This is a very nice quaint beautiful farmhouse with lots of personal touches. If you're a animal lover, this place is for you! Beautiful little ponies and a horse and cute chickens. Wendy is an excellent host! Highly recommend it!!

The hostess, Wendy, was extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, and she was easy to communicate with. A blizzard and extreme cold came during our stay for Christmas, and she made sure the walks and driveway were plowed each morning so we could get out to be with our family.
She even had a whole house generator installed right before our arrival in case there was a power outage! Wendy went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and happy. Even our two little poodles loved it there. We would not hesitate to book her property again and that’s because she is a great hostess! Thank you for making sure we had one of the best family Christmas vacations ever Wendy! Happy New Year!

We loved this property. The owner had added fall decorations that were just the right touch. Everything was comfortable and saying good morning to the horse and ponies each day was perfect!

A step back in time.
We loved it. Quiet, relaxing and a lot of memories of our childhoods at Grandma’s farmhouse. Very convenient to Jr Irish Fields for lacrosse or soccer!

Lovely Farmhouse Atmosphere
We took a step back in time when we walked into The Farmhouse. Our dogs loved being part of a little farm with the miniature horses and cats. We told our family in Michigan and Indiana that they need to stay at the Farmhouse. It's relaxing and the deck is amazing. It's secluded, yet close enough to South Bend to enjoy the town.

Relaxing accomplished
The property was very relaxing. Lots of reading under the huge trees and the green grass.And, the horses were great companions. Wendy Was a great host! We would definitely return.

I love antiques and old fashioned stuff and I have always dreamed of living in a farmhouse. I absolutely love the house and the decor is Great! Our stay there was absolutely awesome!! It was truly a get away to remember!

Peaceful escape from the city
Wendy's Farmhouse was the perfect place for me and my husband to escape the city for a week. After a challenging year, it was wonderful to completely unplug, enjoy the trees and green grass with our dogs, and meet some very sweet ponies and horses. It was exactly as advertised and felt like a warm hug from family members I did not know I had. We look forward to visiting again.

Very pleasant farm just as advertised
This was a neat and tidy farmhouse just as advertised. Everything worked well and the house was neat and clean. The horses and ponies were present as were three cats. It is very convenient to South Bend as well as southern Michigan. In our opinion, it is best for small groups (4 or less) because there is one bathroom. We would definitely stay again.

We were visiting our relatives on Eagle lake so spent much time with them but Wendy was great about
Everything was great! The heat outside was uncomfortable but the air conditioning in the house was a wonderful rest after the lake time. We cooked for the lake crew Friday night and found everything we needed. The Farmhouses is well supplied; our biggest problem was keeping our stuff separate from the decorations and stuff of the house!! Just kidding; we loved the farm details and the horses were a hit! Hope to return!

Relaxing
My girlfriend and I loved staying at the farmhouse. It was quiet, cute and and in a lovely location. All the animals were nice. The Carriage House restaurant next door was beautiful and delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

It was great! Quiet, restful, and beautiful.The home was an old farm house, full of charm and memories.The small horses, cats wondering around, barns and pastures all added to the beauty of the stay. Flowers bloomed, fresh mowed grass and giant old trees graced the yard.We will return!

We called it our museum farmhouse. So many conversational items. We appreciated the air conditioner as summer was kicking in. My daughters loved the cats and horses.

Peaceful getaway
We stayed during our son’s graduation weekend, and it was perfect for our needs. We loved retreating to the peacefulness of The Farmhouse at the end of our busy days on campus. Wendy was a perfect hostess, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay.

Great weekend getaway!
The farmhouse was an excellent last minute booking decision for me and a couple of my friends. It was absolutely gorgeous in the snow. Wendy was very communicative and even stopped by (socially distanced) to make sure everything was going alright. I'd highly recommend this listing!

Our home away from home .
We have loved our stay here . We were in between homes . Closed on our house and couldn't move into new one for ten days , hense our home away from home . Our two dogs loved the stay also . The owner Wendy is very nice . We hope to come back again!

Wonderful stay!
Had a very wonderful restful stay at the farm. The home is well kept My daughter loved playing with all the toys and cats. It was a great experience. The horses are beautiful. Great location. Home has everything you need. Thank you. Can’t wait to go back.

even better than expected
My family visited for a weekend and Wendy could not have been better or more accommodating. The Farmhouse is even better than advertsied! We loved the animals, especially the horses, and interacting with them was so much fun. Notre Dame's campus is very close if that is part of your plans. Cannot say enough about Wendy and how great she was before, during and after our stay. Cannot wait to go back again!

Clean and charming
Had a lovely stay. Very charming old farm house. Had everything that we needed for a great vacation. While we didn’t use them, I can certainly see how convenient it was to have the “extras” like the outdoor grill, a cooler, children’s toys and games, books for reading, a few seasonings on hand, and plenty of kitchen utensils to make a full meal.

So good to get away!
The farmhouse setting is on the edge of suburban South Bend but is right by cornfields and has plenty of outdoor space. The farm house is really nice. There's a great deck, huge yard and some really friendly barn cats as well as horses, both regular and adorable miniatures. Wendy was very pleasant and helpful. It was a real plus to have a crib and high chair on site.

We had a nice stay at the farmhouse, quite time to get away from the city and relax. The home was clean, and not to far from other activities, such as visiting Notre Dame or headed to the beach for the day.

So Beautiful and Relaxing
Such a beautiful place. The property and house was very relaxing and well maintained. Great communication with Wendy. We enjoyed being close to Weko park and walking our dog on the beach. We visited a couple wineries. And on our 35th wedding anniversary, we just enjoyed the deck and home. I loved the barn cats and the horses were pretty neat too.
We hope to visit again.

A Nice Escape
We spent a couple of days away from our city isolation and had a great time hanging with the cats and ponies and swinging on the front porch. Wendy was easy to work with.
