This was our second stay at Los Encantos and it was just as wonderful as the first. We can't wait to be back again!

This was one of the best managed and most beautiful properties that we have rented through vrbo. The 2 storey 3 bedroom 4 bath Belizian villa was everything that we hoped for. Located right on the beach with an unrestricted view of the Caribbean Sea, bonefish and tarpon flats out front. The well maintained property featured a central courtyard with large saltwater pool and area to lounge in the sun. This is a very quiet remote property that is close to some great restaurants and grocery store. From the outset, our conversations with the owner were helpful, friendly and informative. The property management group made all of the arrangements for our pick up and drop off at the airport and arranged for a golf cart to be dropped off for our use while on the island. What a great spot. We will be returning.

Hands down easiest 5 star review! This was our first international vrbo rental and it could've been any easier and amazing. From start to finish Janice worked with us to ensure a seamless rental process. She even scheduled our round trip peddle jumper from Belize City to San Pedro (fantasitc airline - Tropic Air), had our driver meet us at the airport upon arrival for a hassle free arrival. It was like having a travel agent! *Scheduling our peddle jumper and driver service to/from airport was included in our rental. Upon arrival at Los Encantos, Harley met us with instructions and was available on property for all our home needs (he even proactively replaced one of our rooms ac before we even knew it was needed). He was always there to keep the grounds meticulous and remove garbage and refill our 5 gallon drinking water. Veronica came every other day to clean our home & replace bath and beach towels during our stay. She was so sweet and never interrupted our routine as she cleaned up. The home was amazing. Perfect for our family of 5 with plenty of space & a large kitchen stocked very well. We had everything we needed to prepare food and drinks. The views from the balcony were beyond words. This place is paradise! Clinton with Ali Mermaids took us out snorkeling and fishing and then bbq our fish and made us a delicious meal. I highly recommended booking with Clinton (5 stars!). We snorkeled among coral reef, string rays, and nurse sharks!

This condo was perfect for us. The property grounds were beautifully maintained and the caretaker was very helpful. The house was clean, comfortable with a gorgeous view and and in a quiet but convenient location. Met local guide Clinton when we arrived and he and his crew made our trip. We were so happy with him we used him for 2 snorkeling excursions and a trip to Xunantunich and cave tubing.

We stayed at this beautiful house over spring break and had the best time. The house is huge and has everything you could possibly need from board games, beach towels, and a well stocked kitchen. Harly and Nevia keep the grounds and the house in great condition and are there for anything you might need. We took Janice up on her offer to book our flights from the Belize airport, our airport transfer, as well as have a golf cart waiting for us at the house; we didn't have to worry about managing multiple bookings. This was super helpful. Nevia gave us directions to local stores for food, and they put us in touch with Clinton to book our tours. During our stay we did a snorkelling/Caye Caulker trip, diving, and my husband went fishing. We also went to Secret Beach and tried multiple restaurants in San Pedro. This was a memorable trip we'll be talking about for a long time. Thank you to Sue and Martin for sharing this wonderful place with us!

We found this location to be perfect. It was a smaller setting with only 4 villas on site, but this allowed us to interact with other people also staying but not feel like we were caught in a crowd. I have rented other locations in San Pedro and Caye Caulker and while enjoyed those trips, this was a calm beautiful piece of paradise to enjoy. My friends and I enjoyed our time here, we found the staff and property manager to be so professional, friendly and simply welcoming. We found them to respond quickly and efficiently to any questions we had. Janice was so great at helping me to coordinate transfers of my friends to the airport and changing at the last minute. Nevia and Harley were so attentive and helpful. The grounds and villa are so well kept, assisted with laundry, setting up barbeque, helping us to coordinate on site massuese on the verandah etc. This was relaxing, fun easy to get to other restaurants and small local beachside bars. Dive shop nearby as well as easy for other dive shops to stop and pick up at the end of the pier. This was a pleasure, saltwater pool, huge windows with beautiful views, peaceful relaxing, I want to live here and never leave......you won't want to leave either. This was wonderful experience we will all remember for a long time.

We stayed 10 days and enjoyed the house and the island. Staff was excellent! Secret Beach is our favorite!

Overall, this was a great location to unwind and relax. It was quiet, visually stunning, peaceful and tranquil. What was lacking was the hospitality. As the sole Black folks who were staying in these villas at the time, we got looks, stares (even my children) and the cold shoulder from Harley, who works there). One of the property managers only engaged with us to implore us to book tours. We eventually did book tours but on our own, because we felt more comfortable. Hospitality can be greatly improved at this location. I will return to Belize, but I will not stay here due to how we were treated overall.

Everything was great! All our questions were quickly answered before our trip, Trish gave us some very helpful tips and suggestions. We were late for our planned boat ride and showed up later and our driver was patiently waiting for us. Managers were really nice and helpful, the property has the best territory in the area, so beautiful, clean and neat! Our trip was in Feb-March, we didn’t see any mosquitoes. The house was nice and clean and we had enough of space for 6 adults! We will definitely recommend the villa and hope to come back again!

Our stay was amazing! The house is great and well-equipped! Couldn’t have asked for better. The location is a little too far out of town. You definitely need a golf cart to get around.

We had a wonderful visit, and the house was as advertised. Nevia and Harley were very personable caretakers, and Nevia made us a wonderful dinner the first night of our arrival which we ate for days, so much food! The temperature was perfect while we were there also. Clinton was our excursion and history guru extraordinaire when he took us to Altun Ha and then cave tubing in the afternoon, what an amazing day! Secrets beach was another fun day, a bar on the beach with tables literally out in the water. We had a blast and will be back again to Belize in the future!

This the 2nd time we have stayed at this property! Our last stay was prior to the addition to the kitchen and the added space on the main floor. This is a fantastic property, the managers are great and were there to answer questions. The pool is always clean and big enough for everyone. Being right on the beach is wonderful for daily walks! We would absolutely recommend this property.

Everything about Los Encantos was perfect. The location was great, the house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable for our 5 guests. Kitchen roomy and well stocked. Caretakers Nevia and Harley were so friendly and helpful. The management company was very helpful. Awesome salt water pool. Our tour and fishing guides picked us up at the dock in front of the house. Rented a golf cart to get around the Caye from north to south and the house wasn’t too far from San Pedro. Breakfast burritos delivered every morning! Good restaurants within walking distance or a short golf cart ride.

We used 25% Deet bug spray and still had many, many bites • the 3 bikes on the property are completely rusted and had flat tires. Harly pumped the tires for us and then on our first ride one of the chains broke in half and we had to walk the bikes home • the golf cart cost $300 USD for the week and was horribly slow. They should use a different golf cart company. We were always passed on the road by all the other carts and our first trip into San Pedro, we got a flat tire. It takes 20 minutes to get into town.

This was a wonderful vacation, the house was amazing! Pool, Ocean, Harly and his family were the absolute best! Thank you so much for renting the house out so people like us could enjoy this perfect setting.

We fell in love with Villa Del Mar! It just seemed like the perfect setup for our group of 3 couples! The house, the staff, the location worked perfectly for our group. Every morning we would get up and sit on the deck and say to each other, "Just Another Day in Paradise!" Why was this house so perfect? There are a number or resorts north of San Pedro, but Villa Del Mar is part of the 4 house compound, Los Encantos, that shared a dock and a pool. We loved having the individual privacy of this house and the space that it provided. The house itself is beautiful and very high quality with a huge living room/dining room that opens up onto the 2nd story deck. We spent most of our time on the deck as it was a great place to watch the sunrise, look out over the water, a great place to read or just visit, and was always cooled by the easterly sea breeze. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate all our breakfasts and most of our lunches at the house. We would suggest that they add a muffin pan and a few more options of baking pans for the future. (For muffins and brownies) The two bedrooms downstairs were wonderful with King Beds and private baths. A third bedroom upstairs had a queen bed with its own private bath, and additionally there is a half bath in the living room. We were initially concerned that the couple in the upstairs bedroom wouldn't have very much privacy, but the living room is so large they were never disturbed by people in the living room. Each room has its own separate air conditioning unit and was very comfortable. The beach area is picturesque but not usable as a beach entry into the water. The water is very shallow and mucky. You need to walk to the end of the dock to get to waist high water. Its like that all along the Ambergris Caye east coast and so we really enjoyed the beautiful salt water pool. Ambergris Caye was having a massive seaweed problem while we were there and that was our only disappointment. We went diving several times and used White Sands Dive Shop and they just came and picked us up from the dock. We also spent several days at Secret Beach which is 3 miles and a very bumpy gold cart ride (25 minutes) on the west coast of Ambergris Caye. The water there was fantastic and having food and drinks delivered to your chair was heaven. The caretakers Harley and Nevia were fantastic and helped us out at very step. We couldn't have been more pleased with our short visit to Paradise.

A private slice of heaven. One of 4 villas that share a sweet salt water pool and beach front. Although you can't really swim or snorkel directly off the beach because it's kind of mucky and full of sea grass in places on this side of the caye there are spots close by you can kayak out to reef. We were well cared for by Nevia and Harley.

Thank you for sharing your amazing villa with us! This property is everything and more the owners report it to be. They are being modest by saying its a piece of paradise. It's the whole pie! The villa is large, immaculate, nicely decorated and fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. Every inch of the property is manicured from back to beach. Large comfortable beds, walk-in showers, plush towels, A/C and more! The kitchen is large and spacious with virtually everything you need to prepare your meals. Dozens of books, games and puzzles to keep you occupied between excursions. The water is warm and shallow enough to swim, wade, snorkel or fish. Ambergris Caye is a sought after destination for world class Fly-Fishing and you can do it from this very shore line! It's a fisherman's dream! The Villa is located about 4.5 miles north of San Pedro, right on the beach, making it a perfect place to stay to relax in quiet comfort and close enough to town to make trips for supplies a breeze with your rented cart (which we found very useful). Several companies in San Pedro rent these for about $50 USD/day or $200/week on average. You can also rent bicycles but why, there are bikes available at the Villa! A little grocery store is also nearby (300 meters or so), called Mata Grande, and the little restaurant beside it has the best chicken quesadilla and burrito we've ever had! (Their homemade salsa is fantastic!) The Villa caretakers Harly and Nevia are friendly and gracious. They assisted us with countless questions, advice and referrals. They have extensive knowledge of the area and go out of there way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. Besides the house keeping, Nevia is also an amazing cook! Ask about their Belizian style BBQ chicken! Many excursions can be arranged with a pick up right at your personal dock. Even the local Coastal Express water taxi service is literally at your front door. We highly recommend a trip to the Reef (second largest in the world) to snorkel or dive. The variety and quantity of marine life is out of this world! If you're a scuba diver, the "Blue Hole" is about a two hour boat ride away. We took part in a "fly-over" excursion to the Blue Hole with Tropic Air (apx. $500 USD for two), about an hour total (15 mins over the natural wonder alone), and it was worth every penny! (Very back seats are the best). We highly recommend this Villa to friends and family! It's "Unbelizable"!

The on sight management team were great. I do recommend taking advantage of a home cooked meal from Nabia and Harley was great as well. The only suggestion I have is some additional blankets. We stayed in Mid January and it was 60’s/low 70’s nights were chilly.

I stayed here for 3 weeks with my husband and two young children aged 2 & 4. First of all the villa is amazing, it is true home from home very well maintained and equipped and very very comfortable. There is an onsite caretaker Harly and his wife who were able to organise everything we wanted. We went snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, para sailing and visited many of the local bars and restaurants. We were also able to cook on site and use the BBQ. The property is 4 miles north of town but easily accessible by golf cart (60$ per day) or the local water taxi (7$ each way per person) Most afternoons were spent either lazing or playing in the pool. Prior to booking this holiday I was concerned about my two young children and how child friendly the property would be but it was just perfect so I needn't have worried. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property with amazing views. Perfect for an Anniversary Trip for us and two other couples. The caretakers made sure we had everything we needed. Downstairs bathrooms were huge with awesome showers. The pool was almost always empty and perfect for kicking back. Property is quite a ways from the town of San Pedro, so golf cart is highly recommended. Only downside to this trip was that some beaches on the island were smelly and had lots of garbage and sargassum accumulating. Sounds like this is a relatively new problem that the island is still learning to maintain. The beach at this property was very nice and didn't ever smell. I would definitely recommend Villa del Mar to anyone searching for a relaxing getaway!

Very comfortable. Plenty of room, bathrooms. Great view. Hosts are great. Absolutely no complaints. We even loved the adventure of using golf carts to get to our scuba dives and going to Secret Beach, town, bird watching.

First impression is spectacular as you come into the compound and it opens up to the beautiful sea view. The dwellings are fresh and clean outside and lovely inside. This unit - Villa Del Mar interior was very spacious & cozy at the same time as we shared with 2 other couples. Loved all the art work of local artist's and made it unique. The Care Takers - Harly and Nevia keep the facility neat and clean. They were very helpful with daily needs, arrangements(Clinton Tours thank you) and questions answered. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and hope to return. We would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

We stayed at the villa for almost 6 days with two other couples. The place is perfect for that many people. Every couple had a bedroom and bath plus the living/kitchen/dining rooms work very nicely for common space. The deck with hammock off the living room is a great place to spend time. The kitchen is well equipped and although we ate our main meals of the day out you could easily cook a meal with what is provided. The saltwater pool shared by the 4 villas in the complex is a nice place to spend time as are the lounge chairs at various locations around the property. The villa is well cared for and Harly & Nevia the caretakers had everything ready for us when we arrived. They also can contact Clinton Tours for you to arrange a variety of tours which he can do for you. We did a snorkeling trip with him and he is very professional. This is the third time two of our group have stayed at this villa and we would return in a heartbeat.

Our week at Villa Del Mar (Los Encantos) was absolutely wonderful. We are looking forward already to a return trip. The Villa was everything we were hoping for, and more. The on site caretakers Harley and Nevia enhanced the experience even further with their attention to all our needs and always cheerful nature. We very much needed somewhere to get away and recharge. We just left after staying for a week. The villa was amazing, beautiful views of the sea, very comfortable and comes with everything you need. The caretakers Harley and Nivia made us feel right at home from the minute we stepped off the boat, and they have the cutest dog named Toby whom we all feel in love with immediately. Location is perfect, quick access to San Pedro either by boat or golf cart, and a grocery store right down the road if you want to stay in. We pre ordered our groceries and everything was all stocked in the house when we arrived. There is so much to do and see from excursions to massages under the palopo. One of the best vacations ever. I highly recommend staying here.

Me, my husband, and 2 other couples stayed at villa del mar in los encantos June 2016. We had one of the best vacations of our lives. The house: This house is perfectly suited for 3 couples. It has 3 large bedrooms, all with their own en suite bathroom as well as another full bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could ask for. The balconies allowed for unlimited relaxation. Everything was nicely decorated and furnished and very comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice!!! Trust me. This place is gorgeous. There was only one other couple there at the same time and it was as if we had the entire grounds to ourselves. The pool was beautiful. Our favorite outside amenity was the private dock over the water. We spent countless hours out on the deck drinking cocktails and chatting about everything! The caretakers: Our caretakers were new to our property and had only worked and live there about 2 weeks before we arrived. We would have never known the difference. They took care of anything we needed. Carly unloaded all of our luggage and delivered fresh jugs of water to us whenever needed. Nebia took care of the cleaning every other day and when we went fishing she prepared our meal with the rush at our condo with a bunch if traditional Belize sides for just $25 Belize per person. They have 2 adorable daughters who are very careful to never be "in the way" but will always engage in discussion when you initiate it. They also have the cutest dog ever named Toby who kept watch over the grounds all night! Favorite activities: Fishing and snorkeling through white sands dive shop is a must. They are great, inexpensive, and pick you up and drop you off to your dock. Also, renting golf carts is a must. Trish at caye management will take care of this for you. She also will book the charter flight from Belize airport to San Pedro for you. Favorite restaurants: Estels El fogon Aji Truck stop Roja We hope to be back soon to enjoy this amazing place! Until then I hope others enjoy it as much as we did!
