The house, property, and location on the lake was great. The only downfall was that the house was not cleaned well at all. There were crumbs, hair, and dust throughout the house. We had to spend a few hours of our time to clean ourselves.

We enjoyed staying here. The gazebo was our favorite spot to hang out any time of the day. Very peaceful. My suggestion for the main level of house is to remove some of the chandeliers and replace with ceiling fans. It was a hot week up there and the AC was running non stop…hard to keep this level cool. Especially at night for sleeping. Ceiling fans would help tremendously to circulate the air. The master bedroom upstairs should have some type of window coverings by bed and sink area. Sun comes up at 5:00am and it’s shining right in the bedroom. All in all we enjoyed ourselves sooooo much!!!! Wendy S.

This vacation home is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We chose this home for our annual fishing and relaxing trip for three senior couples. We found everything to be very clean and the furnishing to be vey comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. We had lots of room on the decks for our coolers and fishing equiptment.The large gazebo was a great place to at, relax and enjoy the colorful sunsets and scenery. The neighbors and caretaker were all friendly and helpful. The large yard was great for parking our vehicles and trailers. The fishing on Nelson Lake and off of the dock was great. Thank You for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect house for a large group that wants to be together but also needs some space. The outdoor dining was phenomenal as well as the layout of the house. Would love to come again and enjoy a fire in the fireplace on crisp fall days

The home provided lots of options for the family for gathering. We loved the gazebo for meals. The little restaurant across the road had good pizza, the owners were fun. We also rented a pontoon went to where the sand bar is and had a nice lunch near there on the water.

We were looking for a quiet spot to have the whole family come stay if even for a couple days. All 3 of my boys and GF’s / one wife all got to enjoy this place during our weeks stay. Amazing location, large fire area, and the GAZEBO! Everyone agreed that this place was AWESOME!

The home and property was everything our family could have asked for. Three generations spent a week enjoying this beautiful home and location on Nelson Lake. Whether you are on the deck, the terrace, in the gazebo, the kitchen, dining room or living room the lake views are spectacular. The home is spacious and had everything we needed to settle in for a relaxing week. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and boating from the pier along with nightly bonfires in the fire pit.

Definitely beautiful spacious property for family gatherings with special decoration touches. The Gazebo is a bonus for an outside gathering area. Couple of things to note, there is a resort across the street which caught us by surprise to hear out door music in the evening. Also garbage cans are small and if filled up expectation is to take garbage to the local dump. Be mindful it does costs $6 per container (we had 2) The dock area is well kept and nice sandy Beach area.

We absolutely loved staying at the house. We had little children with us that love splashing in the water by the dock. We could not have asked for more enjoyable stay.

Great Lake Side Property. Very Clean and nice place. Property manager was excellent and followed up to make sure everything was good. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

The House is Stunning,Beautiful we brought our Pontoon and Fishing boat we had our own private boat Launch. We would Highly Recommend this Property!!!!!

This is a lovely, spacious and very well-kept home. It's on a point and has half of the tip and nearly all of one side of that point. So the setting is just beautiful. My wife and I stayed of Christmas, so there was no swimming involved! But we had a cozy stay - just a great getaway. And even if you mostly stay inside as we did, you have beautiful views from every room in the house. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful lake home for a long weekend in October. It was very quiet and peaceful on the lake. We enjoyed walks up the road and throwing rocks along the shore. We played catch in the huge yard and had a fire in the fire pit. It turned into a snowy weekend(!) so we only had one outdoor fire and enjoyed playing games indoors next to the indoor fireplace!This kitchen is well stocked with forks for roasting marshmallows, crockpot (which we used), tupperware, plenty of pans, dishes, and silverware for a crowd. There are also a couple puzzles and games. The kids were a little disappointed that the gazebo furniture was covered up for winter but it's totally understandable for the time of year--not like we could have enjoyed it on that frigid weekend! It would be a fantastic, screened-in space to hangout in nicer weather!There is tons of space inside and out and had everything we could need!

Beautiful, spacious, home with plenty of room to have family meals out in the gazebo and s’mores by the fire pit. All made better by a spectacular Fall on the secluded point. Highly recommend!

This home is so beautiful and spacious, just as pictured in the photos. The beds were comfortable and the fire pit by the lake was a wonderful place for us all to gather after hiking and mountain biking. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed a birthday tea party in the gazebo. We hope to return some day!

This lovely home was comfortable and roomy for our 3 generation family of 6. The kitchen skylight and vaulted windows made me feel like I was part of the outdoors even when I wasn’t. We didn’t have the greatest weather, but made the best of it - mountain biking, golfing, kayaking, pontooning, hanging out at the fire pit.

Love this cabin, enough space for everyone. The screened-in Gazebo was fantastic for a place to hangout after putting kids to bed. The lake level lot is also a huge plus, not having a bunch of stairs! The kids loved catching little sunnies off the dock. The extra fridge is also very helpful for large groups.

The space was very accommodating for our family of 7. We loved eating out in the gazebo each evening. We all felt the beds could be updated, and bring your own pillows.. If we would have known the yard was as large As it is, we would have brought yard games. Overall, we really enjoyed our family time together here.

First family vacation in 3 years and it was a great experience. Home was very spacious and accommodating. Plenty of family space combined with alone space. Home/kitchen was well equipped so it made family meals easy to accommodate. Love to fish so access to lake was perfect. We caught a variety of fish everyday. Next time we vacation up north this will be our first choice.

My family and I really enjoyed this lake hone. Super spacious and functional. Lots of room to spread out which is important if you have a larger group. The yard is also very family friendly as it’s well maintained and mostly level which is great for the kids to play on. Nice strong dock to fish off of or tie a boat to. Really nice fire pit which we really wish we would have used but didn’t. We have rented several cabins over the years and this is one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed at.

This home has it all!! Beautiful views of the water from almost every room. The gazebo is our favorite place to eat and it's screened in, so not too many bugs! Great swimming area, down by the dock. Not too deep, so great for the little ones. Wonderful kitchen for preparing meals, as well as an outdoor gas grill. Another dining area indoors, as well as a hearth area and living room for relaxing in. Great bedrooms; a master and another with its own bath. Close to town, so if you are looking for something to do or need something from the store, it's a very short drive!! Hope to continue renting this beautiful home from Sande for years to come:)

We had an excellent vacation at this property. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect! We had a couple of glitches but they were solved very quick. We all really enjoyed our stay and would do it again. Thank you

This property is beautiful!!! With everything you need for a great family gathering. The large yard is great. The gazebo was the gathering spot for meals, and many laughs. And the fire pit area is very large with a view of the sun set.

Excellent stay

Our three generation family spent a week at Birch Point relaxing and taking advantage of Nelson Lake and this beautiful lake home. It is even more beautiful than the pictures portray and incredibly spacious. All of the bedrooms have custom bedding and drapes which adds to the pampered feeling! There is plenty of yard space for kids to play and for outside games. There is an additional refrigerator on the lower level which was very convenient for extra water and soda. The gazebo is quite large and was our favorite spot to hang out for most of our meals and game playing. We easily arranged for a boat rental and it was delivered to the public boat launch close to this home. Sande - the owner - responded quickly to all of my texts and emails and was very easy to work with. We ate out for supper once at “The Ranch” which is a supper club restaurant in Hayward and had a great meal! The Hayward Family Restaurant is also the place to go for a great breakfast. Our vacation coincided with the local county fair which we took our grandson to for a special treat. Our family stayed busy with the usual skiing, tubing, wake-boarding, fishing, and some very competitive volleyball games! We also brought along a few ATV’s and utilized the numerous trails close to this home. We had a great family vacation and made lots of fun memories! We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and hope to come back ourselves someday.😊�

We were a family of 7 from the BOS / ME area, CA, and SE WI. We found the home large, well maintained and perfect for our family. The lower level is almost like a seperate apartment. It has a wonderful outside gazebo that we used for several meals. It is large & screened in. We used the excellent grill provided for a couple of cook-outs. The outside fire pit is wonderful for family get togethers that included "smores". It has a new, very stable pier that was used for fishing. We rented a canoe, kayak & paddle board, from Jack's that got a lot of use. My son & grandson tried to catch some larger fish for a "fish fry" but only caught smaller "trophies". Overall we had a excellent stay in a 5 star property that has a lot of room and could have easily handled 10 guests. We WOULD stay here again.

So many special niches— we played games & enjoyed our meals in the chandelier gazebo, quiet breakfast reading on the Adirondack patio overlooking the lake, gourmet grilling & cooking in the lovely marble kitchen, pontoon (we rented from Reveilles nearby) staging on the new dock, fantastic snoozing in the elegant comfy bedrooms plus evening fires on the stone fire pit area to boot! Highly recommend Birch Point!

Beautiful home on a nice-sized body of water. Gorgeous water views from living areas. Such a wonderful home. We had a great time with our children and grandchildren. Plenty of room for everyone. Large yard for outdoor games. Nice sandy area for swimming and it stays relatively shallow. A nice living area, if you like to watch tv, another sitting area for reading and relaxing. Lovely dining area which overlooks the backyard and water. Great, functional kitchen. There is a gazebo off the kitchen with a dining table. I think we ate out there just about EVERY night of our stay. It is screened in, so even if those pesky mosquitoes show up, you are pretty protected from them!! Four bathrooms, so there is always one available. Dock is tucked just inside of a bay, so not a lot of fast boat traffic (slow, no wake sign is right in front of the dock!!) yet you can still watch all the watersports going on on the lake during the day. Fishing was pretty good as well. Lots of spots to choose from and a nice boat dock for unloading your boat. This was our first year here and we hope to enjoy this home again next year.

We rented this home during the Birkebeiner cross country ski race. Although it was the dead of winter and snow piled everywhere, I can only imagine how beautiful this home is in the summer time as when the photos were taken! When renting this home, you'll find that it is eloquently decorated and immaculately kept. They are plenty of spots to hang out by yourself and read a book or gather with friends and family around one of the two fireplaces. If you're considering it for your next vacation, don't hesitate as it's worth it! As a side note, the owner is lovely to deal with!
