La propriété est située sur West Shore Road à Grand Isle sur la «Broad Lake 'en regardant à travers le lac Champlain dans les Adirondacks. Le chalet se trouve à 100 verges de la route ombragée par de vieux arbres de cèdre. Il est un beau morceau de lac avec une plage privée. Idéale pour la baignade, la pêche, ou se prélasser au soleil par l'eau. Apportez un kayak ou un bateau (bateau gratuit rampe de lancement de 400 pieds sur la route). Grand espace pour le vélo.
Le chalet peut accueillir quatre personnes dans deux chambres, une avec un lit queen-size, une avec un lit double. Il ya aussi un futon double dans le salon. Nice, confortable salon et cuisine, salle de bain avec cabine de douche, et une belle véranda au bord du lac-in. Il ya un barbecue à gaz, ainsi que d'un gril à charbon de bois, chaises Adirondack, eau de ville (pas un bien ou le lac). Serviettes de bain et draps fournis. S'il vous plaît apporter les draps pour futon si vous prévoyez d'utiliser. Foyer au gaz. Internet sans fil gratuit.

Even cool, rainy weather did not spoil the stay. The Islands are beautiful!

Beautiful, comfortable cottage on Lake Champlain with incredible view of sunsets! Although small, we spent most of our time on the screened porch (when we weren’t golfing). All over very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Spacious outside shower (very private) was amazing especially since we had 90F heat wave! All in all our 5 day stay was wonderful, thanks Dave! Great location, it is at the edge of the lake, but very safe!! All facility available to enjoy a home experience but away from home!! Excellent support from host!

The place is private, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Dave, the owner, even warned us of an approaching storm and advised us on how to protect screen porch furniture upholstery from getting wet, so communication was excellent, too.

We’ve stayed at this cottage four times now - great location - Dave is a good host and communicates well. Peaceful spot and can’t beat the view. It’s also easy to get to Burlington or across to New York depending on what you’re looking to do.

We lucked out with what a local shop owner called “the most beautiful weekend all summer” though it was end sept. Wonderful relaxing family time. Hoping to return next year!

Great view, loved the screened-in porch, hammock, rocky beach, outdoor fires, walks along the road, local produce at a neighborhood farm. Overall a great experience.
Only downside was the neighbors on either side were noisy, but still we would return. Thank you!

Enjoyed the views from the porch of this rustic cabin on the lake. Ok house for 2 adults and children (max 4 persons). One bed is comfortable, the other is not. Unable to determine the temperature of the oven bc the dial is not attached to the stove making it difficult to use. BBQ grill is nice so plan on all cooking outside. Solo stove in the yard for outdoor fire which was wonderful. Host responds quickly to all communication.

This was my second time at this cottage, and I loved it again. So did my girlfriends for whom it was a first visit. We loved eating and chatting on the screen porch, hanging out in the hammock, dinner on either porch or at table outside. The views are hard to beat, and the neighborhood is peaceful.
I had some wonderful swims in the lake, and enjoyed the walking and biking in the area too.
We will be back! Thanks again for sharing this wonderful part of Vermont!

I read all the reviews for this “cottage” before I made my reservation. According to the host it’s not a “cottage” it’s a “camp”. But not according to the listing. It’s listed as a “cottage. I don’t understand how VRBO allows such poor properties on their site.
It’s obvious my expectations are different than previous guests reviews.
There was nothing nice about the “camp”. It has a dangerous and over used oven/range, with poor wiring and lighting throughout and too few electrical outlets. It is furnished with Junk for furniture. The porch was infested with black ants. Forget the inside shower, you will have to use the one outside…even in the rain.
Contact with a host was limited. In one of the 2 conversations I had with him he was a bit cavalier in addressing the reality of one issue I had. And, basically offered no solution.

Comfortable A/C in bedroom. Lots of fans with nice screened porch. Convenient to South Hero Wally's and Seas. And to Burlington for Dining in the evening, baseball, and Movies in Essex. Nice shower always a plus. Insufficient directions for using TV, could have called, not a big deal so didn't call. Had some evenings sitting and watching the sunset. We enjoyed out time there.

This immaculately maintained cozy little cottage is situated right at the edge of the shore of Lake Champlain. The sunsets were breathtaking and the area so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect spot from which to explore all the islands have to offer, while also easy to reach Burlington.

We stayed for two days/ nights during the June heatwave. Didn’t need heat but would be a great place to snuggle and read, watch movies. Being right on the lake with the sunsets was wonderful! Great area for walks, runs, biking. David so friendly, responsive and helpful! We will find our way back! Thank you! And the windows so clean!

A perfect lake front vacation spot indeed. That view though. You will have to come and see for yourself. We had mostly cloudy weather but it just didn’t matter. The cottage was peaceful and cozy. The owner Dave was available, not that he was needed, we had everything for a perfect stay.The neighbors where, friendly. Felt like home away from home. Dave we will be back. We had a great stay in the house. The location was amazing with a view of Lake Champlain. The walk down to the beach was a nice treat. The beds were extremely comfortable and cozy.

This property is in a great location with a perfect lake view. We were looking to stay at a small cozy place and the screened in porch looking out to the lake was a definite plus. This property was immaculately clean. The neighborhood was quiet. We were looking for rest and relaxation and found it here. Great stay.

The location was amazing. You sit on the edge of the lake and see across to New York state. Couldn't have asked for a better view. The cabin was a little in the small side but it was accurately described in the listing. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Summer West is a small comfortable cottage located along the west shore of Lake Champlain with some of the best views and sunsets on the island! It’s not fancy or luxurious, but I absolutely enjoy myself every time I vacation there. Dave, the owner, is friendly, and I like that he’s only 7 minutes away if needed. Plenty to do on the islands, as well as the surrounding towns and villages. Just a delightful place to be!!!

This was our second stay here and we came back for good reasons. Great location, just the right amount of space for the two of us, easy check-in/out process, easy communication w/ the host Dave, and nobody bothered us. Love the addition of the Solo stove, which we used and the new outdoor shower looks nice, too (didn't use that, weather was too chilly.) We will be back!

A glass of Champlain! That’s how we felt about our stay in Grand Isle. Dave’s cottage is as cozy as they come and you have everything you need right there in that beautiful place on the lake. We are hoping to return as soon as possible.

We enjoyed our stay and we’re happy to have a break from the hotels we had been staying! We were able to relax and enjoy the views, peace & quiet. Right on the lake was priceless, even in the chilly weather. The neighbors were so sweet and kind as well! Will be back! Thank you!

My family likes this clean, cozy,well supplied cottage right on the lake, near activities. It is small, but is easy to make home away. The owner is available if needed. Roads here are not heavily traveled, so biking is great, with lakeside,farms,orchards to explore.

Loved this Place
My husband and I enjoyed three nights at this property. Everything was clean and in working condition. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need.
The view from the screened in porch was fabulous. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets.
Grand Isle is our favorite biking place. We also biked on nearby Isle La Motte.
Communication with Dave was easy.
We hope to return next year.

Nice location!
Perfect place for our base for fishing in that area. Clean and relaxing, nice location right on the lake with great views of water and sunsets! Loved the screen porch and outside shower. Plenty of room to park the truck and boat. Hope to return again.

Small but very comfortable lakeside cottage that has everything you need. Beautiful lake views and spectacular sunsets. Great location with lots to see and do in the area.

Perfectly peaceful getaway
From the minute we arrived we felt at home. The property was equipped with anything we could possibly need, watching the sunsets was so magical that we sat there until the sun came back up.
