Cette maison de vacances indépendante et spacieuse a été rénovée avec goût et comprend un jardin d'hiver ensoleillé, deux chambres à coucher et une salle de bains au rez-de-chaussée. Une connexion Wi-Fi est disponible gratuitement dans l'établissement. Il y a aussi des prises de chargeur USB dans la chambre principale et le salon. Avec Chrome Cast dans le salon, vous pouvez diffuser depuis votre appareil portable. Toutes les instructions pour l’utiliser figurent en première page du livre du visiteur. L'agréable village est situé à distance de marche de Derwent Water, avec tous ses sports nautiques, et se trouve à seulement 1,5 kilomètre à pied des champs jusqu'à la ville populaire de Keswick, située dans la région des lacs. Very cosy and warm despite some awfully wet and windy weather for the length of our stay. Excellent location with a pub and café in the village. Superb walking trails straight from the door.
Our party of six adults all agreed we would not hesitate to rebook in the future.

Had another lovely week in this property, not sure if this was our 5th or 6th visit. We stayed here in November with a few niggles, but was very pleased to see all what we mentioned had been mended and cleaned. Storm Ciara payed her visit while we was there but this did not dampen our holiday at all, the worst of the weather was during the night. We had some beautiful walks around the lake, Braithwaite, the Bowderstone, Stone Circles and Latrig on to Threlkeld and our not forgetting our daily trip to The Kings Arms! Unfortunately Quiet Ways was already booked for when we return in November but will definitely book again at another date

After staying in Quiet Ways on several occasions, the property is now showing signs of wear.
After staying in Quiet Ways on several occasions, the property is now showing signs of wear. The toaster, extractor hood, a glass, blinds in the living/dining room and a wardrobe door were broken. I had to clean the dishwasher before use and a couple of the kitchen cupboards could do with a wipe inside. I reported dog mess that had been left in the back garden. Having said all of this we still enjoyed our stay and have booked to go back in Feb, but it would be nice if the above was rectified.

Great cottage, everything we needed and more, grandchildren loved the toys they found in sitting room cupboard, would highly recommend and hope to return, even the guy who we picked key up from was very friendly xx

We had an amazing time.
We had an amazing time. Weather was great enabling us to explore the attractions of Derwent Water.
Easy access from Portinscale to Keswick by car and by foot, especially for dogs.
House was conveniently located, would definitely recommend and stay there again.
No local or immediate shops to buy anything, such as milk and bread.
Some aspects of the house were a little dated. TV and dvd could be connected via HDMI or updated to newer appliances.
Upstairs bedroom and en-suite were excellent; loved the Velux windows it created a bright and uplifting room.
Personally, value for money was not comparable to similar properties that we’ve stayed in at other locations.
