Oceanfront: Step to the Beach from Your Porch!
Cette maison est l'une des deux seules existant le long de toute la côte qui est à la fois en bord de mer et en bordure du parc d'État Asilomar à l'arrière. C'est un véritable «Beach House» où vous pouvez réellement observer les baleines depuis le canapé du salon!
Très bien situé - une courte promenade le long de l'eau jusqu'à Spanish Bay / Pebble Beach.
La maison est simple, robuste et confortable. À partir de 2019, la maison a été rénovée avec de nouvelles baignoires, de nouvelles peintures, de nouveaux sols carrelés, de nouveaux tapis, des couvre-fenêtres, des luminaires, etc. Le rez-de-chaussée présente un plan d'étage ouvert avec un grand salon, salle à manger et cuisine qui coule de l'un à l'autre. Il y a de grandes baies vitrées le long de la façade avec de grandes vues ouvertes sur la plage. Le salon comprend une grande cheminée à bois, un canapé confortable et des fauteuils, une table de jeu, une télévision par satellite, une chaîne stéréo, etc. La cuisine est bien équipée avec beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine et d'appareils électroménagers. Les plats sont faits à l'ancienne car il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle. Mais puisque l'évier de la cuisine fait face à l'océan, la tâche de laver la vaisselle est assez indolore!
A l'étage, il y a trois chambres confortables, toutes avec de grandes fenêtres, des lits confortables et une télévision par satellite à écran plat. Il y a aussi un pont supérieur donnant sur les dunes et la plage.
Dehors, vous trouverez un foyer dans le sable, parfait pour les feux de joie ... ou tout simplement asseyez-vous sur l'un des bancs et contemplez les étoiles. Le ciel nocturne est incroyable car il y a peu de lumière ambiante!
Le célèbre sentier de loisirs qui s'étend de Pebble Beach à Santa Cruz est juste en face. Vous pouvez vous promener à Spanish Bay Resort (peut-être un mile) pour un dîner de classe mondiale, ou flâner le long des sentiers du parc d'État d'Asilomar.

Excellent location.
Deer visited the front yard every morning.
Parking for 3+ cars, could probably fit six cars in the driveway if you really tried.
No dishwasher, no problem.
Photos need updating, as some of the furniture is different than pictured. More photos would be helpful for people to get an understanding of the floor plan.
The shower head in the downstairs bathroom is low (approx. 5'6" high).
Kitchen chairs need some attention. The legs on most are loose.
All in all, the house is a great getaway. Would stay again.

We enjoy the daily walks along the beach. Views of the ocean and scenic coastline are visible from almost every window from sunrise to sunset.

It’s a beautiful property with the best view! The beach is just across the street! Love that!We did start with a bit of a hiccup/confusion with the property not being clean upon arrival but it was promptly taken care of and the situation made right. We would definitely stay again if in the area! Easy distance to restaurants, shops. Plenty of room!

Older, but very nice home. Only downside is the popularity of the beach meant lots of people. We had a couple issues with the house, but the owner took care of them asap.

We call this gem of a beach house the “Blue House”. The location is prime, property is beautiful, clean & well stocked! We meet our friends who also bring their grandkids & we have a blast every year! It’s close to Carmel, shops in Pacific Grove & the Aquarium & other attractions like the wharf, shops & entertainment. There's a great ocean view to boot!

This house was so cozy and the perfect place for all of us to stay over the Big Sur marathon weekend! The views were amazing to wake up to everyday and loved that we could bring my sister’s dogs with us (they LOVED walking on the beach every morning).

Incredible location - no need to drive anywhere if you don’t want to. Great patio to sit out on and drink coffee and take in the view! Well equipped and very comfortable! Perfect!

We booked a weekend for son's birthday, who lives near beach in Santa Cruz. He was wowed by the beach at this house. The pictures of the house represented it well, including all the ocean views from every room. House kitchen well appointed for cooking. So appreciated enough silverware for many meals. The two minute walk to tide pools was a favorite, as well as enjoying towns nearby. Watching the baby seal at the cove of Point Lobos will always be remembered. Can't wait to go back!

We loved being able to just walk across the street and enjoy low tide, walk to a sandy beach or just walk along the water. Our only issue was that the kitchen counters had food stuck to the front edges and several dishes were in the cupboard, dirty; even had pasta stuck to them. But, we had a wonderful time.

As advertised….cozy and comfy! Lots of deer came to visit. The surf was at his highest and was beautiful. Had a glitch with the TV and a new one was delivered. Be aware there aren’t any spices or coffee to start you out! Smallish kitchen but certainly doable!
And doing dishes old school was reminiscent of my childhood!
Great location for walking, shell gathering, tide pool playing!

Wow!! What an amazing house with incredible views!! House was clean and beautiful and the beds were extremely comfy. Stocked with all of the necessities to have a comfortable stay. Steps to the beach but also perfectly content sitting on the porch and watching the waves. We had an amazing stay and definitely would book a stay again

Love this house. It's a literal stone's thrown from the ocean. Great views, comfy beds, kitchen has all you need. We would stay here again.
Oh, and communication with the host was quick and efficient. She is amazing.

This was our second stay at this home and we loved it. The views from all the rooms are spectacular! So many beautiful sunsets 🌅 without leaving the home. The home is comfortable and supplies everything you need. We can’t wait to come back next year 😍

This house has an amazing location, very comfortable beds and pillows and a great amount of space for 6 people! The only thing I think that could be improved is the comfort of the outdoor space. The benches and small patio area wasn’t very comfortable; but the ability to just walk across the beach for walks and sunsets was well worth the small amount of bench discomfort. I want to book this again for this same weekend next year!

The property is very comfortable (I love the cabin feel) and a perfect location. We watched the sunset every evening from our front yard. It’s right across from our favorite hiking trail. We even walked to Pebble Beach. We saw deer, whales and even a coyote. Such a relaxing vacation.

If you expect a 1990 vintage property, this is fine. Needs lots of little things to improve, like the coffee pot due not work with the coffee maker, so no coffee, the espresso has no pods so no coffee, so easy fixes. Sheets are tired, and mattresses seem pretty old. One roll of paper towels provided, should be more. These are just a few items, there are others…
So mostly a general lack of basic items, etc

Very clean, right on the ocean and easy to access. The explanation for access could have been written more clear, as we had a challenge figuring it out. Otherwise a first class older property!! I will use it again for sure.

My whole family had a great time staying at this house it was cozy and just a walk across the street to a small beach that my kids loved. Deers were in the front yard every morning it was amazing. The only thing is that if you have small kids the front door only has 1 lock that is easy to open so keep a eye on that door to the street. Would highly recommend any family staying at this home.

Beautiful location w amazing views, easy access to the coastal trails. Comfortable gathering places. We were there for 4 days - for a wedding at Pebble Beach so we didn’t spend lots of time at the house. Note- The carpets must’ve been cleaned before us so they were damp the whole time we were there.

Property exactly as represented. Unlike many vrbo rentals, this house was very well stocked. Anythung we thought of needing they had there waiting for us.
Loved the location - great path for walking, cool tidepools right across the street, deer grazing in frong and back uards, beautiful sunsets. On our last day we had 2 solid hours of whales feeding and spouting visible from the house.
Host was wonderful and very responsive.

My family and I loved this house! The location was great, just walk a few steps and you are on the beach. When you have to go back inside, you can still see the ocean from every room! The house had lots of comfortable seating, the bedrooms were big, and the mattresses were comfortable. Everything was very clean and the house had everything we needed. I did not want to leave and I definitely want to come back!

Great location with beautiful scenery! But the painters got in the way. First, we could not check in at 3:30 as promised because the painters were there. They did not leave until I contacted the owner, so we checked in after 4:30. Then at check-out, they were there again by 8:00 am, when check-out is at 10:30. They waited around the outside of the house scoping out the windows, etc. They also left garbage, taking up 75% of one of the garbage cans. (The property rep did not believe us.)
Other issues of safety came up, such as a few of the windows were unlocked, and a lamp that fell apart when moved appeared to have been repaired multiple times, as indicated by the glue on the lamp base at the break. Fortunately, my husband checked and addressed the situation regarding the windows, but my son--a fireman--was concerned that none of the bedrooms had smoke detectors.
We have rented a number of VRBO homes and were pleased overall with our stays. For us, this time it was the beach access that made the difference, not the accommodations.

We had intentions of exploring the area but the location was so amazing, we spent the majority of the time on the front patio deck enjoying the view. It met the needs of our group perfectly.

The home's location is great. It was so easy to drive to all the nearby towns and attractions. The views are wonderful. We found this home very charming. We enjoyed the many unique furniture pieces. The heat works very well and the beds were comfortable. Due to California restrictions we couldn't make a wood fire outside, but we enjoyed sitting out front and taking in the scenery before us. There was plenty of hot water for showers, etc. Something to note is there is a Nespresso single cup coffee maker and it cannot use typical K cups. The sea air has warped the door leading into the garage and it can be difficult to open/close, but that is to be expected when the home is across the street from the ocean. If you are looking for a home that is very modern and more hotel-like, this may not be the place for you. My friend and I were very happy here and would stay again in the future.

We had a great time exploring the tide pools, watching the otters and even saw whales spouting in the distance - from the living room! Everything went smoothly and we were even given early access, thank you!!!

Everything was wonderful about this property except that we lost power due to high winds for the majority of our stay. Owners did give us more firewood but only one of the flashlights worked. Owners were communicative and as helpful as they could be given the entire Monterey area was out of power. Location is a dream and would love to stay again. Literally steps to the beach and walking trails and easy to get around.

Great stay even though raining like crazy. House was clean and dry and big enough for all. Kitchen well equipped. Great place to watch the waves when you can’t go outside.
