Literally just a dream! Sun, sea, swing and lots of smiling! the host and his crew made this stay amazing and we felt most welcome during our whole trip in sri lanka! so many smiling faces and they fulfilled even though it was not easy during the current circumstances all of our requests and just wanted us to have a good time. dreamsea is a must to visit as the food is incredible as well. and the location - well - nothing can beat that! :)

Amazing hotel, highly recommend. The views from the upper rooms are incredible and you can walk right down to the beach from the hotel. The staff were amazing, food was excellent and the room and hotel common areas were all very tastefully decorated. Will def be back!

The pool and bar area were comfortable with a very chilled and surfers vibe. We have had various meals at the hotel and the food was generally very tasty. The room is nice with a good view overlooking the pool area and the sea.

The staff were at times unprofessional, for example no real welcome when we arrived, we had to seek guidance ourselves on the basics - breakfast time, Wi-Fi; the staff would hang around in hotel lobby areas taking all the seats available for guests and leaving the bar unattended; for a few times, drinks/ meals ordered were forgotten. That said, they were friendly and helpful when asked. The shower in the bathroom doesn’t have any curtain, and so the bathroom got very wet whenever we had a shower. There was also no safe or fridge which proved useful in other hotels. The hotel is on a main road which is very much in the process of being developed (maybe in 1 to 2 years it will be a lot nicer) - loads of constructions works, not overly suitable for tourists at the moment. The beach area close to the hotel is nice and you can swim if you want, however there is litter on the beach which makes it unpleasant to stay around. We were there in Beginning of May and we wouldn’t recommend if you want to meet people and go out to local restaurants as it is low season and it is pretty much empty with lots of places closed. The hotel offers surf classes, 45$/2h, very overpriced if you compare with other offers in the area. We would suggest you get a tuk tuk to Weligama or Kabalana beach and ask for classes there. Also, for this purpose Hiriketiya is a much nicer area to go to if you are considering whether to stay in this area or not.

Lovely Bali inspired hotel just by the perfect beach. Great healthy breakfast and food. The rooms had great view over the ocean and in good size.

One of the good things in this place as defined by the manager was when chilling downstairs in the pool we have a washroom below so that we can ensure our "chill" does not go away by needing to go upstairs for the loo. Things could only go downhill from here and it did. Weird pish posh of food items in the menu no room service and lacking for basic amenities

Great location, amazing view, good vibes. I loved the room I stayed in and the garden with the pool was lovely and quiet. The food is good as well. Would def recommend.

Nothing really! If I have to mention one thing: I made a reservation for 4 nights and had to swap rooms after 2 nights. It was not that bad but normally when I book through Booking I never had this. But in the end it wasn't a problem for me tbh. O and when I paid something was wrong with the conversion rate, but that was fixed quickly.

Beautiful rooms, clean and lovely decor. Outside area is spacious, pool is really clean, the beach is super quiet (except the odd stilt fisherman!) Breakfast is superb (the smoothie bowls are 👌🏼) and the bar staff made great cocktails on request!

Great hotel with awesome staff. They really try to help you in any question and request you have. Nice rooms with good view and easy access to pool. It is possible to arrange surf lessons, but keep in mind that you can find cheaper prices on nearby beaches.

Breakfast menu can be extended: only 4 options is not enough, especially if you stay for more then 3-4 days.
