Un chalet en bois artisanal avec une touche contemporaine et un mobilier de qualité mettant en valeur les bois australiens. Doté plancher de bois poli et lambris. Fenêtres du sol au plafond et puits de lumière vous met en contact avec le soleil et le ciel et regarde dans la brousse.
Le pont surplombe directement la fougère-clouté Papes Glen et la piste de marche de Govetts Leap. Bien que dans un endroit de la maison de brousse est également à proximité du parc, des commerces et des cafés.
Cheminée double face Cosy à combustion lente du bois soutenue par raccordés à la cheminée convecteurs à gaz. Entièrement équipé avec cuisinière électrique au gaz moderne, micro-ondes, téléviseurs et lecteurs DVD / magnétoscopes, WiFi gratuit, chaîne hi-fi et machine à laver.
La maison offre des sièges à manger pour 8 personnes et coin salon pour 7. En dehors sur le pont il y a un barbecue en plein air sièges à manger plus il y a un coupé d'autres options pour prendre votre expérience de la maison de week-end dans la brousse.
Une deuxième salle de bains récemment ajoutée offre une douche de tête de pluie et une perspective privée de buisson. Une troisième toilette est située à l'extérieur.

This is our second stay at The Dell because we just love the house and its layout, it’s so homely and has everything we need including the great fireplace during the winter months. We will certainly be back again. Thank you Phil and Ann for sharing the wonderful Dell.

We had a ball with rocket ship park around the corner, nocturnal in Katoomba and the serene bush setting. Loved the warm fire at night and the sublime bird songs.

The Dell is a lovely place to retreat to in Blackheath to get away from it all. From the lounge, dining, back bedroom and ensuite the view looks out at the lush ferns and bush of Popes Glen. The neighbourhood is quiet and serene. It is a convenient, short 3 minute drive to Blackheath shops and close to Govetts Leap. My husband wants me to add it was a 15 minute ride to all the downhill mountain bike tracks!

We had a fabulous stay at The Dell when we were in the Blue Mountains for a weekend photography workshop. We loved that the house was so quiet and peaceful, while only about a 5 minute drive to Blackheath where we found a great cafe for coffee & lunch. It was very well situated to explore the natural beauty of the area. We made the most of the wood fire to make ourselves cosy overnight. And we loved being visited by a variety of birds each morning as we were enjoying breakfasts on the back deck looking out over the bushland.

Thanks Phil for sharing your house with us for the long weekend. We stayed with family including two preschoolers and the house was perfect for all of us. We had seriously cold and wet weather and we were very snug thanks to the wood combustion fire. Popes glen track was just behind the house and although very boggy was a good walk. Thanks again.

What a glorious house backing pope's Glen track
Loved our stay in this gorgeous house, definitely keen to stay here again. The drive way is a bit tricky to get down but there's a couple of parking spots on the street (and the stairs down to the house from the street was an unexpected delight)

Can not get closer to the National Park
A cosy home with a beautiful fire and heating that warms up the house and it holds that temperature - very important in this near winter weather. The back door is the National Park!! Beautiful views. A 1km walk or drive to the mix of shops and coffee offers. Thank you Phil.

A bush retreat!
The home was as described and so much more and there were so many thoughtful additions, particularly for guests with children. The location was perfect with the bush outlook from the back but close enough to walk to Blackheath. We will be back for sure!

Perfect, relaxing place to stay for a family
We are a family of 4 and had the perfect 5 day stay at The Dell. It is a clean, cottage-like house overlooking Popes Glen and not far from Govetts Leap. There is gas heating, but also the option to use a double sided slow-combustion wood fireplace for which there was plenty of firewood provided. Overall I highly recommend The Dell.

Wonderful Blue Mountains experience
This is a wonderful house with beautiful living spaces. We very much felt close to the national Perk and the best of Blue Mountains scenery and the village of Blackheath. We plan to come back.

Beautiful spot, beautiful house
The house is oriented towards the Pope's Glen Gully, surrounded by trees and birdcall. We stayed in a heat wave and it was pleasant. A lot of thought has gone into the design of ventilation in the house. If you shutter it in the heat, and open it up in the cool, the cooler mountain nights do the trick. It was perfect for a family of four and another couple. We liked everything about the place, the set-up, the outlook, the photos...A beautiful spot. Pope's Glen walk shut for now after the fires, but due to open again in June 2021. Many other beautiful walks nearby.

Gorgeous place to stay
This is a great spot on the edge of bushland, full of singing birds. The house is gorgeous with its 'mountain' character, fire place, and outdoor and indoor seating areas. We loved staying here - even my teenager said it was 'pretty good.'!

A 5 Star Nature Retreat
If you need a break away from zoom and you love nature- this is
the place to unwind and rejuvenate. The outdoor deck looks out onto the bushland which can be seen from the large windows inside the house. The owner provides wood and instructions on how to set up the wood fire which enhances the cosy environment.
