Awesome Lake House On Glass Lake In Averill Park, NY
Notre maison du lac est sur le lac Glass à Averill Park, NY. Au cas où vous voudriez vous aventurer, il est proche de Saratoga (parfait pour la saison de course!), le Berkshires MA, Albany NY et le Vermont. Vous allez adorer notre endroit en raison de son emplacement juste sur Glass Lake. Incroyablement privé avec une propriété spacieuse. Notre maison au bord du lac est idéale pour les familles avec enfants et les couples, et est entièrement adaptée aux chiens et aux personnes handicapées. Il est idéal pour toute saison (feuilles, ski, pêche, natation). Kayaks, canoë, chaloupe ... et le lac !!
Notre maison est fabuleuse. Un super endroit pour des vacances en famille. Les enfants l'adorent ici. Tant à faire et à explorer. Notre maison a été construite en 1965 et était un peu en avance sur son temps dans la conception. C'est définitivement une maison toute l'année. Vous pouvez l'utiliser comme plaque tournante pour l'observation des feuilles à l'automne, le ski en hiver et bien sûr le «laking» au printemps et en été. Un petit coin de paradis. La maison est également en très bon état! Profitez du foyer à l'étage, mais assurez-vous que le conduit de cheminée est OUVERT.
Notre maison est à 10 minutes du ski de fond local, à seulement 25 minutes de Jiminy Peak dans le MA et à moins d'une heure de Bennington, VT. Excellent emplacement pour accéder à d'autres points d'intérêt.
Vous aurez toute la maison pour votre visite. Nous accordons également à nos voisins l'accès au lac, mais vous ne les verrez pas beaucoup. Ils pourraient descendre de leurs propres maisons pour sauter dans leurs bateaux et se diriger vers le lac.

This was the perfect spot for our family Father's Day weekend. The kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals and the lake activities kept everyone happy. The location is not too far from shopping.

We stayed at this property to attend graduation. It was a 30 minute drive to campus. The location allowed us to have extended family and friends join us to celebrate after the ceremonies.
The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The yard is large and beautiful. And the lake view is spectacular!
The owners were easy to work with and extremely responsive.

The owner was quick to communicate and easy to work with. The house was quirky, but met our needs well. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Only downside to the house was that the only bathroom on the main level is in the master, so if that person is sleeping, everyone has to use the downstairs bathroom. Obviously not something that can be fixed, but could be difficult for those with issues with stairs.

The view is gorgeous and the house is comfortable for hanging out in all day in cold weather. The kitchen was huge and it occommodated our thanksgiving dinner cooking.

My daughters wedding was an out of town Albany wedding for all of us. I booked this location for the number of people we could accommodate as I had the bride and bridesmaid for the night before the wedding! It was fantastic plenty of room beautiful location for photos I couldn’t ask for a better location! Zach was very accommodating! I highly recommend this location for a quiet get away for a group or family gathering! Lake views are incredible!

Our group consisted of grandchildren, children, and grandparents. Everyone had a blast! Our youngest was excited to catch sunnies off the dock, all the kids toured along the lake in the kayaks provided, grandparents toured the lake in the canoe. The yard was flat and spacious for the traditional wiffle ball game. The home kitchen area had everything we could need for our stay. The interior was spacious enough for all ages to enjoy their “own space” given our different in age groups, yet all be together as a family. Our host was really great to deal with in every way and we will be returning to this property again creating fond family memories.

We had a wonderful stay at Zach's place on Glass Lake! We were looking for a peaceful lakefront location with lake views, good water access, and comfortable accommodations, where we could gather with our adult children and their spouses for our annual family getaway. Zach's place provided all of these features and so much more. It is such a warm and peaceful setting, with comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces to gather as a family. The kitchen was incredible. So spacious and fun to cook in. The house was well stocked with everything that you need for your vacation, including many thoughtful extras such as books, board games, boats and life jackets, firewood for the wood burning fireplace, and so much more. Communication with Zach was great and he was pleasure to work with. This home far exceeded our expectations and we hope to return next year!

Perfect place for family to be together and separate! Gorgeous views of the lake, great lawn, fun toys, lots of boats.
Even with the wild fires keeping us inside for half of our stay, the space and the view kept us happy. Everything in the kitchen a CIA trained chef could desire.

My husband and I choose this rental because it was centrally located in between our children and provided enough beds and a private lake in the backyard!! The house was very well stocked and clean! The lake offered boating, fishing, birding and relaxing!! Thank you so much!!

Great house in a beautiful spot!
Such a tranquil spot on Glass lake. The constant reflection of the sky and surrounding hills in the water is magnificent. While we only had 5 people sleeping there over Thanksgiving, the house has 5 bedrooms. There is plenty of space to spread out, and there is extensive decking overlooking the lake for use in warm weather. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The upstairs great room and kitchen are beautiful with a wall of sliders overlooking the lake. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. This is clearly a family home, lived in, not just a rental, which makes a huge difference in the comfort level. Zach was awesome to work with and got back to us with our questions right away. We have a family member in a wheelchair and there is a ramp to get a wheelchair in the house and all around the first floor but not into the bathroom (though we expected that). We look forward to returning sometime in the nice weather and probably will spend Thanksgiving there next year.

We had at a work retreat at this house and had an amazing time! The house and lakeviews are even better than in the pictures, with a big lawn and porch for hanging out together! The manager of the property was great to work with and very responsive and accommodating.

Memorable Family Vacation
Our family of 8 from Virginia enjoyed each minute of our time at Glass Lake. We were able to visit with our local Troy family enjoying this beautiful property. Cousins were swimming, fishing and paddling together building memories for a life time.

Amazing location for family gathering
Stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my son's graduation from RPI which is only 10 miles away- I wish I found this sooner during his time at RPI- Very clean , beautiful kitchen, amazing views - nice size bedrooms, the lake is quiet and water was warm- we saw a bald eagle fly by a few times-only regret was not staying longer- Loved the house and would love to come back.

Great House and Great Value
The property was clean and as advertised. Communication with the property owner was excellent. The lake views throughout the house are actually BETTER than the listed photographs suggest. We would stay here again during any season of the year.

Great stay for our ski weekend at Jiminy
This beautiful house had everything we needed for two families with 5 children between us. Coming back from a long day of skiing and being able to cook a nice meal and finish the evening by the fireplace was perfect. We all discussed how we would like to come back in the summer or the fall to make the most of the lake! Thanks Zach!

Exquisite Glass Lake
Beautiful, artistically designed house. Magnificent views, tranquil setting! Sitting on the deck watching the patterns change on the lake and taking in the fall foliage kept us happy for many hours. We look forward to a return visit.

Had some initial issues with heating that caused a very uncomfortable first night. Zach & Julie however were quick to respond. Overall a beautiful home. Plenty big enough to accommodate our traveling group and not too far out in the country so as to be inconvenient. View of lake is beautiful.

Wonderful setting for our family holiday gathering.
We loved the beautiful views of the lake and the comfortable living area. Plenty of space for our extended family and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Our hosts made sure we had a long table and linens so that it felt like home. A bonus was the ramp entryway for our parents. Excellent communication and clear instructions from Zach and Julie. Very quiet location for a good nights sleep. We’d love to come back in summer.

Beautiful Lake House-- Home and Surroundings are Wonderful!
Thank you for the wonderful stay in your beautifully appointed lake house. Our extended family visited for a week in conjunction with our daughter's RPI Family Weekend. The lake house is conveniently located near Troy, Albany, and the surrounding trails. It is directly on a lake, which offered fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Outstanding! We hope to stay again next time we're in the area!

Loving 51 Rebecca Way
This is our third year staying at this property, and it just gets better and better. Our kids and grandkids never want to leave because there is so much to do...fishing, paddle board, kyack, regular fishing boat. You supply it all and they love it. I love every room in the house, spacious, open, non cluttered and beautifully clean.

Fantastic place!
The house was perfect for our family and other out of town guests as our daughter was married just down the road at Old Daly on Crooked Lake. We couldn’t have asked for a better home with all the amenities included. Zach was fantastic to communicate with and all our needs were met. The lake is beautiful even when it rains. If we were to go back to this area I would definitely look to stay here again.

Everything about this house was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable, clean, relaxing. Kayaks/paddleboards made it a lot of fun for the crew. 5 minutes to a mini-mart, 10 minutes to major grocery store, yet a beautiful lakefront setting.
