Very quiet area and appreciated the new curtains a real plus in main bedroom. Lovely view from the window of the big hill. Enjoyed the 'maggie' that tapped on our window enquiring if "breakfast" was available!! We liked that there was no one in the attached room as there is not enough sound insulation. Previous time the man's voice was clearly heard. Overall a very good set up. It was clean. Some windows looking at the back needed washing. Good bathroom, with the new toilet.

A very comfortable little unit for a peaceful beach stay. Just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful white sandy Carrickalinga beach, and sunsets (amazing). The pool and bbq area very appreciated on the very warm days.

When we arrived for our three night stay the fridge was not cold enough to safely store our food. Being a Friday night nothing could be done and had no option for the fridge to be fixed or replaced. Also the first night we discovered the toilet was not draining properly when flushed. A plumber was contacted and this fixed on the Saturday. The pool and spa area was great. The gardens around the unit was quite bushy and overgrown with a big sign on the fridge warning that snakes has been sighted in the area I think the gardens and areas could be changed to not attract snakes so close to the house. The inside of our unit was quite dated and need to some updating. Wobbly cupboard handles chipped wood and stained carpet. The cooking pots and pans were not in good shape. All non stick pans had the non stick coating coming off and didn’t look safe to use. The unit has great potential and is in a good location close to the beach.

I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. The property wasn’t clean when we arrived. The couch had chips all,over it. We left it cleaner than we found it and we were charged for a cleaning fee.There was no toaster to be found. The air conditioner was useless over the hot days we were there.

The location and amenities of the complex was great, we couldn't ask for better. The unit itself is quite outdated and needs some improvements. It is well equipped for a comfortable stay. But the beds are old, the bathroom and kitchen outdated. The lounges are not overly nice to sit on.We will happily come back to the Cove apartments but will stay in another unit.

Thank goodness the holiday home was comfortable because the weather was so bad we spent a lot of time in it, out of the very stormy weather. It was the weekend Adelaide lost power everywhere!The aircon needs a service tho, we had trouble getting warm.A kangaroo hopped up the rd and stayed eating our lawn for 3/4 hr on Friday evening!!

Not the unit I booked as there was no internet. Nice spot quiet area. Facilities were nice and clean. Children disappointed pool was not open. They did enjoy playing on the tennis court and seeing some kangaroos at end of the street.

a well equipped and comfortable unit for a few days at beautiful Carrickalinga. Only suggestion is for a mirror to be placed in children's bedroom. Kids loved the pool and spa, so close by 2 minute walk to the beach. Quiet area for bike riding. Played lots of tennis too.

This property was nice but needs to be updated a bit. The old fashion plastic curtain around the shower was annoying with clinging to you. The 3 seater lounge chair sags in the middle so it is hard to get in/out off, and when you do sit you lean towards the middle, which is very uncomfortable. Other than those 2 issues it was a nice place and well located.

Unit 1 just a lovely stroll from beautiful beach with bike/footpath along length of Carrickalinga to Normanville Beach.My only problem was musty smell from being closed and bit cold to keep open. Nice drives close to Sellicks Beach Buddhist site plus also Victor harbor. Glacier Rock with Beiscious home-made meals worth trip ( book table). Tried to see waterfalls on dirt track out of Normanville but alas they were closed in week we were there.

The location was a street away from the beach, and although there were no sea views, we could hear the sea at night. As we were the only ones there, it was very quiet and peaceful. We were required to take our own sheets and towels which was fine, but taking a bathmat would have been advantageous, as the one provided was old and dirty. The doona and pillow coverings were also old and torn. There was a DVD player provided with an amazing amount of DVD’s, but we couldn’t get the player to work. Apart from these minor issues, I would highly recommend this accommodation which is well located for exploring the area.

Nice apartments, clean and plenty of room 2 streets from amazing beach, a little on the tired side, cupboards in bathroom and kitchen could do with updating but very pleasant. No shops or restaurants in carrickalinga which was surprising but would be lovely in warmer weather. Normanville and yankallila had lots of shops and eateries a few kms down the road.

Great place to be so close to the beach, hearing the waves crash on shore at night. Very close to Normanville and Yankallia shops, cafes, hotels and bakeries. Relaxing site with minimal steps to the 2 bedroom unit, very desirable for walker access. Very enjoyable.

Clean, comfortable home unit, with reasonable kitchen facilities. Comfy bed, short walk to beach area, fairly quiet at northern end of Carrickalinga. Shared pool and spa - spa was wonderful. Phone signal weak, couldn't hot spot mobile (not such a deal but would be good to know that). No shops at Carrickalinga, but a fairly short trip to Normanville.
