Great location

Booking and check in were great, and it is a very nice location, you fell safe due to the security. The condo is spacious and in a great location! A little tlc is needed and a new housekeeper. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the balcony and the beach.

Christy was such a delight to work with and responded immediately to any questions. Loved the location and the view from the condo was super. My daughters really enjoyed their stay as well. We definitely will return.

Place had a great view. The place was clean and spacious and also they location was great nice place for the family to picnic and walking distance to the beach.

My family and I enjoyed NN-8 to the fullest. The views are spectacular from the sun deck and balcony. We had a few issues when we first arrived but Christy took care of everything right away so it never hindered our stay. Thank you again Christy.

The property was spacious and inviting. The beds were very comfortable and the view was awesome. One of the tv’s wouldn’t turn on, so I contacted the owner and a new tv was delivered within a few hours. The pool was great and the grounds were immaculate, not to mention the beach which was amazing! Location, location, location! Thanks Christy, we had a wonderful vacation.

I've stayed at Ocean Creek Resort 3 times already and NN8 was the best suitable for my family. We love it.

Nice escape after a hard and emotional weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed watching the tides change, the amazing sunsets, and seeing dolphins cruising the shoreline!! Every communication with the property owner were efficient and informative. Thanks for opening your home to our family!

This property was not only the perfect size for us (17 and 18 year olds each got their own bathroom), but there was a deck AND a terrace! We had constant access to a view of the ocean, and an easy walk (elevator, out the pool area, over the boardwalk) to the beach. Additionally, the property is just across the street from Barefoot Landing, with cute shops, eateries, an arcade, and turtles! I can't remember another vacation with the kids when I literally loved every minute of it!

Great views looking forward to a return trip.

The unit was dirty when we arrived. It needed a deep cleaning. There was black mold in the shower. Some of the furnishings are well beyond their useful life. The master bedroom bedspread was soiled. Ended up having to find a new another unit. Owner was very apologetic and said she would refund our money but we haven’t seen a refund yet.

great views, cozy beds and owner is very nice! coronavirus affected what we did while there and were able to get new DVD player (owner is reimbursing) so we had movies to watch while hunkering down in condo away from crowds. Would love to revisit when able to enjoy all the surrounding shops and restaurants!!!

Spectacular views from this unit! The unit could use a bit of TLC but it served us well and we would come back.

The property owner was very accommodating however we found the living room furniture quite uncomfortable. Dining room chairs were very heavy and uncomfortable as well. The king size beds were awesome. Splendid views from the decks. Were able to see dolphins from the deck as they were following the shrimp boats. The condo could use a thorough cleaning. There are cobwebs in the living room and the shower stall had mold that my husband had to clean.

This will definitely be the place I stay every time I come to Myrtle Beach! The room was amazing! The view was awesome. The beds were so comfortable. Everything was clean and neat. Everything you needed was right there in the room. Beach chairs, Toys for kids, umbrellas. The owner is super nice. This is the place to stay! I did not want to leave.

We came down to North Myrtle for a destination wedding. I picked this condo because it was very close to the wedding location and it had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I was extremely pleased with everything about staying here. The resort is beautiful. The condo has a wonderful view. It was very clean and the kitchen well equipped for cooking in. The pictures had showed a lot of wallpaper but most of it has been removed and repainted. The owner was only a text or call away. We had trouble with the Keurig not working and it was replaced within the day. Would definitely love to stay here again. It was wonderful for multiple families with each bedroom having its own bathroom. It had a lot of room so we didn't feel cramped at all. Just loved it!

We recently stayed here. The resort was easy to find. The condo had a great view of the beach. Everything was nice and clean. The owner was super nice. If we had questions, she would answer them promptly. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was just as advertised. There were six of us and we had plenty of room.

While the decorations (wallpaper) are a little dated the property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The two outside areas were great and both had spectacular unimpeded views of the coastline and spectacular sunsets. It is a real bonus that when one was windy the other was not. Both king beds were very comfortable.

On the positive side this condo had amazing views and very comfortable beds. However we spent the first full day of our vacation resolving multiple issues such as the keys not working in the locks reliably, a hair dryer that didn’t work, and getting access to the beach locker. Most disturbing was it seemed the unit had not been cleaned. There were clean towels on the beds, but walking on living room floor barefoot resulted in blackened feet. The kitchen floor had hair and grit, knobs and cabinets needed wiping down, sheets were bunched up in one bedroom as though bed had not been changed and stains were in bedding. Looked like toilet in one bathroom had a spot where someone had missed when using it. We spent the first morning mopping all floors, washing bed linens ( which washed out some of the stains) wiping down kitchen and cleaning bathrooms. By early afternoon we had rest of the issues resolved. The owner did respond promptly and worked with us to get that done. However, we asked for the cleaning fee to be refunded and as of today (15 days after request) no news on that despite A verbal and email request and opening a case the day we checked out with HomeAway. Spoke to HomeAway twice, but even though our prepayment went to HomeAway, the owner has to refund the cleaning fee. Pictures on the website were not current; unit needs a good deep clean, repairs and maintenance. We love the Ocean Creek Resort, but in future I will book through the resort and will be hesitant to use HomeAway again. Would not rent this unit again.

This place was awesome and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate my availability for a last minute get-away! There was plenty of room and everything was clean & neat. The view was more ocean view than ocean front but still a nice view. The extra deck was a big plus for us! This is definitely one of my favorite places to stay now! I hope to come back next summer for a longer stay!!

The owner was kind and addressed my concerns of her condo. There were several things that needed attention. The condo needs updated.

It is always amazing staying at Ocean Creek and we will not stay in any other condo than NN8. Beds are super comfy, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of space for everyone, unobstructed views of the beach on the south side, the great swash for when you want a quick dip but don’t want to battle waves, plenty of beach for all- not cramped in like sardines, the pools, outdoor showers, landscaping, proximity to restaurants and Bi Lo grocery store, great balcony furniture, and then there is the beautiful deck! So whether you plan to hunker in for the week or have little adventures- Ocean Creek is PERFECT! You will enjoy working with Christy the owner who is extremely prompt and very gracious about sharing her lovely home with her guests! Family friends came to Ocean Creek for first time this year renting a separate condo and fell in love. We are now planning next year’s trip! CANNOT WAIT!!! One quick note- since our prior trip in 2013 there is a new rule that you cannot have canopies or pop up tents only umbrellas on the beach. We were stunned by this since the reasoning is due to winds upending the tents yet several umbrellas did just that. So invest in one or two large beach umbrellas (Cool Cabanas on Amazon are very nice!) and a great beach cart and you will be all set to have a fabulous vacation! There again if you do prefer canopy- just cross the swash and you will have no issues or complaints by guards as literally there is no one on that side of beach, typically!
