Thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. Porch view was very relaxing. New kitchen & new bathrooms were very nice.The owner was very prompt on any questions/concerns. It is short 4 mile drive into Troutman & State Park is approx 3 miles away to visit.

We can’t fault a single thing. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel right at home. We can’t recommend this place highly enough Will be coming back— that’s for Sure

This was such a great place to stay on Lake Norman. Swimming. fishing, and raft floating occupied our days! We enjoyed the cabin feel of the home, sure it’s dated, but the 2nd level porch is where you will spend your time if you can pull yourself off the great dock and lake! We would book this place again for sure!

We had a wonderful time on our lake vacation. The house is dated, so don't expect something modern and it could use a good deep clean (cobwebs, etc.) We spent most of our time on the AMAZING dock, floating in the lake, and having a great time with the covered deck that offered shade and electric hookup. John was great to work with and communicated very quickly when we had questions. This is a great rental and a good price.

Had a great time at the lake last week. The house was very nice and had everything you need to make the week easy and pleasant. Great location. The upper deck was great for laying in the sun, very comfortable chairs. We enjoyed putting floats in water and had easy access to get into the water with the ladder on the dock. Beds were very comfortable and the porch overlooking the lake was great. Nice to have a grill to cook in several nights. The owner was very accommodating and was answered our questions in a very timely manner. I would recommend it to anyone looking to go to Lake Norman and will definitely go back again. It was a great week at the lake!!!

The house was very nice. The weather did not cooperate. The guys caught fish right off the dock.

Excellent location and a perfect setup for what we intended. Boat dock has 1 covered slip, and room for multiple boats along with power. Drive is large enough for multiple vehicles and boat trailers, with room to park the trailers separate from vehicles. House was roomy and comfy to come back to after spending full days on the water prepping and competing in the Big Bass Tour Tournament on Lake Norman. Pool Table provided an opportunity to unwind at the end of the day with friends. John was a great host, and stayed connected during our travel to and from the location as we traveled from Canada. We greatly appreciated everything, and recommend the rental. Thank you John and Kyna

We spent Christmas in this cozy home with a gorgeous view of Lake Norman -- and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The wood paneling gives the house an old-school lake house vibe, and the house had everything we needed for our family of four (with two teenagers), including a pool table downstairs. We spent a lot of time walking the neighborhood (great for running/walking/bicycling, with water views all around). We'd love to go back in the summer.

Great lakefront home with spectacular dock, grill, fire pit, pool table, and even a little Tiki Bar. It was perfect for our annual weekend golf getaway.

Location of home was good, however house was dated and lacked adequate lighting.

Lake Norman is the star. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with great access to Lake Norman. The lake is beautiful and we saw wonderful wildlife. Big Daddy’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Mooresville has great fresh sea food. However, the house is dated and dark. The lower level is almost spooky. Some of the furniture is broken.The beds were comfortable but the pillows are stained. The curtains in the master bedroom have a 6 inch gap between them. We attached pillow cases to the valance to block the gap. The house is not well supplied. There is less than ample supplies available. As a matter of fact the host request guests replace everything they use. When you travel close to 2,000 miles this is a ridiculous request. There was no furniture on the floating deck and none was made available. There were no directions on how to use the fireplace. With the condition of the house we were too scared to try it on our own. There is no kitchen area in the downstairs as is shown in the pictures.

We have stayed at this house twice. The fishing is great. The size and location of the house is perfect. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with.

We had a really nice stay. We enjoyed lounging by the water and hiking at the nearby state park.

The house was in a perfect location for us. Restaurants were nearby by boat. The dock was perfect for our boat and jet ski. Very deep, calm water for swimming. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. Definitely recommend for the price.

Third year we have stayed here - perfect location and one of the best docks in the Lake!

We had a wonderful stay and the property was perfect for our family! Our teenage sons both commented when we got to the property that it represented every lake movie house they had ever seen. Additionally the fishing was great off the dock especially if you like to catch Cat Fish. Would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Very spacious, clean, comfortable and so peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. Gorgeous well-appointed home. Enjoyed views from upper deck and swimming, eating, and feeding geese on well made extensive dock. Kitchen, dining, bedrooms and baths were fine; however, towels and some sheets need replacing. For a weeks stay need more towels. Requires minor interior maintenance and grounds need raking, weeding, trimming, and power washing. Nice fire pit but no seating around it. Suggest small tables on upper deck near chairs and grill to place drinks and plates on. Ample parking. Overall we had a great time in a beautiful home and location. With some fine tuning would be better worth the cost.

This was a piece of paradise. The house was just like pictures. The view was perfect. The boat dock was what every person with a boat could want. The owners responded immediately when I text them. I can not think of any negative feelings about our stay.

We had an absolute lovely stay at the lake. There was plenty of room for the whole family. The views were amazing and th area was peaceful. The kids spent the whole time either on the dock or in the water. We brought our kayaks and paddle board and just enjoyed hanging out with each other. Our one son live on Charlotte, so we know there’s lots to do there, but we never left the house. The kitchen had plenty pots and pans, plus the grill, that we cooked in every night. The owner, Mr John, was proactive in addressing things before we even knew about them. Right before check in he called to let me know there would be an electrician stopping by due to a fan not working in the kitchen. The electrician was professional, friendly, and efficient. He was in and out in no time. Mr John checked in later in the week to make sure we didn’t need anything. It was a wonderful 10 days that I wish we could do again sooner than next year.

A house right on the lake, great area on the dock for family to gather. Easy in dock slip, guys caught lots of fish. Liked plenty of off street parking. Best bathroom is downstairs.

The view from the house and the floating dock was great. However, the outside of the property was unkempt with overgrown bushes, weeds, grass, and leaves making the property appear abandoned. The inside of the property needed a deep cleaning. Windows and sills were filthy. Many areas of the house were very dusty. Half of the mini blinds didn't work. The overall smell of the house was musty and flat. The linens and sheets also smelled so musty/flat that I had to wash everything myself. I'm not the cleaning crew and shouldn't have had to do this in a time period when cleanliness/sanitizing is imperative. We found that we couldn't operate the microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven at the same time without blowing a breaker. One outlet in the kitchen appeared to be half out of the wall/unsafe with water so close by. We couldn't control the climate temperature as the system was shut off so it got as low as 65 degrees some evenings and as warm as 78 degrees some days in the house. Some ceiling fans didn't turn on due to the remotes not working. The basement was cold/damp as the dehumidifier had been turned off. Some glasses in the kitchen were so filmy/dirty, we bought plastic cups. When someone is paying, for 5 nights, what rental in an apartment is for a month in the general vicinity, we expected far more than this. Due to this experience, we're not sure we'll ever rent a Vrbo house again unless people we know have been there first.

The property is located on the lake in a sweet little town. We noticed quite a few spider webs inside the house, but for the most part clean. The only negatives to mention, not enough linens and towels and the mattress downstairs is very uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was quite spacious and offered an excellent view of the lake. All in our group enjoyed the layout and were able to enjoy the amenities. Our only concern was the lack of bath supplies(face clothes and towels). For a group of 7 adults there was only a one day supply and we were there for 4 days. We had to purchase additional items for the stay. But this did not affect our opinion of the stay. Everything was clean and ready for use. The Tiki Bar was a nice touch, however in the photos it was next to an additional kitchen area. When we arrived the kitchen area had been walled in. So perhaps updating the online photos would prevent this confusion. No big deal as we just decided to mix drinks upstairs in the kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again.
