Description du condo
Notre copropriété en bord de mer joliment décorée avec une chambre / une salle de bain se trouve à Maalaea Kai dans la magnifique ville de Maalaea Maui. Nous travaillons toujours à garder notre condo à jour et aussi agréable que possible. En 2017, nous avons installé de magnifiques planchers de bambou dans le salon, la cuisine et le couloir.
Le condo ensemble est climatisé! Notre unité diffère de la plupart des condominiums à Maui dans que le bâtiment est dans un cul-de-sac il ya donc peu la circulation des véhicules. Aussi, contrairement à la plupart des condos, vous pouvez entendre l'océan de la chambre ainsi que la salle de séjour. Parce que nous sommes une unité de coin, notre chambre a des fenêtres sur deux murs et un d'entre eux fait face à l'océan! Nous sommes également unique en peluche que notre lit et la literie sont de la plus haute qualité, nous pourrions acheter. Vous pensez que vous êtes en séjour dans un hôtel 5 étoiles!
Le salon
Être une unité de coin, il ya une fenêtre de côté, en plus de la porte coulissante en verre, qui vous donne plus de lumière et d'air. Le salon dispose de nouveaux sols en bambou, d'un canapé-lit pour deux personnes et d'une causeuse. (Sachant que les canapés-lits ne sont pas aussi confortables qu'un lit ordinaire, nous avons un surmatelas en mousse à mémoire de forme pour le recouvrir du matelas afin qu'il soit agréable et confortable.) Il ya une table à manger avec quatre chaises. Notre système de divertissement comprend un 40 "TV à écran plat, un lecteur DVD et un lecteur CD. Vous pouvez également connecter votre iPhone pour jouer votre propre musique. Nous avons une grande sélection de films sur DVD. Nous avons wifi gratuit et longue distance gratuit à la partie continentale des États-Unis et au Canada.
Chambre
Notre chambre dispose de moquette moelleuse, de nouveaux rideaux et d'un lit king-size (deux jumeaux extra-longs réunis dans un cadre king-size, ce qui vous permet moins de sentir votre compagnon bouger au milieu de la nuit). Nous sommes très particulier sur le lit et nous dormons dans notre confort est aussi important pour nous que pour vous. Nos matelas sont Simmons Beautyrest Euro peluche pillowtops. Vous les aimerez! Nous avons également un surmatelas en mousse à mémoire de gel de 4 po et un surmatelas sur le dessus du matelas. Les draps sont doux au beurre et deux des quatre coussins king sont 100% duvet et deux sont en poly-fill très doux pour ceux qui sont allergiques au duvet. Nous avons acheté les meilleurs oreillers que nous pourrions trouver! La couette est magnifiquement fait par Calvin Klein. Vous serez dans un confort total pendant l'endormissement au son bienheureux de l'océan!

Notre cuisine a une nouvelle cuisinière / plaque de cuisson et micro-ondes et est entièrement équipée avec tout ce que vous pourriez vouloir, y compris la belle porcelaine hawaïenne, verres à vin, un mixeur, un grille-pain, un four, un réfrigérateur, un cuiseur à riz, une mijoteuse et tous les pots et casseroles dont vous auriez besoin.
Salle de bain
La salle de bain a une belle baignoire / douche. Nous avons mis dans un nouveau plancher de mosaïque et une belle nouvelle vanité et l'appariement miroir.

This property was fantastic- exactly as pictured, and even better because the host has thought of everything- right down to something as simple as Kleenex in the bathroom. I have stayed at so many VRBO’s where you are barely set up for one day (one roll of TP, one garbage bag, no napkins, etc)- this is not the case here. As a family of two (mom-son trip) we were set up with all that we needed to relax and enjoy! Comfortable beds, extremely clean accommodations and the stunning view made it a perfect choice for our first visit to Maui. We loved being close to the water, without a busy beach. Sitting in the lounge chairs at the coast, watching the surf and the turtles come up was our favorite thing to do. The host gave us all kinds of great suggestions in the area and the communication was top notch. I wish every VRBO stay could be like this one. Thank you so much, Danny!

We had a great time in Maui. This condo had everything we needed and some. The ocean view overlooking the bay was amazing. One of the best things about this condo is it is centrally located in Maui. Everything was within walking distance of our condo. We only needed to get in the car to go to other sides of the island or to the grocery store. We were walking distance away from all the boat tours.

Great proprety that was accurately described & met our needs. Beautiful view of bay from lanai! 15 -20 minutes from restuarant choices on bay and in Kahului plus a few within walking distance. Danny very helpful, including restaurant suggestions!

This was the perfect spot for our island adventures. Everything was exactly as described and there were notable extras like portable chairs, beach umbrellas, Maui guide books, sunscreen, and extra toiletries. The pool was perfect. Not over chlorinated and well maintained. Breakfast on the lanai as i watched the sun come up each morning... amazing. I highly recommend this property.

Originally went for a bucket list excursion to Haleakala for the sunrise. More of a couples thing I suppose but “whos gonna stop me” the couples thats who lol. Tickets sold out since I booked this trip one month before rather than 2 months like they suggest for Haleakala. Despite that disappointment, my stay was amazing. Right on the coast (starbucks) around the corner if you’re into that, beach literally just a stroll down the road. Went for the sunrise on top a mountain and stayed for the sun rise and set just outside my door/window. Will look to book again maybe next year. Thx Danny

We absolutely loved our stay at Maalaea Kai. The condo was even better than the pictures - and we saw turtles in the bay every day ! The check in process could not have been easier- the room was was great. And the view from the lanai- wow, just WOW!

We loved our stay at this condo. The view is stunning and we enjoyed watching the whales from the lanai. The grounds at the condo are kept up very nicely and was a great place to sit outside along the water at the end of the day. The condo was very quiet and peaceful and was a great place for us to stay . We had great communication from Danny and the local onsite property manager. The AC in the bedroom was an added plus. We would definitely stay here again !

Wonderful space for our week in Maui! The condo was well equipped with all the essentials and more. The terrace looked out onto the pool and ocean. The location next to the harbor made for easy access to the west and south of the island. The south beaches were a short drive, as were the towns for eating and shopping. We will stay here again on our next visit!

We'd like to thank Danny for opening up his place to our family. The unit is centrally located with all the amenities and comforts of home. It made for a memorable stay in Maui.

We had a great time! Loved the central location and it is very quiet here. Maalaea Bay Harbor has some restaurants and shopping. Almost all of the water tours leave out of that harbor now. I loved laying out watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. The Maui Ocean Center is within walking distance along with the harbor and also putt-putt golf. Tons of turtles eating by all the rocks in front of our place, can just sit and watch them for hours. Had a great time, got to explore the whole island!

Great location for us as our daughter works out of the harbor so it was convenient for us to use her car while she was working. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The view was beautiful and we loved going down to the water to watch the huge turtles.

Had a great stay, view amazing, sea turtles daily in the water. Condo was very nice and bed was comfortable. One thing, did not know pest control needed to come in to condo. If we weren't there they would have been let in by condo maintenance. Not a big deal really but wanted to mention. Overall amazing place and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We loved that we could sit outside on the balcony and hear the waves crashing in. We watched sea turtles on the banks in front in the condo. It’s a perfect location to get around on the island. And nicely kept condo. The neighbors are very friendly. We will be back!

My partner and I celebrated our honeymoon/anniversary here and it was the perfect spot. Clean and had everything we needed to stay in and cook or just hang out. The view is just a plus! Oh, and Danny isn’t lying about the bedding, we haven’t slept that well in quite a while. The neighbors are also pretty great, so friendly! Pool was great for night swims and I have to mention the sea turtles that are always hanging around by the water line. This will definitely be our repeat spot when we are able to squeeze in another vacation to Maui! ❤️

We had a great time. Normally we stay up near Kaanapali and we have decided Maalaea Harbor is a wonderful place to stay! Very centrally located and I loved watching the boats go in and out of the harbor all day!!
I also loved watching the planes go overhead. They took a little getting used to (somewhat loud) but by the end of our 10 day trip, we hardly noticed them.
We were very comfortable! The bed is VERY comfy!
Oh, and we saw turtles EVERY DAY from the shoreline!

If you love seeing and hearing the ocean you will love this condo. You will be steps from the pool or from the oceanfront chairs. The unit is well equipped for a stay away from home. Would return in the future.

Sitting on the lanai watching the sunrise over Haleakala and the whales in the bay begins each morning. The condo was supplied with pots, pans, mixer, coffee brewer, dishes, glasses, towels etc. The dressers and closet easily provided room for our clothing. A couple more hooks in the bathroom, or lanai wall, would facilitate the drying of towels especially to hang the pool towels. The condo grounds are very welcoming where we would sit on a lawn chaise and look out toward the bay and watch the whales; bring binoculars. The pool was refreshing and a lot of fun for our grandchildren, who were staying in another unit. We would swim and play in the pool everyday.
We walked to Maalaea Harbour Shops & Restaurants where the Maui Ocean Center, Pacific Whale Foundation, Hula Cookies & Ice Cream as well as little shops. We enjoyed Happy Hour and dinner at Tante's Fishmarket. A short walk down Hauoli Street to Haycraft Park, will bring you to Sugar Beach, where you can walk for miles.
You can choose to drive to either Kihei or Lahaina being that this condo is located between the two. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Maalaea Kai 204. Mahalo Danny

We had a lovely time in Maui at the Ma'alaea Kai, unit 204. It was a comfortable oceanfront condo, steps away from from both the harbour & its amenities, and very close to a wonderful sandy beach, that was perfect for walking & swimming. We really enjoyed viewing the sea turtles that came in close to shore at the condo, & watching the whale activity out in the bay. It was a very memorable vacation!

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights before heading to the West Coast of the Island. We loved cycling the Road to Hana and the climb up to Haleakala from this central location. The room was clean with an awesome view. Bed was super comfortable and dark. There was a little plane noise but we travel with ear plugs so no problem. It is a very quiet property otherwise with lovely long chairs on the grass out front and a beach just down the road.
Kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could need - lots of dishes, glasses and cookware. We didn't use the bbq outside but it was in a lovely location overlooking the water.
Will definitely stay again next time we're in Maui!

We enjoyed the location. Nicely decorated and furnished unit. We liked that the lanai was shaded most of the day. We saw whales from the lanai, bring binoculars to see well if here in Jan - March. Convenient to get to Kahalui, Haleakala, Road to Hana etc. A few places to eat in immediate area. Fridays are a good day to be out as those noisy leaf blowers are everywhere. Easy walk to 2.5 mile long beach with no developments behind it.

What a fabulous ocean view! Saw humpback whales spouting and crabs jumping on the rocks. Near the aquarium and restaurants are nearby. Restful and secluded.
