View & location were great.

Paid parking for 2nd car. Having one set of keys was inconvenient for 2 couples doing different things at times.

Loved the location & the view . Unit was comfortable , clean & felt close to home .

Water pressure in showers low . Has a great Fridge , but coolness wasn’t good. We tried adjusting but it went as low as it could , but not cool enough . Freezer was great and worked well .

love the location, we can park our car in the parking spot provided and walk everywhere especially love the less than one minute walk to the beach . also love waking up to the amazing water views from the front balcony.

Location was great, very close and walking distance to the beach, IGA and the local lunch and dinner spots. It also had all the necessary appliances, the apartment looked well kept. Also close driving distance to Nelson Bay Marina.

I wish the mattress in the second bedroom was more comfortable, and unfortunately the floors didn’t look like they had been swept or mopped before we arrived. It would’ve been nice to have cover on the balcony, as unfortunately there was a bit of rain so it would’ve been nice to still be able to sit out on the balcony.

Needed 2 sets of keys and fobs. This was a very big inconvenience. Needs to be vacuumed as the floor rug was quite disgusting and took quite a bit to clean. Needs an awning on front patio as when it rained it all came inside.

The Location was fantastic,walking distance to shops beach and park. The kitchen was beautiful with everything you needed on hand. The unit was massive with plenty of room. I loved that it had a big dinner table, 2 bathrooms, front and back balcony. We were really happy with the unit. Shoal Bay was beautiful and the beach was fantastic for the kids as it was so calm. There where stand up paddle boards and kayaks for hire. The food was really good and we were very impressed with the quality. We had Italian, Thai and ate at The Cafe and they were all excellent. The customer service from all the businesses was above and beyond. We found all the shop owners and locals to be really friendly, helpful and pleasant. The local kebab shop would have to have been the cleanest takeaway store In Australia. 10/10 they also had fantastic ice cream. We can’t wait to go back.

I disliked the linen was an extra cost, (I also didn’t realise this until after we had booked.) I paid the extra for it to be provided however we still had to make the beds up when we arrived. It was quite hard to make the bunks and I would have love to just arrive and have that all set up ready to go. The pillows were horrible, but I believe that’s a very personal thing. I normally take enough for the whole family but I only took my own this time. I then let my daughter use them as the pillows provided were to big for my girls to lye on with out getting a sore neck, which then meant my husband and I got stuck with the big pillows Lol The unit was clean but it was a little dusty.
