We celebrated Thanksgiving with our adult children and two young grandchildren. The house and property are amazing! The house is well thought out, beautifully decorated, clean and views are gorgeous. The beds and pillows in every room beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook and eat thanksgiving dinner.
Sara the host is so welcoming! The refrigerator was stocked with juices for the kids, water, sparkling water, beer and wine. The pantry was well stocked. She provided family games, toys and children’s books for our stay. Every room was adorned with fresh or silk flowers. She ensured the beds were set up to accommodate our group. Ample firewood was provided for both indoor and outdoor fire places. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we had questions.
Our family enjoyed the outdoor spaces including the playground and trampoline. There was enough room for everyone to have there own space and common spaces were large enough and comfortable enough for us all to be together. I really feel my words are not doing justice to this truly magical property and amazing host. The whole family wants to spend time here again. We are beginning to plan our next trip to visit in the spring or early summer.

We loved staying here! We felt like we were at a resort with the amazing home, views of the lake, swimming pool and outdoor spaces. Our host was very helpful getting everything ready for us before and during our stay. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were impressive and we enjoyed using them. The refrigerators were stocked with sodas, water, wine and beer. Every detail was perfect and thoughtfully done to make our trip fun and easy, relaxing and top quality. We would definitely stay here again!

The weekend our friends spent at this house was truly unmatched! Sarah and Jeff went above and beyond readying the house for our stay and we had the absolute best time. We can’t wait to return to this property for future trips!

The home was better than expected. Great living spaces and super clean and organized. My family was so comfortable and happy. Amazing kitchen and large comfortable living room. Fantastic pool area including a covered bar/meeting area with a toilet and pool shower.
A real difference maker was the attention to detail of the host. Too many details to mention but a few examples are restaurant recommendations, Roku instructions, snacks, drinks, condiments, pool floats, kid pool toys, games, toys, carts, etc. The host was also super responsive to any questions or help we might need.
I would definitely book this property again.

We spent an amazing full week here for our family’s summer vacation. Sara was a spectacular host. If we needed anything, had questions, etc., she was immediately responsive and went above and beyond in every way. Thank you, Jeff & Sara for an incredible stay!

Stay was 10/10, the space was perfect and had everything + more needed for a comfortable visit. Sara and Jeff were highly responsive and communicative from the time of booking through our stay, as well as accommodating to the needs of our party and sharing their chickens' eggs from the coop (yum!). The House has such a cozy/resort feel and is only 30 minutes from Downtown.

This property deserves a six star rating, not just for how beautiful it is but because of the attention to the small things. Starting with the owner giving us a walk through. Sara showed us how the stoves and outdoor grills worked, that anything in the fridge, pantry or drink fridges (inside and out) were available to us, the bottled water for making coffee, how to turn on pool/patio lights, the provided swim towels and pool toys for our use. This in edition to personalized instructions for our stay and a welcome basket for all ages.
We live in the area but our trip to La Hacienda Estates felt like a vacation aboard. A wonderful time. Thank you.

I have been very fortunate to do quite a bit of traveling and this house ranks near the top of my favorite places to stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, setting the resort like atmosphere of the place. Not to mention the beautiful views of the lake. The house is unique, eclectic, well appointed and comfortable. It has all the things to make your stay easy and stress free such as coffee makers, cooking utensils, spices, garbage bags, towels, extra blankets, pool toys, etc. The snack basket was icing on the cake. Sara is the best host you could ask for- caring, accommodating, informative but you never feel like she's imposing. We had young kids with us who thoroughly enjoyed the playground, the pool and the chickens on the property. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fabulous getaway. We will definitely be returning to La Hacienda Estates!

The best experience ever ! The house, guest house, and grounds are immaculate. The pictures DO NOT do it justice. So close to grocery stores and restaurants, but our adult children wanted to cook in every day so they could enjoy the pool longer !! We will definitely return. We’re already making our plans !!

This was an incredible stay for my family and I. There is not a detail left undone. The property in its entirety holds not only convenience, but character. It felt as if the house carries a lot of love and good memories. The shower with the plants and the claw foot tub was my favorite part, best vacation in years.

There are 4 full beds and Sara (owner) provided air mattresses for the rest. There is also a large daybed by the pool that was used given the nice weather. There are lots of steps, so not likely the best for someone with issues walking, but our group was fine with that. Sara is very sweet and was there for us as needed. We loved it.

Could not have more pleased with every aspect of the booking process, checkin, communication from the owners, having all needs met prior to checkin in regards to additional beds setup, cleanliness, abundance of stocked items from the bathrooms to kitchen to outside amenities. During our stay a friend started feeling unwell, a text message amd 3 minute wait we had a thermometer and offering of a rapid test kit just to make sure it wasnt a Rona thing. Which it wasnt. Having the kids pick eggs out of the hen house was nice. We really felt we had privacy tur whole time. The one issue we had was never wanting to leave to see more of Austin. It's a paradise there. You will not want to checkout either. Enjoy this gem!

Stunning property and exceptional owners/property managers!
We can't say enough nice things about this incredible property and the amazing hospitality of the management. We definitely felt like we were at a resort! The view is gorgeous and the house is very spacious and well designed for entertaining. It is also fenced in, so our dog was able to run around worry free!
The property managers couldn't be nicer and are excellent with communications. They pay a lot of attention to detail and provide a very helpful welcome letter (and snacks!) to ensure a wonderful stay.
We highly recommend this property and hope to have another opportunity to visit again soon! Thank you so much for a fantastic vacation!

We simply loved staying at Sara & Jeff's home and casitas. No detail was overlooked. Within minutes of settling in we were completely relaxed and felt such a calm, peace for our entire stay. We are planning our return trip!

The House is outstanding, grounds are exceptional and the view is amazing....Beautiful furnishings and very comfortable bedrooms. I spent quite a bit of time just touring the house and grounds to take everything in. Best property by far that I have ever stayed out. Property manager is ready to meet any of your needs but unlikely you will need anything.

The is a convenient store and liquor store two minutes any and full size grocery 10 minutes out so things are easy in Texas Hill Country. Yea haw.

Amazing property and host!
We stayed here for a long weekend - two families with 3 kids total and this was absolutely perfect for us. The property is gorgeous. We cooked, we grilled, we swam. Everything you need is right there and easily accessible. Sara is an incredible host - we were so appreciative of all the special touches - the snacks and drinks and pool floats! She even came to the rescue when my daughter lost a balloon to the beautiful high ceilings! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!

Probably the best property I’ve ever stayed at. Amazing communication prior to our arrival, which was a little complicated due to folks arriving at different times. Super thoughtful preparation. Incredible house (houses, really) that was perfect for entertaining. We swam every day, had extended family over at their leisure, we were always finding new things on the property. My 5yr olds loved the playground - it’s not even in the pictures! We can’t wait to return. Truly a gem.

But I think it’s because the experience feels so much less like a house and so much more like a property- a villa or resort not typically found in Texas. This is due to everything from the seemingly small choices- like the light fixtures, the Westin’s signature Heavenly shower head in the master, the candle and soap scents- to the larger ones like the choice of building materials and custom appliances. This house is so well thought out that it feels more akin to a resort property.
We came with the whole gang as a multi-generational group. We did a lot of cooking, and honestly it felt like all of our food simply tasted better when cooked with the chef-level appliances and tools!
The kids loved running around the on-site playground every morning. We spent our afternoons in the pool surrounded by the beautiful foliage and lake views. We enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. And we all got such wonderful sleep!
We also really appreciated the fully stocked snacks and drinks that Sara provided- this is not typical of a host and was so kind!
We have traveled extensively in the country and abroad and have struggled to find safe and comprehensive options during this pandemic. We would highly recommend staying here for a beautiful and safe getaway that feels like a true vacation!
