Lake Front Home with Stunning Views
Cette maison est située directement sur l'eau, sur la rive est du lac Dunmore, niché dans une baie en demi-lune à l'abri. Il est un, économe en énergie, maison de quatre saison moderne, décoré et meublé par un artiste. Situé au cœur de la vallée Champlain de Vermont, nous sommes près de deux Middlebury et Brandon. Le lac Champlain est à 30 minutes, et les montagnes verdoyantes derrière nous vanter le ski de classe mondiale à Mad River Glen, Pico Peak, et Sugarbush Ski Resorts. Excellent parcours, antiquités, galerie de saut et à manger sont à quelques minutes de l'endroit serein.
À l'avant, une grande pelouse plane rare, pour les loisirs et ensoleillement répond à une plage de sable fin idéale pour les petits enfants. Nous sommes loin de la route pavée, au bout d'un chemin de terre, de sorte que les seuls sons que vous entendrez sont les huards. Tout ce qu'il faut pour se détendre est fourni.
Il y a une chambre avec un lit queen, et une deuxième chambre avec deux couchettes doubles.
Dehors, il y a un grand patio en pierre avec table et parasol, une table de pique-nique, des chaises de jardin, un hamac de corde, une fosse de feu de camp, et un gril à charbon Weber.
Il y a beaucoup de livres, des puzzles et des jeux, internet wifi, une grande télévision avec Netflix et Hulu abonnements, un dock iPod, et un CD compact / lecteur de cassette / radio.
Il est un kayak, un bateau de pack VT, une barque métallique et un canot, ainsi que des gilets de sauvetage pour tous les adultes et les enfants. Il y a des flotteurs et des jouets de l'eau. We had a fabulous week at Ashley’s house. It is a beautiful home, full of art, color and light. It’s very well appointed. Everything you need is there, Really! We had a week of paddling, walking the nearby trails and just relaxing. Our Golden Retriever and our granddaughter loved it! A truly wonderful week on lake Dunmore in a stunning setting. Situated right on the lake which provided stunning views once the fog lifted. The house is warm, cozy and fully equipped. Due to the weather the streaming TV was appreciated and put to good use. The beds were oh so comfy and made for a good nights sleep. Our host, Ashley, was very attentive and we needed for nothing. Rufus has a forever friend in Daisy who loved visiting him, saying hi, then coming home and curling by the very warm fire. Our hike to Silver Lake was impressive, especially being so close, the water falls were spectacular and the climb was gentle. Overall a lovely get away for us all. Thank you.

Excellent property in a great location with beautful view of lake. Very comfortable with every amenity. Greatly enjoyed the art displayed. Convenient to both Brandon and Middlebury with endless nearby hiking opportunities. Lovely owner who is very responsive.

We had a lovely 2 week stay at the lake! This was our first trip to Vermont, and Lake Dunmore was a great home base for relaxation and some day trips to other parts of Vermont.
The house was quiet and homey - not one of those rentals where clearly no one has ever lived. It had everything we needed. There’s a deli and small grocery 8 minutes away, and 12-20 minutes away are Brandon and Middlebury with restaurants, breweries and stores.
We enjoyed making s’mores, the row boat, the sandy beach entry to the lake, and yard games with our three year old. Bring some bug spray as the mosquitos were extra fierce due to the recent rains!

Had a wonderful stay at Lake Dunmore in this beautiful property in spite of the rainy weather. Easy access into water for swimming and kayaking/canoeing. Very nice furnishing and everything you need to make your stay nice. It's a perfect size for a couple, but the other bedrooms are a little small for other adults to stay - children would be fine. Lovely view out all the windows facing the lake. Great spot!

What a wonderful, quiet place to enjoy our daughter's Middlebury College Commencement! We were so busy that we never had the opportunity to enjoy the lake, but it was exactly what we needed to relax from all the activity. Ashley (and Rufus!) thought of everything! This house is a gem! The house itself is a work of art. Huge windows with an AMAZING lake view, a big yard, very comfortable beds, perfect layout, we absolutely loved it. Our dog was so happy with the yard and window viewing. Very close trails nearby for hiking, and a short drive to Middlebury and Brandon both of which have great shops and restaurants. We had a fire outside each night and our pup took a dip in the lake! Wish we had more time here and we really hope to be back. You will not regret booking this place!

We loved this beautiful lake house for a post-wedding “mini-moon”. Our dogs were able to stay with us which was amazing and they loved being able to swim in the lake. It was a perfect peaceful getaway.

This property does not disappoint!! It is just as beautiful as pictured and described and everything that you might need is provided. The weather was unfortunately not on our side this trip, but the views from inside were amazing and we still had a fun and relaxing trip. The home is beautifully decorated and full of fun and interesting works of art. Take a drive in any direction and the Vermont countryside surrounds you in all of its glory.

Peaceful lakeside retreat
Our daughters joined my wife and I for part of our week stay. Very comfortable for all of us. With the perfect weather we enjoyed the swimming and kayaking on the beautiful lake. Ashley provides everything you need to prepare meals. Lovely artwork and outside landscaping makes her house a gorgeous place to completely relax and unwind. On the 4th we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display on the lake. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home on Lake Dunmore. Ashley was great to work with and the check in and check out process was easy. The home is beautifully decorated and quite well stocked. It is very close to some great hikes in the Branbury State park as well. Highly recommend and we hope to return soon!

Wonderful experience
Property was exactly what we expected based on the VRBO photos. Kitchen well-stocked with necessary appliances and tools. We loved the large windows. Esp. enjoyed sitting in chairs in living room that looked out on the lake. Our dog loved the view, too. Ashley was a perfect host, enjoyed meeting her & Rufus.

Really charming place to be quarantined
What a charming artist's cottage with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. We had to quarantine and the weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed our time. Bird watching right outside the picture window was a highlight as well as exploring all of the fascinating art that is all over. Though perhaps a little small for 2 people that like their own space, this wouldn't have been an issue if the weather was nicer and we were able to hike as much as we intended. Alot of great hiking nearby and even walking the lane of this lakefront neighborhood was very enjoyable.

Our family loved staying at Ashley's place. Lake Dunmore is gorgeous and we enjoyed the sandy beach entry into the lake. That made it very easy for our arthritic senior Labrador Retriever to do her swimming! The views of the lake from her comfortable home are magnificent! Hiking in the area is awesome. Lovely Home getaway
From the pictures to moment we got there the place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, classy but yet felt 100% lake home with lots of art work through out. Our Shetland loved he could run right into the water and go swimming which he loves. Waking up every morning and seeing the lake out of the huge windows never gets old. I could not say enough great things about this property and we are very much looking forward to our stay again in the coming year! Thank you!

Location is quiet and on a gravel road that provides a 2 mile walk with out going on the paved main road. The house is beautiful with everything you need. The outside is perfect and the lawn area offered plenty of room for our small dog to enjoy too. The beach area allows you to walk into the water and launch the kayaks, Which is unique for Lake Dunmore and truly makes this a gem of a property to rent.

We loved our peaceful three days unplugged by the lake. The photos are beautiful, but the property and house are even more lovely in person. We were surrounded by a charming, art-filled wonderland. There was everything anyone would need (and more): comfy beds, great books to read, and even an album full of ideas/brochures how to enjoy the area. We made short trips to Brandon and Middlebury which had great food, shopping, and groceries. For our first time using Vrbo, we feel very blessed to have selected Ashley’s property. I’m ready to go back and we just got home.
