This property is as wonderful as the reviews before me say. The communication was great with Bill. He was attentive to any issue we had and clearly has made great connections around here. We used his local lobsterman and had a great dinner, in addition to other recommendations! Cannot recommend this property enough!

Great location. House and surrounding area beautiful. Moderate access to a rock beach.

We've been vacationing in Maine for years as 2 families and as the kids have grown into adults I have to say this house is the perfect fit w/ so many bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The views were stunning and so relaxing and we even ended up swimming at the property way more than we expected. It was so cool to just randomly walk thru the living room and see the ferry crossing in the bay. Overall the location was great with easy access to Belfast, Camden, Rockland and we even ventured up to Acadia. Fantastic time had by all.

The house, location, view, property are all top-notch! One of the most spectacular views around. Rocky beach on-site that we kayaked from almost every day. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The deck is enormous and has plenty of furniture for spending time outside. The owner is responsive to questions and easy to reach. Definitely a high-end property and well worth it in every way.

This property is simply gorgeous and perfect for our family of 10 (ages 2-74) with plenty of room to spread out. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the water and listening to the sounds of the ocean. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Bill was easy to communicate with and the check in/out process is super easy.
We traveled to Acadia one day, (1 1/2 hrs away), spent a day at the Lincolnville beach, shopped in Camden and took the Ferry to Isleboro. We also had a daily trip to the waters edge to explore the rocks. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here.

The PERFECT home to enjoy a week in Maine. The house is beautifully situated, secluded with INCREDIBLE views. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed, a cook’s dream. The home wants for nothing. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was so beautiful it made it difficult to leave the property to go out and enjoy all the area has to enjoy, Camden, Belfast, state parks, great restaurants etc. We are already planning our next trip to Northport and the Connell’s dream property.

We were 5 senior ladies looking for relaxation in a beautiful environment and we found it at Bill’s property. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom on one floor. We toured one day and chilled at the house the next day. Day and night we were on the deck or on the Adirondack chairs around the property. The accommodations included everything you required. - Thanks Bill

I cannot say enough positive things about this house! It is beautiful, well-stocked, and we will never forget the view! The floor plan allowed privacy for each family (we were 2 families of 5), and the kids loved having the huge yard. We spent hours sitting on the deck watching boats and wildlife. The location is perfect! We rented cars and were easily able to take day trips up and down Maine's midcoast. Bill was very attentive and responsive. We cannot wait to visit again!

My husband and I stayed here in June 2020. We shared our stay with a couple of our best friends this time. We didn’t do much traveling, but did a boat ride from Rockland, shopping in Camden, a few restaurant trips in Lincolnville, Rockport, and Camden. We stayed and lounged at the house. The house has everything we needed with help from our grocery list filled from Hannaford Grocers. The view out the living room was always changing. We had sunny days and rainy days. The landscaping of flowers was beautiful!! No matter which window you looked out was beautiful! We’d love to stay again!
Thank you Bill, for sharing your lovely “home away from home.”

Our family from Pennsylvania spent the week and had a fantastic time. The house is so beautiful we did not want to leave! The house is very well stocked with everything needed to make you feel at home. We grilled, enjoyed the gorgeous view of the bay, watched wildlife, played corn hole in the back yard and had s’mores around the fire pit. We went to Acadia for a day which was an easy 90 minute scenic drive north. Camden and Belfast are close and were fun for shopping and had numerous restaurants. Most of the time was spent at the house which is spacious, clean and so relaxing. Our family included small children, a baby, adults and seniors and everyone loved our stay at this beautiful home!

This home was the perfect place to get three generations together to celebrate my father's birthday. The bay views were outstanding from every room in the house. There is much to do in the area from hiking Camden Hills State Park to sailing on Penobscot Bay. We highly recommend staying here!

This is our family’s third visit and we still found new places and things to do. Plus, the comfort, beauty and conveniences of this location and lovely home all add to our family time together. We made memories for a lifetime. We all took a long look at the Penobscot Bay before we left this morning. So long, until the next time.

We had one of the best vacations of our lives! The home and views are gorgeous. The owner was friendly and responsive. Lincolnville is just south of the property and is wonderful. There is a gas station and market just north of the property that has everything you need. You are a short drive from activities in Belfast and Camden. Loved our stay!

From the second you stepped your foot on the property the house cleanliness is spectacular and the views over the bay are amazing. Every everything is high-quality finishes and all the kitchen/dish you would need to cook all your meals. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody that wants to have a great place to hang out in Maine.

Wow and Amazing
This is truly an amazing property; our family (3 gens) of 10 are all impressed and enjoyed the stay (wish to have more time). We rated 10 out of 10 for the oceanfront view and the design/spacious of the property. The amenities are plentiful; to the point there are much more than we expected or have experienced in our previous rentals. This location is perfectly center for those who want to visit the Acadia National Park and surrounding Maine coastal towns (all within 2 hours). We really appreciate the opportunity to have a memorable time in this wonderful and well designed property.

Week in Paradise
The house and property are even nicer than listed. The design of the house made family gathering time fantastic because the bedroom wings are off of the main kitchen - dining - living room areas. EVERY bedroom had a fantastic view! It was peaceful and quite, yet we had shopping, and a variety of adventurous excursions readily available to us!

Perfect!
What an amazing vacation! Bill’s lovely home was more than we could possibly have asked for. The entire home was equipped with anything you might need and Bill was always just a phone call away to offer his assistance.
My husband and I spent our first week alone simply enjoying the wonderful deck and sunshine and exploring the area. So much to do and see! Our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren (2 toddlers and a 4 year old) joined us the second week. Perfect set-up with the two wings of the house AND the newly finished lower level. Wonderful extra space!
Would we return? In a heartbeat!
Best Lobster Rolls? We choose Margaret’s in Northport!
Thank you, Bill!

What a treat to be staying in this beautiful home! Supremely well equipped. We didn't need to buy any of the usual basics, they were all here. A stunning panoramic view from the living room & bedroom windows. Absolutely spotless. The owner was incredibly helpful & responsive. I can't tell you how wonderful this home was.

Beautiful and Relaxing Family Vacation
Our family had a wonderful time at this house. It was beautiful and well maintained. The check-in and out processes were clear and easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cookware. The bedrooms, living room, and dining rooms had amazing views of the bay. One of the master bedrooms accommodated our handicapped parents nicely. We enjoyed staying at this house.

An amazing week!
Our family enjoyed this home for the second time in two years! We love the comfort, the views, the space and the location in Mid Coast Maine. There is so much to do here. The kitchen is so fun to make meals that we dined (for dinner) out only once the entire week.
The owner is great to work with and has lots of good suggestions for things to do in the area.
We are becoming attached to this part of the country. The beauty, the sky, the flowers, the Bay, the lobstah and the people will bring us back again.

Fantastic views!
This home was well equipped and ready to host our group. Every bedroom has its own bath and all have a view of the ocean. Owners recommendations for things to do and where to eat were very helpful. We enjoyed the home as well as the Maine mid coast area. Would love to come back.

We were a group of high school friends from the class of '74 from a small town in Illinois near St. Louis. Most of the group is still in the area with one couple from Chicagoland. It took careful planning to make this happen during the Covid 19 pandemic. We had to jump through hoops to get our tests done within 72 hours of arrival. With perseverance and a few white lies on symptoms we got the tests, which were negative, and we were on our way. The house was spectacular. It had everything we needed. Fabulous views from each bedroom, room for a large group to sit around and talk, a well-appointed kitchen that could hold most of us as we prepared communal meals and a deck with amazing vistas to watch the water, ships, loons and eagles. It couldn’t have been better. After each day trip, we felt so lucky to return to a comfortable relaxing retreat. This is the house for you if you are traveling with a large group. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom which is such a wonderful benefit. All the beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The downstairs also has wonderful views of the water with a bar, comfy seating, another bathroom and laundry room. Maine is taking the health and safety of its citizens seriously and we felt very safe during this time of Covid. All establishments were firm on wearing masks and they also asked you to sanitize your hands upon entering. It’s no wonder Maine’s Covid numbers are so low. Bill, the owner, was always quick to respond to any questions we had. He sets the bar very high for VRBO rentals. We hope to return to Maine someday and hope we’ll be able to stay at Bill’s incredible home. Thanks!!!

Our multigenerational family ranging from age 3 to 75 stayed for one precious week of relaxation at Bill's house. Plenty of space for our 6 adults and 4 kids to play, eat, sleep, and relax both indoors and out. Inside, your jaw will drop the moment you enter from the view of Penobscot Bay through the huge windows - you'll feel like you are on a ship. Large kitchen well-stocked with everything you'll need - just bring the food. Literally 2 wings for the 5 bedrooms, all on the water-side of the house and each with its own full bath. Beautifully finished lower level with more space to play and relax as well as do laundry. Outdoors includes a huge deck, also with 2 large areas for seating - one with comfortable seating perfect for watching the birds (incl bald eagle and osprey), seals (amazing to watch them leap and feed), and boats; the other side for lounging and napping while shaded from the afternoon sun and for enjoying dinner at sunset. The house inside and out (including a beautiful garden in the front yard) is tastefully decorated and incredibly well appointed. There is a large well-manicured lawn (would be great to be able to run around and play ball after the geese have finished migrating through) between the house and water. The rocky beach is a fantastic place to watch the sunrise and the rhythm of the tide. We brought our kayak and paddleboards - paddling is limited by the tide (we did not attempt to put in when the tide was out past the line of seaweed to avoid slipping) and the wind and current given the relatively unprotected access, but the adults did manage to have a few excellent paddles when the conditions aligned. Given the pandemic, we did not venture out, but would love to stroll around nearby Camden and other sites on future visits. We did get delicious takeout from The Hoot for one meal, and lobsters and clams from the local lobsterman whom Bill recommended - felt indulgent to have the lobsterman's wife steam the lobsters for us too, but was so nice to be able to dig in as soon as we got them home. Thanks for that recommendation, Bill! And thank you for sharing this beautiful home.

Beautiful Home in a Lovely Location
We just returned from a two week stay at Bill's house.
First off, the house is amazing. The layout is good for multiple families and ages. Allowing for ample space for everyone.
The house is so well appointed that next time I will not bring nearly as much, especially for the kitchen. We are a group of cooks and we literally made a meal every night and everything we needed was provided.
The house is located close enough to Bar Harbor that you could do a day trip. We ventured out to Acadia, Deer Isle (Nervous Nellies is so fun) and Booth Bay to name a few places. Camden is wonderful and we had an amazing evening on the Olad Schnooner.
If I needed anything or had a question Bill was quick to respond and help out when we needed.
We loved this place and really had such an amazing stay.
We will definitely be return guests.
Make sure you keep an eye out for the bald eagle that flys by a few times in the late afternoon.

5 Star, Super Clean, Gorgeous Home
This home is spectacular! The pictures truly do not do it justice. Amazing natural light. Beautiful appointments. I'm incredibly clean and I have to say, not one thing was untidy or out of place. The deck and backyard were such a delight and where we spent a lot of time after being cooped up indoors because of these social isolation days. Location-wise, it's situated in this cute town close to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants--everything you need. OH! And Bill was super helpful, always available at a moments notice when we had questions. Thank you so much Bill! The bar has been raised...hope to be back again soon!

1st trip to Maine
This was our first trip to Maine and booked rather last minute due to the current health concerns. Mr. Connell answered all of our questions thoroughly, prior to booking. The Connell's home was immaculate and beautifully maintained upon arrival. All of the bedrooms had water views and were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and very up-to-date. The deck was so relaxing to sit out early morning and in the evening, listening to the waves. The basement has been newly finished, and provided an easy exit to the large yard and access to the bay. Our tween/teens enjoyed playing kickball in the yard, beach combing on the rocky shore and floating out on their boogie boards. Mr. Connell was quick to respond to any questions we had, including a kind caretaker who lives nearby. They provided information on several nearby restaurants, stores and activities. We did use their recommendation for the lobsterman. Anything we needed, we could find in the house...extra blankets, games, movies, fans, etc.
Camden was a wonderful little harbor town. We felt very comfortable with their policies on wearing masks, indoor/outdoor dining and social distancing while shopping, etc. Maine seems to be doing a great job at keeping their state safe and healthy! We kayaked on a harbor tour through MaineSports and also felt very comfortable.
We hiked around Camden Hills State Park and took a day trip to Acadia/Bar Harbor, which was lovely. We did have a day of rain and there isn't much to do "inside" at this time. Luckily, we were able to watch movies and play games at the house, provided by our hosts.
2 things to note:
The first is that we went to the Hannafords on Elm Street, several times and the staff was very pleasant/food selection was good. However, they did not have any paper towels and the toilet paper was pretty basic. We didn't even think to bring these things, as they were in the home, but we needed to replenish throughout the week with 9 people!
The second is the neighbor's rooster...it wakes up early. Shutting the windows and running the fan, really helped to block him out!
Thank you to the Connell's for having our families...we made so many great memories!

Scenic location, tastefully decorated, super comfortable and fully equipped with many extra touches! This house is a lovely getaway where you could vacation right there or go out and explore. The view is spectacular and the sound of the ocean so peaceful. Communication was great - Bill is quick to respond to any questions and concerns. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back.

Peaceful Retreat!
Beautiful getaway! Beautiful views! Beautiful home! The owners provided everything you would need for all your comforts of being at home. Lots of windows to view the ocean. We watched the ferry cross Penobscot Bay and finally used it to go to Islesboro Island. We didn’t listen to much music or watch cable tv. We listened to the ocean and the birds. We loved this property and it’s setting so much we didn’t make a big effort to travel to see too many other sites. There’s easy access to grocery stores, and restaurants with a fill of sea food.
While staying indoors, there’s a closet full of games, a bbq grill and a lobster pot.
Although my husband and I found this gem for ourselves, the home provides for large groups. We found peace and tranquillity which will forever be embedded in our memories. Would we come back? No question! YES! Our needs were met and exceeded.
The owner Bill, checked in to make sure we were accommodated for. He’s a text or a call away for any reason. We had the pleasure of meeting him and his adult daughter. Thank you Bill and family for sharing your coastal home with us.

Fabulous family reunion
This wonderful vacation home could not have been more perfect for our family. It was more than expected...so spacious and comfortable, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The sprawling backyard and rock beach entertained us many times. Rock hunting was so much fun. The view from the picture windows was so relaxing, watching the ferry go back and forth and the fishing boats as well as the ducks and geese. We enjoyed the fire table out back as well as the deck chairs. We took many pictures in the rock garden out front. We had great weather and just the most perfect week. We highly recommend this home on every level. The owner is great to work with. We hope to return to the beautiful Northport/Camden area someday. Thank you, Bill, for sharing the very special home.
