. Within an hour's drive, there were so many sights to explore: Brasstown Bald, Helton Creek Falls, Vogel State Park, Desoto Falls, Helen (a unique Bavarian alpine town), Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, and Odom Springs Vineyard. The cabin is very tastefully decorated and had the most comfortable king bed! We were able to sleep in every morning and feel completely recharged. To sum it up, The Bear View Cove was the perfect choice for a private, relaxing mountain retreat. I highly recommend it!

It was super cozy, quiet and it was also very clean. My kids loved it! We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bear View Cove. Seth was very helpful and easy to work with on the rental process. The house was easy to find and is pretty much secluded from view even though there are a few houses in the area. The house was stocked with basically anything you could need, the only exception I found was I needed a cookie sheet/baking pan to make some biscuits and could not find one in the kitchen. Every other type of pot/pan/skillet and even some glass bakeware (which is what I used). Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this home again in the future. There was even music playing on the tv as we entered the home. Nice little touches that show the owner cares. To address one review below who said the sheets were less than fresh, they have been replaced and are fabulous! I even looked for the tag to see what kind they were as I want some for my home! Thank you, Seth, for working with me on a last minute, short notice rental. It was the weekend getaway we both needed!

We had a wonderful time at Bear View Cove. Property is secluded, but still an easy drive to town. The house is very comfortable and the kids didn't want to leave! Thanks for a great stay!

This place really was a "home away from home" ! When we arrived, the cabin was immaculate with EVERYTHING you needed made available to you. We should have left a whole suitcase worth of items at home ! In the kitchen there was every kind of cleaning solution you would possibly need. Also, three kinds of coffee (including decaf !), sugar, S & P, paper towels, etc. Also, two different kinds of bug repellent, and AVON SkinSoSoft and a flashlight on a shelf by the back door. In the bathroom downstairs, there were bars of soap, cotton balls, Q-Tips, etc. The washer/dryer and laundry detergent/dryer sheets were in this bathroom closet, as well as at least a dozen nice, fluffy towels and washcloths. In the living room, we enjoyed the comfy leather furniture and the many channels available on the TV. (My 15 yr old son was in heaven, as we only have basic cable at home!) We also enjoyed using the Scrabble game made available, along with a few others. Upstairs, we slept so well on the comfortable beds. Also nice to have a half bath to use in the night up there! Outside, we enjoyed the outdoor fireplace while star gazing and listening to the night sounds of the mountains...mostly crickets! We mostly went to relax, but, did go over to Helen to tube down the stream one day (best to go after a rain, when the water level is higher) and I DO recommend you get the $5 stick they offer to help push yourself away from the banks and rocks and bring old tennis shoes or water shoes, as you will most likely need to disembark your tube to find deeper water! Ate at Paul's...decent steak/chicken dishes...a little pricey. Also went to Vogel State Park (nice trails and swimming "beach"...one waterfall...cheap!) In Dahlonega, we visited the little shops and ate at The Smith House - they serve family style (no menus) and keep the food coming until you are full! (About $20.00 each, but, includes beverages and dessert)Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. The neighbors were friendly and even shared some homegrown tomatoes with us! When making our arrangements, we got super speedy responses from Seth who also kept his word and refunded our security deposit the same day we left.
