The proximity to the old town and the penthouses itself -the idea of the outside leaving is so unique for where I am from and there is nothing better for holiday I could wish for.The leaving spaces were beautifuly arranged so you could enjoy throughout the day different areas for different purposes.All facilities we needed were there - the bath towels quantity exceeded my expectations :) Beautiful room's, leaving room, kitchen. Possibility to use owners private parking space in nearby garage was great.
Lack of time to use all this beautiful spaces and lift could be a little bit quicker but come on how many holiday lets in the area have private lift?

The place is absolutely extraordinary. We read that it's supposed to have 5 rooftops, but to actually see them is mindblowing ;) We used the top one for morning yoga and the others for dining, playing cards and so on. The inventory is really nice and high quality as the owner used to live there and designed it himself.
The communication with the owner and his colleague was super easy via whatsapp. The lift broke down once and they immediately sent someone to fix it.
We were also able to spontaneously rent a spot in a garage from the owner nearby because the parking is really difficult in the old town.
The area itself is really charming with a lot of nice little restaurants and bars. The downside is that it can be a bit noisy at night, but because of the curfew in the time we were traveling, we knew that after 1am it got quieter.
We had a little bad luck with the weather, so to change rooms, e.g. the living room, you have to cross the terraces which means walk through the rain/wet surfaces. But thats obviously part of the deal: the place is designed to living and spending time outdoors.

The location was fantastic, among the attractions, bars and restaurants of the old town and with the fabulous Mercado de Vegueta on the doorstep. The property itself was full of charm: a modernised interior of a nineteenth century building but with many original features retained. It was very charming and quirky in its arrangement of rooms around patios - in fact there were as many patios as rooms, which gave a wonderful feeling of light and space. Our hosts, Victorio and Eduardo, couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. We were greeted by Eduardo and his wife Raquel, with an array of provisions and, as it was 5th January, the traditional cake eaten for the last day of the Christmas festival. Not only did our hosts recommend and book a restaurant for a birthday celebration but they were kind enough to allow us to use one of their personal parking spaces when we hired a car for a week. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.
