This place has phenomenal views, the whole house is gorgeous. It's only a 10 minute drive from town (but it's steep and bendy so not for the faint hearted!) Bruc the dog, what a gentle and lovely soul.

Pool being heated! It was very cold in October. A few other travellers have mentioned the option for food in the evening, this would have been perfect, as we didn't always want to go into town and the options there were limited at this time of year.

Place is very peaceful, perfect to disconnect and enjoy amazing views! And - you get to play with a friendly dog :) Room was very clean, atmosphere very pleasant. Host is very nice.

Breakfast are very small. Dinner would be a nice option - otherwise you need to go to the village to get some food. Water pressure in the shower quite low.

It is a great location and the facilities are great.

True the location is fantastic and the place offers great comfort and high quality. However, there is something wrong with it. It took me quite an argument with the owner to convince him that he needs to wear a face mask and insist that all guests do. He said he never wore a mask in the hotel, people in the town nearby do not and that he’s not in a position to make his guests wear mask - which is a lie because it is his obligation to wear a mask and request same from all guests, it is a law. He should know that as we’re now a year into the pandemic, lot of people have died. If he does not want to obey the rules, he should not be running a hotel. I would have looked for an alternative place to stay but it was late, the hotel’s off the beaten track andI had pre-paid the room. On top of it, our stay was quite expensive for Catalunya and the breakfast was meagre (coffee/water/jam/bread/cheese/butter) and we had to pay for orange juice at breakfast - to be honest I think it was the first time I had been asked to pay for orange juice at a hotel breakfast. My advice: stay away from it, it is overpriced and I do not like the attitide of the owner regarding the safety and health of his guests.

The house is located on a slope overlooking Ribes de Freser. It's a bit remote, but you can still get there walking from the train station. The owner is super nice and helpful. There is a dog, a cat and 2 horses so contact with the nature is granted. There is also a room that can be used as an office, so working from there is a valid option. You can order a pretty good dinner and spend some time next to a chimney. In general it's an ideal place to relax and disconnect.

The place is lovely, it is very relaxing and quiet and above all it has a beautiful views. The host, Albert is very friendly as long as his dog, Bruc. We really enjoyed our stay and had a very relaxing getaway. Everything was trully exceptional! This casa rural is 100% recommended.
