Perfectly located on the beach and near restaurants. Easy to get on and off the beach. Only cons are the furniture has stains (probably from people sitting on with sun lotion on) and dining room chairs are coming apart. I can overlook because of the view and location.

According to pictures on the listing the unit appeared to be NEWER than what we experienced.
Upon arrival we found a coffee stain on the counter and oil marks around kitchen cabinet hardware.
We understand the unit needs to be remodeled especially the bathrooms, but there is no reason for it to be unkept.
We found major dust under beds, ceiling fans and the exhaust fans in bathrooms were filthy.
There were no GFI's near vanities.
The door to get into unit would not latch and did not have extra security deadbolt.
Box spring in second bedroom appeared to be moldy. Beds were not comfortable.
At the end of our stay, we removed bedding for washing and noticed the pillows were stained along with the lamps that had water marks on them.
Last but not least, due to all the dust not only did my friend suffer from dust allergens but she also had sleep deprivation from the security light outside shining into the bedroom. Blackout shades would have been nice.
Other than all the above, we did enjoy the view from the balcony.

The next door unit was undergoing construction, and it's another rental by the same agency. They should have not rented this unit during this time, because it was noisy all day, every day. Constant hammering on the walls and drilling. Also, blinds were old and not working well and plumbing needs work because we had to plunge toilets numerous times.

Let me start by saying that I'm not picky at all when it comes to rental property. I can put up with a lot and still be happy at the beach. But, filthy ceiling fans, dirty hallway walls, mildew/mold on the bathroom ceilings, and roaches all over the kitchen are a bit much for the price we paid.
It was our 30th anniversary and we've stayed at Emerald Isles a few times over the years and always had a great experience. This time was different. The first day there we were headed to the store to buy roach bait and spray. Roaches were coming out from under the frig, under the sink, and on the counter tops. When I say roaches, I don't many a few here and there, I mean dozens.
Considering the lack of cleaning I asked for a minimum of my cleaning fee back, but only received part of it. The amount refunded for what we had to put up with was insulting. I guess it's time to find a new condo for vacations.

I would not recommend this property to thise not in perfect fit physical condition. The elevator did not work for parts of 4 days. Other than that It was a good experience. The rental company could not be reached and service was delayed and poor because of this.Our unit was on the 6th floor and check in and check out were very difficult.Also time consuming going up and down all those stairs. A refund for this aggravation would be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. The location was perfect it was near many excellent restaurants and close to several attractions. We went to several Spring training games only 1/2 hour away. The unit was well equipped with dishes, utensils, and linens. Although some of the appliances need replacing(dishwasher toaster). It was mostly in good shape as far as furnishings and beds. The sliding door was very hard to open probably needs lubricating and the cleaning crew needs to clean behind and under things. Many dust bunnies under beds. Generally the unit was clean. The most aggravating thing was the elevator, it was not working on two different times and the climb up 6 flights was hard since I have asthma and another guest just had knee surgery and another has rheumatoid arthritis. We would recommend this resort to others and will consider coming again, hopefully the elevator is repaired or replaced by then. What would also be nice is a key drop-off at the resort and with 3 couples there should be 3 sets of keys.

Overall, a wonderful vacation experience. Walk to Sweet Sage Cafe and Conch Republic which both have excellent food. Post office is only 3 blocks away. Great location. This was our first time at North Redington Beach. Emerald Isle was a nice place to stay. The room was great. The pool was very nice. Every morning the pool was cleaned and the chairs arranged. The location was good as well. There is also onsite assigned parking. The only thing i did notice was that a few of the chairs around the pool need replaced. They had missing or loose straps. But overall I was very pleased with the stay.

We rented this condo at short notice the office were very accommodating. Had a fantastic view from the balcony. Although a little dated now it was very comfortable and clean. My only complaint no laundry in the unit although there is is one on the landing outside. It was well equipped too. Would stay here again, but it does need a little upgrading, also new sun beds are needed around the pool too. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and of course the ocean on your doorstep.

This condo is a great option for those needing 3 BRs. The size is good and it was very comfortable for 6 people. The balcony is awesome with perfect views. The view is better than the pictures. The pool is small but very nice and great access to the beach. The kitchen needs updating badly. The dishwasher is extremely old. The microwave is broken (the turntable). There are plenty of kitchen utensils pots and pans and cooking options but many were dirty when we arrived and had to be washed.The reviews that mention the annoyance of the key access to every door and fence gate is a real problem. It is a huge hassle with only 2 keys to coordinate being able to get back and forth to the beach going through 3 key locked access points (2 gates and a door). The property also has no ramp to get into the elevator. This is a big problem for the luggage cart (there is only 1) and would be impossible for those that are handicapped.Last was the biggest issue. The elevator broke on Friday evening. It was reported by multiple guests (I talked to several others). It was not fixed at the time I left on Saturday morning (7 trips up and down 7 flights of stairs). The overnight answering service was not helpful. It was a disaster. I noticed on the elevator earlier in the week that the elevator license expired on 8/1/15 (we were there the week prior). This is poor management and I would recommend people stay away until someone can verify that this elevator has been fully certified and maintenance brought up to current.
