Great location. Nice place to stay. I have a couple of concerns. The one bedroom and bath that is located under the deck. Smells like mold, the floor remains moist all the time. The water pressure in the shower is terrible. It trickels out. The main living areas are nice and very accomidating. Overall the stay was good. Just think these issues should be addressed.

Was a little disappointed that the 4 bedroom was downstairs with outside entrance. We made it work. The outside light on the staircase did not work. A little dangerous. The garbage disposer did not work.(just letting you know). Over all we had a great time. Thanks

This property has a great location to create memories with all ages. The beach is a short walk away and with vehicles not being allowed on it so you have plenty of room to spread out. There is public parking close by and it was great for us to host a hot dog party for family and adopted family friends (about 40 and ages 3years to ??? Age- we don't talk about age....) get together with a golf cart we rented to transport our family and grandkids and stuff and others using the close public parking, We were able to play in the surf, build sand castles just like our relatives have been doing for almost 175 years! Our house made all of this possible. We did have a couple of hiccups, but Jacob, the owner, was quick to respond to any of my requests and make them happen. The house was clean and ready to go the minute we walked into the door. Another plus is that Jacob owns the house next door so if you need more room check out the other one as well. That is how our family had many vacations renting houses side by side! Come on down the water is fine and make some memories!

Met up with sister & niece/nephews. Had a great reunion. We were able to play at beach, go on amusement rides, even took the ferry over to the peninsula. Nights were relaxing in a quiet neighborhood.

This is the perfect location for walking to the beach. We also had two older travelers with us and the bedroom downstairs was perfect for them, so they didn't have to use the stairs as much.

Great location to the beach. Nice house but one bedroom and bathroom are separate downstairs you can’t reach it without going outside. Needs a little TLC was a rip in top of one couch, broken dresser, a few light bulbs out in closets, just minor little things that need fixed. Other than that we had a great time!

The owner, Jacob, is quick and responsive to inquiries or problems throughout the booking, and then our stay. A few things, such a broken toaster, he replaced. Things we noted that needed attention, such as a loose rail on stairs, he was grateful for letting him know. This house is a quick walk to the beach, even though it’s on the 2nd row. You don’t have a great view of the ocean in the morning, but the quick walk to it was worth it to us. Lots of room for a big group in this house! Thanks Jacob!

The property was awesome and close to the beach. We really enjoyed the entire week. We had a great time and the weather was great. The downstairs bedroom was a plus since I have been in and out of the hospital for the last three years and have to use a walker or a wheelchair to get around. Jacob was always available and took care promptly of any issues!!

Great location from the beach and not to far from town or corner stores. We had 5 adults and our daughters. 13 & 11. Some how we had plenty of hot water for all of us to take quick showers. We even made use of the out door shower a few times. A/C worked great and kept up. The shutters were nice to black out the front two rooms.

We went to Galveston for a dance competition for the grand baby and had several friends join us. This cozy beach house was perfect, only 9 minutes from the convention center and 14 from the Pleasure Pier. There was plenty for us to do when not involved in the competition, the beach is just steps away and there was a great fishing cove about a quarter mile out. The fish were biting too!! The Aquarium was also very close. One note, We didn’t need the pull out sofa but pulled it out to see if it was a viable option when one of the little ones was fussy but it was not comfortable in my opinion.

Kitchen well stocked with all necessities to put on a feast. Even found a traditional coffee maker (there was also a Keurig) which ch we prefer. All good and from patio can hear and see the Gulf.

Nice area to stay, really pretty, walking distance to the beach. Weather was perfect. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Some furniture in the house needs to be replaced, and grill needs to be thoroughly clean, but other that it was a nice stay.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there since we got married on Bermuda Beach. We had our 2 year old, my twin sister, his cousin, and his best friend accompany us. It was great! We all want to go back already!

Location is perfect!
This is the 4th or 5th time renting this property and I thoroughly enjoyed it again. There is an ocean view on the large front deck which is wonderful. There is really only one thing I would mention to improve is the king size mattress is sinking in the middle and was not comfortable. With that being said, it’s a perfect spot for a family vacation. I will return!

Nice beach house
Loved being able to walk to the beach, house was nice, the bed/bath downstairs smelled musty but apparently they are remodeling it this year. They were very responsive when we had a couple issues even offered to come by to help. It was well worth the $$ spent.

A great place by the beach
My family enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was clean and everything worked. It is just a short walk to the beach, and we walked to it many times. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, and on the porch swing under the deck. I did not see any bugs inside or mosquitos outside. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Kicking off summer
We've stayed on this property and their other property next door several times. Both homes are always clean and a perfect fit for our family of 5. The location is a 1 minute walk to the private beach, which you can watch from the porch. The only suggestion is the the hair dryer is broken. Other than that, another great stay! We will be back again next year!

Beach house
We had a great stay and the property had excellent amenities for our trips to the beach. Unfortunately, the room on the bottom floor was uninhabitable due to the odor. The deck also had a few loose boards as well as some exposed nails. Other than the aforementioned areas of concern, we had a great stay and look forward to our next visit to Galveston.

Absolutely relaxing and beautiful!
We arrived and it was just like the photos! Clean and ready for us to enjoy our time. We had a trash bag issues and it was dealt with immediately! The place was relaxing to decompress from the daytime events. The beach was just as beautiful. The walk to the beach could have been better cleaned up(mowed down) but that didn’t stop us! The whole trip was great. I’m already planning our family trip for before school starts and really hoping it’s available! Thank you!

I am not lying
The owner didn't believe me when I said that in his property were bedbugs he thought I was a lying about it. I didn't have any reason to lie about it. But ok I know and I was the one that saw the bedbugs and was bitten by them I guess that the only way they can get charged more when you rent a place and you forget to put the trash 🗑 out to the curve
