This was our second year visiting the Whatley home. Our family loves the location, layout, and access to water. We did encounter several things that required immediate attention…door access code provided was the wrong one…property manager was responsive and there was minimal disruption. We had another issue in the kitchen that resulted in an afternoon of service visits (major disruption). I did message owner separately and she was responsive and quickly sent top notch service folks. This home needs a bit of TLC, decluttering, and a deep cleaning in the kitchen of all appliances. The home is also in need of quality bath towels and a new drip coffee maker. The last few days of our trip I had to run out every morning to pickup coffee for the adults. We appreciate the responsiveness of the owner during our stay and hope that with a few changes we will be able to return in the future.

Location is perfect. Go right outside off back deck onto the beach. Beautiful scenery. Rainbow every morning. The owner very responsive to any questions we asked. Upon the last day putting beach chairs away noticed underneath the house by the bathroom with the bunk bedroom leaking water, causing the wood to rot. The floor of the shower has cracks which is causing leakage. But we are sure the owners will fix. Loved this place and hope to come again!

Great location, beach was never crowded even on 4th of July. House had everything as advertised.

We loved this property, the location, and the wonderful amenities. The owner/manager was very responsive and quite helpful with my clarifying questions prior to the trip. The home is well laid out with a bathroom for each bedroom, washer/dryer, and enough seating so our family of 9 could dine together. Loved the fact that we had a grill and only left to eat local cuisine three times during our visit. The home is beach/ocean front, stocked with beach chairs/towels, water toys for kids/adults, and has a well-stocked kitchen. We loved this home so much that we went ahead and booked it again for June 2023. Our two grandchildren (boys ages 2.5 and 4 years) enjoyed the beach and water with grandpa and great grandpa riding the waves with them. Oh…the memories we made… This is a great rental property especially if you don’t want to travel with everything from your home. It really is a ‘home away from home’.

Lovely beach house right on the beach. Kitchen had everything you need! Plenty of space for our large group. There was also all the beach gear you might need as well as plenty of towels. We will definitely stay here again. Very clean and easy to get to everything nearby.

This house exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time.

House is right on the beach, with a really nice porch and a great view! Also close to lots of eating options. We loved having 4 bathrooms! There was only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels and 1 garbage bag for the house- so obviously for our group of 12 we needed to buy more. Also there was no laundry detergent and they asked us to start a load of towels when we were leaving. They did have a bunch of beach towels available to use, along with some beach chairs. We had a great time and can’t wait to book this house again!

The single story beach front worked out great for our multigenerational family vacation. The large great room with two large couches and two dining areas accommodated our large group. Nice clean beach and lovely view!

We just got back from our 6 night stay at this wonderful house. This is the best place we have ever stayed. House and hosts were wonderful! Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thos home was a perfect fit for our family. The view when u walk in the front door is breathtaking. We loved the beachfront location. Nothing beats coffee on a deck overlooking the gulf. This house is everything the listing says. We will rent this home again in the future. The only reason for 4 stars on communication is we didnt have any contact with them because everything was perfect.

The house was perfect! Being directly on the beach was the best! Such and easy walk to the water, and back to the house for any refreshments! At night the kids hunted for crabs on the beach, while the grown ups sat on the fabulous porch!

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. Easy access to the beach. The back deck is absolutely amazing! Home was very clean, and the homeowners even checked in on us during our stay, to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended. Our family wants to stay there again.

This is an outstanding value. Property is beautiful, professionally decorated, provides all amenities and is far superior to anything we expected. You cannot go wrong and I don't suspect you can do better. Occupants ranged from 6 to 80 and all were well satisfied...Top value!!!

The property was lovely and the access to the beach was absolutely wonderful and gorgeous! We truly loved our stay there!! The bedroom spaces were great, especially having the front access to the beach. There are just a few things that we would make improvement suggestions on: 1. We were not given any information about how to gain access to the house. I had to text my friend who's family owns the home. 2. We were told that the check out time on our online reservation was at 4pm but the instructions on the refrigerator said 10am. 3. The couches in the family room seem fairly worn down and were a bit uncomfortable to sit on.

Great location, couldn’t be any closer to the water and a beautiful house. Only problem we were given the wrong code for the door and it was near impossible to contact someone to help. Number provided on website, I was on hold over 20 minutes and was finally connected to the owner who provided the correct code

The view from windows and the deck are truly worth the drive. There are few homes where you can walk off the deck and step on the white sand, just a short stroll from the water. Lots of beach toys and an undated kitchen make this a great place for family or a couple in search of privacy and peace.

Has everything you need- great kitchen, beautiful view of the ocean, lots of beach toys, and close by to everything. The only negative thing is the TV cable. Was always acting up.

This was our 2nd time staying at the house. We love the updates made to the house and the location is perfect. The tropical storm tried to put a damper on our week but we just fixed a glass of wine, sat under the covered deck and enjoyed the crashing waves. We have 6 grandchildren (3 boys & 3 girls) ages 6 to 18 and I was a little nervous about putting them all in the bunk room but it worked out perfectly. The only suggestion I would have would be maybe not so many dishes and pots and pans. We love to cook and grill at the beach but there was no room to put groceries. The other suggestion would be a queen bed in the twin bedroom. Ended up talking with one of the owners the day we left and he couldn't have been a nicer or friendly gentleman to talk to. This is definitely my go to house when heading to the west coast(we usually rotate east and west coast). So much to do in that area but when you are at the beach house it's like you have your own little private spot. This one is a keeper!!!!
