Overall, we found the house and our weeklong stay to be quite pleasant. We loved the location and the different amenities, but we did experience a few minor issues: - The house wasn’t as clean as we had expected - The AC did a poor job at cooling the bedrooms, which made the nights rather warm - We encountered a snake within the pool area while we were sunbathing, which seemed to have entered through a gap beneath one of the doors - The bed in the master bedroom was unstable due to several broken bed legs - Several of the other beds were also visibly worn down and somewhat rickety Other than the issues mentioned above, we had a very nice stay in a spacious and beautiful house.

Just what we needed for 8 adults and a teen to enjoy a week at the beach. Pool was perfect, and the basketball hoop and tennis court was an added bonus. While we did drive mostly, the beach was definitly just a short walk away...way too hot for that. We had a wonderful week.

We loved our time at this place. Lots of family fun in the pool. Kitchen was adequate for food prep. Lots of exercise with the stairs.

The house was very nice. I rated the overall stay a 4 because of the limited seating in the living room area. A large chair addition would improve the seating for additional guests. The house needs some improvement on the exterior.

The house was as advertised, once we learned where everything was we settled in for a nice relaxing week. Great views in the evening from the balcony and the pool was a big hit. Short walk to the beach every day as well. A lot of stairs, but that was expected. A great place to stay if you are looking.

The house looks even nicer in person than it did online. It's very helpful to read the info binder when you first arrive. Enjoyed having breakfasts on the screened in porch. Loved that they have everything you need in the kitchen. Very close to the beach which also has restrooms. We explored other beaches and downtown Venice. Had a wonderful time!

This house was perfect for families! Renter beware - there are a lot of stairs! The kids and adults both had an amazing time. This is close to the beach and shockingly minimal traffic. Great location!

The house was very nice. We really enjoyed the pool, basketball and tennis. The beach was a easy walk with beautiful sunsets.

This house was wonderful! Such a very short drive to Manasota beach, which was our favorite beach of the several we visited. The pool area is wonderful and was used a ton by our group. Beds were comfortable. There are a lot of steps so be prepared for that if there is anyone in your group that may struggle with that. The house is amazingly stocked and had so many extras left by previous guests as well for the beach and pool. We had ages ranging from 7-69 and there was fun to be had by all! We would definitely return!

Everything in the house is very organized—plenty of bathroom towels, kitchen stuff, games, blankets. Internet service was great! Quiet neighborhood.

This house was perfect for our three families. Plenty of space and each family had their own bathroom. The backyard was so much fun for swimming, basketball, and tennis. It is just a short drive to the beach. We loved that their were 2 refrigerators.

The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked many meals there. The home has extra pillows and plenty of towels for the beach and bathrooms. We spent a lot of time in the pool and playing tennis and basketball. The beach is a short drive or 10 minute walk away. There are lots of sand toys, an umbrella, beach wagon, chairs and cooler available for use. We will definitely rent this home again!

This was a beautiful home to stay at! The home had so many nice accommodations. My children loved the tennis courts and basketball hoop. The pool was really nice too. Manasota beach was just a two minute ride away…we also brought our bicycles to ride to the beach. This is my favorite area tgat my family has visited for some years now and this time did not disappoint. The kitchen had everything we needed to have a nice meal in and I absolutely loved the screened in patio. Thank you for allowing us to use your home. It was a beautiful vacation.

This house was perfect for our family! We had 6 adults and 3 children that were 5 and under. The house had plenty of room for everyone to have their space- yet there were great gathering places. The deck off the kitchen was spacious and allowed for many meals to be eaten outside. The tennis court, basketball and pool were utilized daily and the short walks to the beach were easy! The neighborhood was nice and getting to Venice or Engelwood were short drives. The property manager was readily available and helped us with a few issues. This home allowed us to have a fun and relaxing time. We would love to come back!

We really enjoyed spending time at this house. Loved the pool. All the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Liked the neighborhood hidden back off the road. Short bike ride to the beach. The view was nice . Lots of steps.. Only disappointment was the dumb waiter was out of order. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home, tons of room for everyone and good separation for large groups. Tennis/basketball court was awesome, as was the pool. Used the pool a ton because of bad red tide at the beaches, so glad we had it. Owner was very helpful and kind, thanks so much for returning the glasses my son left there! Can't wait to go back.

Every aspect of this property exceeded our expectations. No complaints.... The large pool and the tennis court (which I did not think we would use much) were in full use throughout our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer....

Family had a good time. Basketball was a hit. Kitchen well equipped. Could use better pillows. Lots of steps to carry up groceries. Outside area could use an uplift and foresure a new grill. Didn't even use. Owner and property management were great to work with. Recommend for family with little kids.

Nice house, kitchen and master on top floor. Lots of stairs, not good for knee issues. Beds were not our favorite, but that is a very individual preference. Lots of towels, but not enough wash clothes, we bought a few and left them. Nice sheets and plenty of blankets.In need of broom for pool area and a dust mop for 1st floor for folks like us that like to tidy up. I also added some large serving spoons and take away bowls for the next guest to use. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time there. The screened porches were nice. The owners were very nice and responded to our needs. Over all a good stay.

Everything was so much nicer than even pictures show! Plenty of space and things to do for two families with kids ranging in age from 3-13! Went to several beautiful beaches just a close drive away. Had fun finding sharks’ teeth. We all loved the pool and playing tennis! The screened in porches off the house and the screened in pool make it so you don’t even notice any bugs. Beach chairs, beach toys, beach cart, and nice tent make going to the beach so much easier. Hope to come back next year!

We had an amazing time at this house! Most relaxing vacation in a long while. Most of our time was spent in the pool and on the balcony. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the green areas surrounding the back yard. We saw pelicans, lizards, turtles, armadillos and more! We played tennis then cooled off in the pool. The fully screened pool/balconies made our outside time even more enjoyable because we didn't have any bugs or bees. We brought a citronella candle from home, but didn't even need to light it. We chose to drive to the beach because of all the coolers and such that we took. The inside of the house is very nice. Hard floors throughout and very clean. There is one bath tub and two walk-in showers. It was nice to have a second fridge to keep our drinks cold without coolers. the owner was very responsive and answered all the questions we had. I highly recommend this house!

We wanted somewhere close to the beach but once we were there, we didn’t want to leave. We took full advantage of the pool and the tennis/basketball courts!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Our two kids loved the pool, tennis court and basketball! Plenty of space and room for everyone to work and play. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need! This is a three level house so be prepared for tons of steps (good workout) and beautiful sunsets! Property manager was super helpful and very reaponsive! We miss the weather already.....until next time
