This is the 2nd time my family has stayed here & it's been great both times :)

The view is incredible. Great location. Loved hearing the sound of the waves no matter where you are at in the house. 180 degree view. The living quarters were very comfortable.

Beautiful scenery and Home. The House was perfect. The view Amazing !!. WE were able to see whales at a far distance , couldn't have asked for better memories!

The home is just as described. Very spacious and warm. The views are amazing! We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and balcony. The kitchen is very well equipped. Being able to walk to the beach is an added bonus. The drive to Fort Bragg and Mendocino is a little curvy but worth it. Thank you for a lovely time.

Looks exactly like the photos, sunsets and stars were amazing, but not every night. Always beautiful though. Comfy, well supplied home. 25 minutes to Ft Bragg, 45 to Mendocino and no great (mile or more) walking from the house.

Extraordinary, soulful and wondrous. We love and respect this home highly. My wife and I have stayed up and down the Mendo coast for 25 years and feel a connection to it much like we do the mountains where we live in Truckee, CA. We very much appreciate being able to seek the tranquility that is bestowed upon the Westport Headlands and feel quite fortunate to visit here. It’s heaven on Earth!

Everything was really nice it was easy to check in the house was comfortable it was clean the beds were comfortable we enjoyed everything about it we have no complaints at all the only thing is the picture shows the steps leading all the way down to the beach area and that isn't happening and my grandkids were a little disappointed with that but they were able to walk around the corner and go down a second set of steps but not the private ones we thought we had

The house was amazing everything you need for your beach vacation. Check in process was easy and we loved it so much asked if it was possible and they were very accommodating!!

We love it here. Our 2nd vacation here and made friends with the locals. Counting down the days to next year. 💙

I had a wonderful trip here to reconnect with college friends. The view is beautiful, the beaches are gorgeous (but a bit hard to find, look online before you go!), and the house is beautiful. There are wonderful porches to do yoga and read and watch the sunset, and there’s a hot tub which was perfect for my friend’s back pain. Thank you for having us, we had a wonderful time!!

Timed our trip around full moon phase. Wasn’t disappointed wish I could post a picture. The house was clean everything worked stayed warm. Just an all around nice stay!

We can't imagine a better place to celebratte our wedding anniversary. The home is so comfy, the oceanviews are endless, and the hosts are exceptionaly thoughtful in how they've furnished the space.

Beautiful, wild coastal scenery, out of town but not too remote. Amenities on point, we wanted for nothing but more time to enjoy the incredible ocean views and relaxing vibe of the sweet spot known as Westport. The only point that was a little off was that we brought out dogs and the entire property was not fenced, so when they wandered onto what seemed like an open lot next door, we got yelled at from the big white house across the street - the woman told us to get off her property! Who knew? A bit awkward. Other thank that, it is a gorgeous, comfortable, relaxing property that met all of our expectations.

We spent an extended four night weekend at Heart Song for a family wedding at nearby Pacific Star Winery. This wasn’t our first time to the area but our first time staying in Westport, and Heart Song did not disappoint. We enjoyed coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean from the cliff side deck, breakfast on the upstairs deck taking in the view, and nightly soaks in the hot tub. The area was quiet and relaxing. We did make two trips to the community store for a few goodies which is literally a two minute walk from the house. All of us slept comfortably at Heart Song. Just a couple of notes. One bedroom is the former downstairs porch but the owners have set it up for privacy and have an electric stove that can be used to heat or circulate air. The second bedroom has both the larger bed with bathroom and ocean view, hot tub off the deck and laundry closet. The daybed with trundle is also in this large room but there is an armoire and an optional privacy screen to divide the two areas. This is where the parents and teens slept. The other full bathroom is upstairs by the kitchen in great room. The owners are also pet friendly and provide towels, bedding, and bowls for dogs (even though we didn’t bring ours this trip). We all enjoyed our short stay at Heart Song and look forward to returning for a longer stay.

This is our 2nd year here. We are drawn here simply from the proximity of the ocean. When you walk outside you get the feeling and smell of the ocean air. The sound of shorebirds passing through and the crashing waves is really just so relaxing. It's very quiet and only minutes to Hwy 1 if you're planning excursions. We stayed 6 nights and cooked all of our meals. The kitchen is very functional. We used the gas barbeque outside a couple times and was nice. The beds are comfortable. Our Border Collies chase a ball down in the back lawn area or hangout on the upper deck where they can't wander around. Just a GREAT Place to enjoy family. Mike Barr

The host & property manager were so kind and gracious. The house is stunning. The beds extremely comfortable and tons of pillows. The kitchen is spacious and made for cooking. The beach is perfect and so fun to explore. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The memories made with our family we will cherish forever.

My husband and I, along with our 13 year old daughter stayed at Heart Song. From the moment we arrived, I was in love. The AMAZING views, the perfect decor, all the amenities-perfectly thought out so guests have everything they could possibly need, the private beach, the unbelievable sunsets we watched sitting on the patio, there was nothing more we could have wanted. All of it, wonderful. Within hours of being there, I was already picturing future trips bringing more family next time! Love, love, LOVE Heart Song!!!!! Thank you for sharing this cozy property with the world, I can't wait to come back to our Westport "home" again someday. ❤️

Very relaxing and peaceful location. The view of ocean from the property was pure enjoyment. Sunsets were outstanding.

The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star rating was because of the small refrigerator (it’s not a full size) and how it took nearly 24 hrs for it to be cold enough to keep perishables. We had to keep the bulk of our food in coolers with ice packs. The other problem was it was incredibly difficult to get a hold of the property manager based on connectivity issues. Again, not her fault and she was incredible nice, but if there was an emergency, guests would be in a pickle. Otherwise it was an amazing stay and we would definitely do it again! The views, beds, kitchen, hot tub… it was incredible.

We had a wonderful stay at Heart Song. It is more spacious than the photos depict. The view is breathtaking! The host was very responsive and even bought a high chair for our stay. There is a delightful small grocery steps away. The house was equipped with everything we needed .. iron, hair dryer, magnifying mirror! The kitchen equipment was very well stocked as well. If our travels take us back that way we will visit again for certain ❤️

My family (kids ages 11 & 14) and I had a magical stay at Heart Song! The layout of the house made it perfect for cooking, reading, playing games, or just sitting and watching the waves crash on the rocks. It was the "slow down" we all needed, we hope to visit again!

This property is all about the views! Stunning whitewater ocean front views Left feeling relaxed and refreshed, we'll be back!
