We loved this place! Location was great, everything as pictured and described. The hosts are friendly, helpful and have great suggestions to see and do in Munising. The hosts thought of everything and had it available, and the decorating is so very “Lake”! The best part is the view - the lake is so beautiful. We hope to be back again soon! Stayed here for the ice fest. Just a short drive to all the activities, so worked as a great base camp for 3 climbers and a ton of gear.

This is a prime location for many of the wonderful activites in central Michigan UP. It's very quiet at night. The kitchen in this upstairs suite is fully equipped and there's a full sized refrigerator. (but noo dishwasher or laundry). The suite was immaculately cleaned. The host promptly answered our questions. Only good things to say! I will return on my next trip to this area.

The upstairs apartment had a great view, great air flow, well stocked kitchen supplies, very clean.

Very clean, great decor, great views. Walking distance to many activities. Has just about everything you need during your stay. Great value also. We originally booked a hotel room at one of the national chain hotel. We're glad we found this gem.

Great view of the bay. Gave us plenty of room. Full kitchen (no dishwasher). Comfortable bed. "2-remote" TV can be difficult to master, but ample programming offered. Bring your own soap, shampoo, coffee. Quiet location with nice view, but no restaurants nearby.

The property was very clean, decorated very nicely, had everything you would need. A really nice view.

The apartment was wonderful and the view was awesome. You could tell that great care was taken when decorating, stocking, and cleaning. It was a bit chilly when we were there but if we had visited in the summer, we would have loved to watch the action at the dock and to walk to town on the bike path. As it was, we could easily get to town or to Pictured Rocks for hiking and exploring. We would definitely return.

The property is exactly like the photos and very comfortable. I’ve rarely checked into such a clean place. Usually something is cruddy - like the kitchen sink or sponge. This property was pristine. The region has breathtaking trails and beaches. Friends were very impressed with our photos!

We spent five days exploring Pictured Rocks and surrounding areas. The place and location were perfect for us. Every detail was taken care of. We never met the hosts but they were responsive to our requests. Cute decor, clean and great location with views of the bay. I would definitely return!

Pride of ownership shows in this spotless, well equipped apartment. Watching the boats and activity on the lake from here was fantastic.

Amazing place - perfect for a couple's getaway!

Really clean and nice place to stay

Property was perfect for a couple or perhaps family w 2 young kids. Super quiet, impeccably clean; hosts live below unit - friendly and helpful but never intrusive. Definitely recommend if you are headed to the UP. Beautiful well marked hiking trails and beach combing & chargers or guided kayaking (water is COLD so we weren’t real comfortable risking hypothermia unguided). Highly recommend this place and Munising (for about 3 days unless you really enjoy hiking). No cell service with T Mobile up here - only Wi-Fi calling.

The online pics do not do just for the real place! Very cute place with everything people could need. It is located within 10 mins of food, shopping, tours. We were able to walk to the shipwreck tour. We met the owners who were extremely kind and helpful with local things to do. We never had an issue with noise. It was truly a great place to stay.

The owners have poured so much heart and love into this property, making it super well maintained, clean, charming and comfortable. It was a perfect home base for us as we explored all the area had to offer: hiking, biking, Picture Rocks Cruise, day trip to Marquette, Presque Isle, St. Peter's Cathedral, day trip to Grand Marais while exploring the Pictured Rocks National Coast and waterfalls. We hit the jackpot with warm, sunny weather during our stay! Would highly recommend!

Great space for our time in Munising. It was filled with charm and wonderful for relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Communication and ease of check in was appreciated. I would definitely recommend this stay for a couple.

We enjoyed our stay in Munising. This was a perfect location for us to explore Munising and surrounding UP towns. We brought our boat and the location by the public launch was fantastic. The rental was perfect for the two of us. Very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed and more. Hosts are accessible and friendly, but give their guests privacy. We would definitely recommend this wonderful listing.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayview Suites #1--it was sooo comfortable, cozy and super functional. Location - across from the boat landing so we had great views of the lake from every room. Unit - Immaculately maintained. We love to stay in VRBOs and make our own meals and this kitchen was set up perfectly with all the cookware we needed. The WIFI worked great. The bed is super comfortable (and so is the futon couch). There were extra blankets and pillow choices (firm/soft). There is abundant storage in the bathroom and bedroom. Lots of places to stash all our stuff. Windows open to get great breezes off the lake BUT they also have blinds and room darkening drapes to allow for easy sleeping. Parking is off an alley so nicely out of the way with easy in/out. (The owners were super nice and let us store our bikes inside on a day it rained.) There was someone staying in unit #2 but we never heard a thing. We would HIGHLY recommend staying here! Be sure to eat local - For lunch loved Eh! Burger and Pictured Rock Pizza. For a dinner splurge be sure to go to Tracey's at Roam Inn - AMAZING!

Great place! Very clean and well thought out. Shelly and Mike have created a little "home away from home". The central location in the UP made it convenient to all areas of interest. We hiked to the numerous waterfalls in the area, and visited several lighthouses. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is literally right down the road. If you're looking for a place that is close to lots of natural beauty and outdoor activity, this would be it. At the end of the day, you have a welcoming place to rejuvenate for the next day.

Lovey, fully stocked apartment . Steps away from the water with the perfect view of the sunrise. Great location, easy access to Munising and surrounding area. Great to come home to after a day of hiking the many trails, viewing the waterfalls or kayaking on Lake Superior.

Everything about this place was lovely. From the easy door security code check-in to the water view, this apartment had everything you need for a stay. Even the water pressure in the shower was good. We brought our bikes and stored them inside on the lower level along with our cooler once we stocked the refrigerator/freezer. You’re right across the street from the glass bottom boat tours and can walk to other boat excursions. If you need gas or a party store, you can walk there. You’re also within walking distance of a mountain bike/walking trail in the woods. Pictures Rocks and several waterfalls and beaches are nearby and a MUST! You’re also minutes from downtown Munising. The hosts were helpful and readily available for recommendations as well. The property is well maintained and very welcoming, too. We would definitely recommend this rental and certainly would visit again. Five Stars!
