We stayed 5 nights with my family (3 kids and 3 adults). Less than 2 hours before check in we were informed the cleaners couldn’t make it so we had to clean the place ourselves until the cleaners would come the next morning, or we could wait until the next day to come. Staying someplace else that night wasn’t an option (we were already driving and almost there). The owner was apologetic and said this hadn’t happened before. The morning after check in we left the home early to allow for the cleaners to enter, and they canceled again. The owner found a replacement cleaner to come that afternoon (day 2). Even with the cleaning done, the carpet was still very dirty and it didn’t feel clean. Cleanliness is a priority for us, especially given Covid, so this was upsetting. The pros: the place is spacious, close to the beach and in cute neighborhood. The cons: not clean and I was disappointed that the owner didn’t accommodate us for the cleaning issue besides refunding the cleaning fee. She did give the option to contact vrbo to stay somewhere else but there was nothing available for 6 people the last week of summer. I understand the cleaners canceling twice was not in her control, but she could control providing a fair concession for our troubles. Refunding any portion of our stay (besides the cleaning fee) would have made it more fair as a guest paying for clean stay (which we did not have) and the fact that we had to clean the place ourselves the first day.

Last minute find to give us some extra space from our overly house closer to the beach. Couldn’t be happier, great location, peace and quiet, this place has it all. Thanks Christina!!

Christine and bobby's home was just perfect for our family vacation with our adult children. The three separate floors to the townhome allowed us to spread out and have privacy, yet the common areas were plenty large enough for us all to be together. The location was great to head to ocean city, fenwick island state park, bethany beach, etc. The pool at the complex was just around the corner and so refreshing, large and not crowded. Our hosts thought of everything we could need, they even provided bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.. Our family isn't able to commit to a whole week at the beach and its hard to find accommodations that allow for half weeks, so we were glad for that perk too! (Although we all felt we would love to stay longer!) We learned our lesson to get to the beach early, because like all beach towns parking can get crazy in the summer. Fenwick state park was the way to go for us during the day. Parking lightened up in the evening to enjoy bethany. And ocmd boardwalk perfect end to a day. We were so glad we found this wonderfully clean and perfectly thought out townhome. Also I need to say Christina and Bobby are The Most gracious hosts! They were always just a text away, had excellent communication before and during the trip. Anyone who can handle All my husbands questions with such kindness...well they must be saints lol We cant recommend this home enough, book today, you wont regret it!

Everything was easy to find and a lot of cook wear was provided. Only suggestion would be to have a tea kettle to warm water, cutting board and a steam clothing iron in one of the closets to iron clothes. Lots of games, movies, magazines, books and Netflix was very convenient.

My wife and I had a wonderful visit to the Delaware beaches. This townhouse in Ocean View is a great location to start each day from. The house is clean and the furniture is comfortable. Communication with the owner was timely and quite pleasant. They were eager to help make our stay trouble free and as convenient as they could. Thank You!

Location was perfect for my family of 5. House was clean and three spacious levels allowed us to spread out. Local beaches and downtown Bethany Beach were a close drive. Market for food and supplies just a few minutes away. Christina was in frequent contact and was extremely helpful throughout the process of renting and during the stay. Would highly recommend this property for families.

Very spacious town home for your vacation needs. Place needed a few amenities that need upgrading including the deck. We came down on a Sunday and ended up having to clean the whole house as it was very dirty. Went out and bought our own cleaning supplies. Took up a whole day of vacation. Ice maker didn't work and we found the garbage disposal to not work with dirty water collecting under the sink. We are in the middle of a pandemic and you would think that these cleaning crews would go above and beyond. However--the Homeowners were very accommodating and understanding. Great communication and got back to us quickly. They refunded our cleaning fee and refunded us a day for our troubles.

The neighborhood is great, the house is cute and super comfy, our stay was very pleasant. The only problem we had is that even though the house had been cleaned recently there was dog or cat hair everywhere, and one of the members of our group is allergic to animal hair. Putting that aside, everything was fine, the host was really great at communicating with us and answering our questions, and she even provided a booklet with information on the beaches, activities, house rules, etc. which really came in handy. We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay.

Christina and Bobby were friendly and accommodating during our visit. Their place is lovely! Clean, comfortable and spacious- a perfect place for our party of 8. I especially loved the decor of the entire house. Their beach theme was very fitting and gave a homey feeling. The bedrooms were spacious and the place was equipped with a lot of entertainments A great DVD collection, tennis rackets (there is a tennis court right next to the community pool), bicycles of all sizes for the family. The kitchen was equipped with sufficient cutlery, pots and pans for cooking, and utensils. Location is perfect! In a quiet and clean private community that didn't have a lot of traffic so our children had a great time riding the bikes and walking around. It was a quick 7 mins drive to the nearest beach, which is Bethany. It's not a large beach but we loved the quaint shops and restaurants! For a larger, more activities beach, Rehoboth is just 25 mins drive away. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and I found Christina and Bobby to be very kind and helpful. Christina responded to my texts almost immediately when I had questions. We would recommend this place and will be returning next summer!

Planned rental: 07/26-07/31/2019. Initial booking : 2/24/2019. Final payment: 06/16/2019 Arrived in town, shortly after 9 am. Drove to property to inspect overall location and condition. Noticed trash and recycle cans OVERFLOWING with cardboard boxes stacked nearby. Drove to beach area. Settled in on beach chair. Receive text from owner at 10:14am. Stated she just realized she never received copy of contract or driver's license... STRANGE when the final payment was received over a month ago, wouldn't it have been nice to receive a "reminder" then, not on THE DAY OF arrival?? So we worked out things via text and email on my phone. Planned on heading back to rental for 3 pm check-in. One place on the listing shows 3 pm check-in, while another shows 4 pm. Check out is shown as 10 am AND 11 am also. Which one am I supposed to believe? So we tried the door code that was requested, but no luck. At 3:09 tried to call owner. Again at 3:18. She finally answered at 3:32. By this time, my husband was also on the phone with HomeAway support. Her response on the door code: "Oh I guess the painter changed it" . No way, nothing was freshly painted inside. So she provided the correct door code to me on the phone, I wonder how she "retrieved" this from the "painter"?? So her first question once I was inside was "So did the cleaners finish?" How would you NOT know this as the owner?? So there was no hair or other in the tubs and showers, there was no residue in the toilets from the previous tenants, so you could technically call it clean, but overall this place was FAR from clean. My husband took the time to take the debris out of the suction tube on the vacuum cleaner and go over the carpets so we could walk around in comfort. We used the broom on the vinyl floors, and emptied the FULL dishwasher. I sure hope the "cleaners" have their own vacuum, there was no way the house vacuum was usable in the state it WAS in. By the time the trash collector rolled in on Tuesday morning, we had to "borrow" another trash bin from a neighbor's unit. How could this much trash have accumulated and the "cleaner" didn't contact the owner for resolution before the next tenant arrives? There was NO cleaner on site on our check in day. There was no sign of a painter being there recently. There was plenty of trash remaining to give a poor presentation on out first day. And the owner's response was "Wow, July slipped by, and I just realized I didn't get the contract." Incredible.

Not as clean as we expected upon arrival. Carpet is soiled and walls had marks. Large enough for a family and the pool was nice.

The property at Amaganst was very convenient to Bethany Beach, shopping and restaurants. The listing of the property on VRBO that describes available features and amenities was accurate and comprehensive. It was a great place to have a family vacation and so much more comfortable than a hotel stay.

It's a well-suited property very well located. Beach, shopping, restaurants are a short drive away, clean neighborhood pool is a short walk away. The house is set-up very user-friendly, well-appointed kitchen, A/C works perfectly, there was a BBQ we used one night, and the beach toys/tennis rack, bikes. All in all it provides everything you'd want for a lovely stay. Thank you!
