Nous avons finalement emménagé dans notre nouveau condo en mai 2018! Dès que vous franchissez la porte d'entrée, le luxe à l'état pur et des vues spectaculaires sur le récif et la mer des Caraïbes vous souhaitent la bienvenue.
Que ce soit pour savourer votre café du matin ou pour savourer un verre de vin le soir, vous aurez envie de passer du temps sur le grand patio où vous avez une vue panoramique sur l'océan. Au petit matin, vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir des dauphins le long de la jetée ou tout au long de la journée, de regarder le balbuzard pêcheur plonger dans l'eau bleu turquoise après le poisson tout en regardant passer les bateaux. Si vous étiez plus près de l'eau, vous y seriez!

This condo is beautiful and so clean! I would even say spotless. The views are gorgeous and the location is convenient to restaurants and activities. Mariah was very helpful with recommendations and checking to make sure our stay was comfortable. We were so comfortable, we opted to stay in one night. Don’t miss out on Secret Beach and take a boat to Caulker Caye. Great restaurants on the property, delicious drinks and a very convenient grocery store on property. Highly recommend!!

Mariah and the Grand Caribe team were excellent, very helpful and quite accommodating. Upon arrival you are greeted by the staff and a welcome cocktail awaits you. Upon entering the condo, the ocean front view is breath taking. It is a "Wow" moment. The pool staff truly make sure you have everything you need. Overall, our stay was excellent and truly a 5 star experience.

We had a wonderful time! The resort is located close enough to restaurants but far enough outside of the hectic downtown area. Everyone is friendly and helpful, great food & drinks at the pool. Easy to grab a lounge chair or just sit on our balcony. Stocked with anything you may need! It was the perfect space for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys 16 & 17).

We loved our stay and pleasantly surprised there was complimentary laundry and daily housekeeping! Beautiful balcony views, 15 minutes from the water taxi and close to many restaurants!
Everyone was so nice and welcoming! We arrived by water taxi and had a Grande Caribe employee waiting to shuttle us to the resort, we rented a golf cart from Grande Caribe, check in and check out was a complete breeze!! Definitely recommend!!
Also, very kid friendly! We brought our 5 and 6 year olds!!! ❤️

We had the most amazing time in Belize with our family of 4. This condo has amazing views, and is stocked with everything you could imagine. The staff at Grande Caribe always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the laundry service and cleaning each day, which is often not an option in condos. We traveled with two teenagers so having the extra bathrooms and second bedroom was perfect. Everyone had more than enough space during our stay! The information guide that Mariah provided was so helpful and we referred to it often for the best places to eat and explore. We used the concierge service to book an excursion to the main land and another for parasailing and a private snorkel tour. All were handled as expected and we really enjoyed the Tuff E Nuff tours. Highly recommend this beautifully appointed condo! Looking forward to our return!

Top-notch property. Mariah has thought of everything you might need at the condo for a fantastic stay. Top-of-the-line products adorn the kitchen. It felt like "home." The view from the lanai is spectacular. if VRBO had a ten-star rating, this unit would earn it.

We can’t wait to come back!
This was our first trip to Belize and this condo was AMAZING! We made use of the oceanfront balcony with dining table and comfortable lounge chairs, first thing in the morning, late afternoons before heading to dinner, and, again at night.
Mariah is the perfect hostess. She was great to correspond with. The Grand Caribe Resort was so nice to be a part of. The food was great. The poolside drinks were great. The staff are friendly and attentive and we were well taken care of.
The resort arranged our Tropic Air flights from and to Belize City and our airport transfers, and arranged for a nurse to come to our condo to administer our Covid tests.
We rented a golf cart from Junior at One Love Rentals. He met us at Grand Caribe after we checked in.
We had great meals at Elvi’s, the Blue Water Grill, and Carumba’s where you get to pick out your own fish!
We had a fantastic full day outing with Wilfred, owner of Reel, Grill, & Chill Belize. He picked us up at the resort dock, took us fishing for snapper, and then took us to a quiet cove with a beautiful beach. He made us snapper ceviche and snapper two ways on the grill with incredible potatoes and coconut rice. Cold beers and rum punch were a great pairing!
After lunch he took us out to the reef to snorkel. We saw large rays, turtles, sharks, and lots of beautiful fish. It was a great day!
We can’t wait to return to Belize!

We just got back from our stay and are already trying to figure out when we'll be able to get back. The condo unit is beautifully furnished, spacious and has great ocean views. The owners have thought of and provided everything you could possibly need during your stay. We traveled with our 3 kids (ages 4, 6 and 9) and the basket of sand toys, footballs and frisbees was a huge hit. And the Grand Caribe resort amenities were even better than expected. From help arranging rides to/from the airport and golf cart rentals, to scheduling COVID tests, laundry service, poolside food and drink availability, friendly staff and well maintained grounds - this place does it all very well. Great location too. An easy golf cart ride into town but with plenty of even closer restaurants and places of interest as well. Loved it and look forward to getting back!

A slice of Island living
The owners have anticipated everything you may need or want in their beautiful home. Top of the line accommodations. We sipped our morning coffee as we watched the sun rise over the ocean. The Grande Caribe Resort is very well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful with any requests. Looking forward to returning again.

Perfect place to stay
Loved the ocean views, sitting on the dock watching tarpon and rays swim by and sitting by the pool. The family loved the games by the pool and getting picked up at the dock for snorkeling.
The unit had everything we needed and the front desk was very helpful with additional linens and cleaning when requested. We will definitely be back to Grand Caribe.

This condo was one of the best (if not the best!) we've stayed in during all our travels! The condo had everything you could possible need and more. The decor was beautiful. All of the information about the island Mariah sent ahead of time was so helpful in planning our trip. We took many of her recommendations and we're not disappointed. One of our best nights was when we hosted our group of 10 in our condo and had "Chefs for Hire Belize" come in and cook a delicious meal! The staff at the Grand Caribe were awesome. We will definately be back! If this condo is available, BOOK IT!!

If you're looking for an excellent, clean, friendly and accommodating resort on Ambergris Caye, look no further than Grand Caribe. Exceeded our expectations! This condo is amazing! The views from your own private balcony are breathtaking. The resort staff were all wonderful. (Housekeeping and laundry daily) This condo is beautifully decorated and has many extra touches to help make this your home away from home. The owner is very responsive to questions and very helpful with information on the island. I would not stay anywhere else!!

Amazing, beautiful condo stocked to the gills!
This new unit at Grand Caribe Belize was even better than it looks in the pictures! We were blown away by the beautiful design, furnishings, decor, and the sheer amount of added amenities that are especially stocked in the kitchen: It would be an entertainers dream kitchen! This was by far the nicest 2-bdm. 2.5 bathroom condo we’ve ever stayed in. Each bedroom is at opposite ends of the condo, and is enormous for a resort condo, so there is more than enough privacy for two couples. The view was amazing, the balcony was huge and comfortable, the staff was wonderful (housekeeping every day, will do laundry for free(!) every day), and the grounds were lovely. We rented a golf cart directly from the resort and explored the entire island. The only possible thing we could think of that this unit didn’t already have is it would be helpful to have a full-length mirror in each bedroom when getting ready instead of having to go out in the hallway, but that’s definitely not a complaint! We would 100% recommended this unit, and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful.
We had a wonderful time on Ambergris Caye and at the Grand Caribe Belize. Our only disappointment was with the island itself, as there aren’t really any beaches that you can easily just walk off the sand into crystal-clear water for swimming and snorkeling. Most of the shoreline water is dark, covered with sea grass, and many areas have tons of smelly seaweed. You can see the crystal water, and snorkeling is SPECTACULAR, but you really need to book an excursion for that. (And, don’t be fooled: Secret Beach isn’t a secret, isn’t really a “beachy beach” and is a tourist trap to sell goods and drinks.) We are definitely beach people, so this was a disappointment as I said, but we still loved the people, the food, the crazy golf cart traffic in San Pedro, and had a blast. Would highly recommend a snorkeling sailing excursion with the crew from Las Gaviotas, booked through Mundo Mayo tours, and a day trip to the super-chill Caye Caulker. Thanks, Mariah, for the wonderful stay and your perfect condo, and to the people of Ambergris Caye, Belize for your lovely hospitality, and spectacular coral-filled waters!

Truly Amazing!
We recently stayed in this beautiful newly renovated ocean front condo. It was beautiful. The owner thought of everything and was fully equipped with items that you would never expect. (e.g. flashlights, coolers, yoga mats, Alexa, entertaining serving ware, high end kitchen appliances....even blank thank you cards for the housekeeping staff). The decor was out of this world!
The property was beautiful and well kept (5*). The service was incredible at the pool, restaurants, front desk and concierge. We did a snorkeling tour and they even picked us up right on the dock.
This place is well worth it!

Anniversary trip
My wife and I spent a week here for our anniversary. It was perfect for an adult only trip. The property is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. You never had to "save" a spot by the pool so you had a chair and the swim up bar is great. The grocery store on the property allowed us to get all the essentials we needed to make a lot of our own meals and drinks. We took kayaks out to the reef and did some snorkeling, which was amazing. The staff at the dock were very helpful getting the kayak ready for us and assisting my wife as she can be a bit clumsy getting in, ha. We went on a snorkel trip and to Shark ray alley and had a good afternoon.
The unit we stayed in was more than we expected. We had everything we could possibly need. The master bedroom was great and we had plenty of space, my wife loved the large tub. The kitchen was very modern and had everything we needed to feel comfortable cooking some of our meals. The owners were extremely helpful and so nice to work with.
I would love to come back here again and would be fun to go with another couple since there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there is plenty of room for 2 couples to stay and each have their own space. I would definitely recommend to others or anyone looking for a quiet & peaceful place to stay right on the beach. We will for sure be coming back again and will stay in the same unit since the owners were so good to work with.

This condo was a perfect turn key vacation home. It was fully furnished with any utensils needed for a great get away. It was perfect for two couple as it has two bedrooms and bathrooms, with a spectacular view of crashing waves on the reef. If the ocean isn't your cup of tea, there is a wonderful pool with a swim up bar/restaurant . The location of the condo caters to anyone's needs as it is close to town, and also leaves the more adventurous able to explore the rest of the island. The staff was more then helpful advising on activities around the area. Can't wait for our next vacation at the condo in beautiful Belize.

So much fun with friends!
We spend a week in this unit with another couple. The unit was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need in a vacation condo. Nice coffee maker a waffle iron, very nice pots and pans. It was very clean and well taken care of. We loved that we could just plug our usb jacks into the upgraded outlets. It was plenty of room for 2 couples. Loved the big fluffy pool towels.nice washer and dryer. The decor in the unit was really cool as the paintings were from a local artist in town, and after inquiring to the owners, Mariah helped us find the studio and we got our very own painting. The ground level unit was nice and had a great view of the beach. Grand Caribe grocery store was very convenient and we found the price fairly close to what we saw in town. We rented a golf cart for the week so we ate at the condo or in town while we were cruising around so did not try the food at the Grand Caribe, but heard their new restaurant Rain is pretty nice. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning! We had never used VRBO before so was a little nervous, but the owners Dean & Mariah were so helpful and gave us some wonderful tips that helped us have a wonderful experience.

Lovely Condo, Great Owner, outstanding staff!
Beautiful resort with outstanding grounds, pool, location restaurant and location (a short golf cart ride from town, recommend you rent a golf cart if you are there for a week or more)
The condo was stunning, VERY roomy (we were two couples) with top notch accoutrements! As a long-time VRBO client who has rented many NICE properties, this was the best with a kitchen outfitted for the most discerning chef! However- construction in the unit above us was VERY noisy, from sun-up to after sun down.

Great Unit, Incredible Resort - Best place on the Island
Our family of 4 just returned from a one week stay in this unit. We absolutely loved everything about it and thought that our choice of this unit and resort really made the trip the very best. The unit itself is exactly as shown in the photos, although I think it is more spacious than the photos show. Both bedrooms are nice sizes and there is plenty of storage in the bedrooms and bathrooms as well as high quality linens. The kitchen is huge and was by far the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a vrbo. There were tons of beach towels which we really appreciated. Only slight drawback for us would be that the beds were not especially comfortable - but we think that's typical for Central America and also a matter of preference. It would not keep us from staying again.
It is a first floor unit and we loved the convenience (most buildings don't have elevators). It is well located in the resort - convenient to the pools, dock, restaurant, the front office, and the golf cart parking. Daily housekeeping was very nice. The resort itself is unbelievably amazing and after exploring the island over the week stay, we agree that it is the best on the island. Further north the roads get bad and it would have to make getting places more difficult. In town is too congested and not relaxing. Grand Caribe is just far enough away to offer a relaxing atmosphere but convenient enough that you can get to town easily. There is even a convenience/grocery store before the bridge that we used several times. The resort pools are beautiful, the beach/ocean views outstanding. The resort staff impressed us with their friendliness and service. Everything was efficient from check-in to check-out. The resort connected us with great tour providers also. We truly had everything we could have asked for.
Some things that may be helpful to future guests: The condo provides toilet paper and toiletry items such as soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion. Trash bags, dishwasher soap were also provided. These aren't always offered in vrbo rentals. There is a safe in the master bedroom BUT it is very small. It will hold passports, wallets, and smart phones, but it will not fit an ipad or certainly not a laptop. The Wi-Fi worked well and my teens were thankful!
The owner was extremely helpful, responsive, etc. We would absolutely stay in this unit again - which we hope to do often now that we've discovered such a great place!

EXCEPTIONAL AND EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS
Fabulous! Romantic! Peaceful! Great Service! Clean! Safe! Spacious! GC definately did not disappoint. My GF and I stayed at a unit that overlooked the pool and the beach. Great views and quiet. The owners were extremely helpful and answered all my questions regarding what to do, the location and amneties. The pool bar had great food and drinks, particularly the Huevos Rancheros breakfast(make sure you get it with Fry Jacks!). Chi(the bartender) is a great source of knowledge about the area, so you will not have a hard time making friends with him. It is about 15 min water taxi, maybe 20-25 min bike ride to san pedro, so if u are okay with a little more distance to town, then this is the place for you. We liked the peacefulness of the area. We recommend getting bikes and riding up and down the beach. We recommend getting breakfast at Ak'bol( few min away), drinks at Palapa( few min away) and eating at Matachia(one of the coolest decor you will see) and getting the Quesdilla. Matachia is about a 25-30 min bike ride north up the coast, but you will see and visit some awesome bars such as captain jack's, coco beach( a favorite of ours), capricorn and a whole host of others! We also recommend a sunset sail, GC can set it up for you. It was out of this world. We loved it so much that we are considering getting a unit there. We will stay at the GC again.

Beautiful condo on Ambergris
We spent a week in this condo with another couple and had a great stay. The condo is new and very spacious and nicely decorated. The setting is beautiful looking across the huge pool (actually there are 4 separate pools) out to the ocean beyond. It should be pointed out that you don't have access to the laundry room in the condo, which is kept locked. You have to have the maid do your laundry. She did do a good job.
The staff were always pleasant and helpful There are several restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite was the Aji Tapa Bar right next door. We also liked the Palapa Bar for lunch. There is also Cowboy Doug's right on the grounds at the pool, which is very convenient.
We went snorkeling with Alphonse (recommended by the concierge). This was the best snorkeling trip we have ever been on. We saw nurse sharks, rays, a moray eel, and so many beautiful fish. Alphonse was a great guide and pointed out so many things. He was also very helpful when I had a problem with my mask.
The only negative thing was the cost of getting to San Pedro. It was about $70 a day or $300 a week to rent a golf cart, plus you had to pay $5 toll each way to cross the bridge into town. We just took a taxi the couple of times we went in, which was $17.50.
Mariah, the owner of the condo, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING!
I stayed here with my husband and 4 children for a week in June. We had the most amazing time at the Grand Caribe! This unit was a fantastic place to stay - it had everything we could have wanted in a vacation spot. The unit itself was clean, nicely decorated, located in the complex convenient, etc. The property was so well maintained, the pool was so much fun to hang out at, and the employees at the Grand Caribe did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The only disappointment was that the canoes were not available on site to rent, but we walked just a bit up the beach and rented them from another location. Otherwise, that was probably the only thing the resort said they had that didn't live up to the billing. We were so pleasantly surprised at what a great place this was to stay! The owners went out of their way to help us prepare for our vacation and give us suggestions on what to do while we were there and what to bring with us. It was so nice having laundry done while we were there so we did not have to worry about that on our return. I would recommend this spot to anyone! We met so many nice people at the pool and really enjoyed that. THANK YOU!
